Chapter 3 Saving Marines and meeting up with the Master Chief

A/N I will be referring to each covenant by what they are called in game not there race as it will be easyer eg elites,grunts, jackels and brutes I already used Hunters so you can assume that the UNSC will just uses these names throughout the story

Dark Pov

As me and the rest of my team continue down the street we continue to kill foot steps are heared from behind us I just continue ahead since I already know it's Victor since I doubt that a Hunter or 2 can keep him up long "finished your fun" Alice chimes in through all the gun fire "yea they were really not that tough such a disappointment" Victor's reply showing his dissatisfaction with how weak his prey were " ok guys it's not like there's not plenty of covenant for us to kill and since I am limited with what I can do I expect the four of you to put in some more effort" with that comment Victor,Jess, Philip and Alice all ask the same question" it's that permission to let lose" as I kill the last grunt in the area I look at them " of course we need to catch up with the Master Chief destiny is already in communication with Cortana so they are not far a ahead so we need to be quick" we continue our movements through the city streets continuing our mission.

As we reach a beach at the edge of the city we come across a few destroyed ghosts but as we were about to inspect them a covenant drop ship approaches the beach and drops a few grunts and elites on to the beach not even giving them time to prepare I point my smgs at them and open fire as my teammates use there abilities to reinforce the bullets their guns shoot within a few minutes the grunts and elites are dead and the drop ship is damaged but manages to escape our constant fire. With the drop ship gone we make our way to the the passages at the opposite side of the beach that we entered from and head towards the reckages that left an opening into a tunnel usuall used by cars and follow it as we move through the tunnel we see marines pinned down by a large group of covenant I reload my smgs and get within range and begin to shoot the covenant my team joins me in this actions as the marines are given less focus by the covenant but it makes no difference as we kill all the elites the grunts start running around trying to escape but are left no option but death.

As the last grunt falls I approach the marines and ask" where's Master Chief" the marines look at each other before the one that stood Infront of the others spoke" he is up ahead at the end of the tunnel sir" [Dark I received news that sergeant johnson is bringing in a tank for master chief as well as some ammo] with the information I reload my gun before speaking " alright you guys still got ammo to continue to the exit" the marines begin to check their weapons and ammo pouches on the their belts before replying " we each got 3 more mags sir it should last us" after that's said I mostion for them to follow us andbwe continue our way to the exit killing any grunts elites and jackels that get in our way.

As we reach the exit we hear and see a pelican descending as well as watch it drop a scorpion tank before Johnson jumps down from the pelican and walks over to master chief. We approach them and it did not take long for them to notice "it's about time you guys got hear" as I espected Johnson is as sarcastic as usual " we ran into quite a few covenant on the way here but that's not the point what's the plan since we need to get rid of that scarab before we can get close to the covenant ship" I speak in a serious tone since it's a priority " I will take care of that for now we need to drive the covenant off earth" I look at Master Chief as he speaks waitong for him to finish before i reply " ok we will leave it to you we will dispose of the covenant that are on the ground and Cortana make sure he does not do anything stupid you know how he is" Johnson tries to hold back his laughter at my comment " will do Dark and I hope Destiny can remind you not to do the same" I was not surprised by Cortana response since she has always tries to get an emotional response from me since she is curious as to why I am the only one who does not retain any emotions yet the rest of my team have them in some form or another so I just ignore her comment an speak about the mission" so Master chief will take the tank and some marines and push his way to the scareb and find a way to destroy or shut it's down while me and my team take care of any stragglers that try to stop him" with that we all nod as Cortana makes a comment of thanks to johnson for the tank while sayong that master chief does not get her anything with that the pelican with Johnson leaves and we begin our mission.
