Sitting in the partition on the second floor, Murphy clinked glasses with Jonah Hill, downing a large beer. They listened to the music and glanced down at the open space below, where they could see the dance floor. In the center of the floor, four scantily clad women danced sensually around several steel poles.
"Cheers!"
James Franco raised his glass, and Murphy and the others followed suit, downing another large beer.
In less than half an hour since entering the club, the four of them had already finished several cases of beer. Alcohol, coupled with the atmosphere, brought them closer together. A few vulgar jokes and dirty stories, even with the somewhat unfamiliar Jonah Hill, made Murphy and the others more familiar.
They were of similar ages, all at the bottom of the same circle, striving hard to move forward. These shared qualities not only made them appreciate each other but also brought them closer.
Murphy was calm, James Franco eccentric, Seth Rogen outspoken, and Jonah Hill lively but crude...
"Seth told me..."
Setting down his glass, Jonah Hill, with a thick tongue, fabricated, "On his family's farm in Canada, there was a pig that refused to mate. To convince it, he slept with the pig in the farm for a week."
At this point, he burst into laughter first, slapping his thigh, "And it was a male pig!"
"Damn that pig!" Murphy, a little tipsy himself, had tossed aside any inhibitions for the occasion. He grabbed a bottle of booze, filled the four cups, his rugged face already flushed. Raising his glass, he loudly declared to Seth Logan, "Here's to the pig you've bedded, cheers!"
James Franco chimed in, "To the pig, cheers!"
Seth Logan downed the contents of his cup in one gulp, slamming it on the table with a bang. He then pointed at Murphy, James Franco, and Jonah Hill in turn, exclaiming, "You bastards, teasing me for being too honest, huh? Let me tell you..."
He belched, pounding his chest, "I, Seth Logan, have never shied away from anything, not even a pig!"
"Bullshit!" Jonah Hill scoffed, while James Franco smirked, "You actually did it with a pig?"
Murphy burst into laughter, pounding the table. Seth Logan raised his chin, looking proud as if daring anyone to challenge him.
"Alright, alright!" Murphy, with a skeptical look, turned his drunken gaze towards the dancers in the club, casually pointing at one, "Seth, if you go and kiss her feet, I'll believe you've done it all!"
Jonah Hill and James Franco joined in the cheers, "Yeah! That's it! Seth, let's see if you've got the guts to do even a pig!"
Seth Logan didn't say a word. Instead, he stood up, grabbed a bottle of beer, and poured the remaining contents straight into his mouth, with a straight neck. "Is there anything I, Seth Logan, wouldn't dare to do?"
He glanced at Murphy. "What if I did?"
"I..." Murphy swayed, his alcohol-clouded brain spinning. "I believe you've not only done pigs but also sheep and cows!"
Then, he turned to James Franco beside him. "As long as you dare to kiss the dancer's feet, Jim will dare to kiss Jonah!"
The four of them were already quite drunk. James Franco and Jonah Hill not only didn't object but also banged on the table, shouting, "That's right, that's the spirit!"
Without hesitation, Seth Logan leaped out of the booth, sprinted downstairs, found the dancer Murphy had pointed at, slipped a few bills into her bra, and whispered a few words. The dancer extended her foot, and Seth Logan bent down, planting a kiss on it.
"Wow..." James Franco and Jonah Hill applauded vigorously, while Murphy cheered loudly. Downstairs, the crowd erupted into cheers.
Amidst the laughter and cheers, Seth Logan strutted back like a hero.
At this point, he turned to James Franco and Jonah Hill.
But the two seemed oblivious to Seth Logan's return. Jonah Hill picked up an empty bottle, turned it upside down, and pointed the mouth of the bottle at James Franco, adopting a interviewing tone, "May I ask, Mr. James Franco, the Oscar-winning actor, how did you embark on this artistic path?"
"That's a very romantic experience..." James Franco squinted his eyes, seemingly intoxicated by the falsehoods he was spinning. "Because my mother is a writer, and she met my father at an art school. Both of them are painters, so art has always been around in my life. I believe these things have always been in my consciousness, even before I truly engaged in them. Perhaps one of the reasons I didn't pursue them before the age of 14 was fear. Fear that I was too outstanding, too dazzling... It wasn't until a few years ago when I watched 'Titanic'. Why could a man who wasn't even as handsome as me become world-famous? I was certain I could do better than him."
Murphy pointed a finger at James Franco, the other hand propped on the table, laughing so hard his waist seemed unable to straighten.
"It's all nonsense!" Seth Logan exposed, his tone harsh. "Just a few days ago, you told me that you entered this circle because being a star is glamorous, earns a lot of money, and attracts many girls to admire you."
Setting down his glass, Seth Logan, whose attention was diverted by the change of topic, suddenly remembered something and shouted at James Franco and Jonah Hill, "You two shameless bastards, what about your kissing?"
Murphy joined in the teasing, "Seth, make them kiss in a special way!"
