A Battle Between The Ultimate Lifeform And The Spear Of Humanity... A Blue Hedgehog Saves The Day?

(POV: Shadow The Hedgehog)

I had faced many dangerous threats and powerful world-ending entities through out the universe, but... I felt something else from this Hedgehog that even the footage couldn't give as I saw him carelessly dangling a researcher's body... And I can't put it into words yet.

That was when the voice of the purple Hedgehog echoed out.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here more visitors to join the party hm? Why don't you come out and play." I had to tell Rouge to leave and call for help. He's giving me way too much anxiety for her to stay with whatever this thing is. He's not even trying to turn his head in our direction...

This could mean he's overconfident, but I think we walked into a problem.

"Rouge, run as far as you can and find Sonic and his friends... I'll hold him back for as long as I can..." I said to Rouge, but as she was about to argue, I promptly cut her off, as this wasn't to be argued about.

"NOW ROUGE, FLY AWAY!!" Rouge clicked her tongue and spoke before leaving.

"You better handle him, Shadow, after Sonic and his group arrive..." And Rouge left as I walked to the problemed Hedgehog waving around the researcher by the neck.

I was now a few meters away from the Hedgehog. When that happened, The Purple Hedgehog dropped the husk of his body, and like a flicker, his face turned to Shadow, with his neck cracking.

The Hedgehog spoke with a dreadful voice. His eyes glowed a dark hue of purple, and his pupils dilated like predators... 'What kind of experiment did these researchers even do?!?!?' I thought as I looked at Project Savior in front of me.

"Oh, well, look at that. Aren't you some hero or something? You so valiantly let your friend fly away to call in some backup as you fight me, probably!!" That smile of his feels entirely off... No, his entire mannerisms were off for something that was recently out of a bio pod. I spoke to him, as I needed to get a feel of what I was up against.

"Why did you do all of this? Why did you absorb them all?" I said; I couldn't forget how the researcher had been turned into a hollowed-out husk of his former self.

The Hedgehog tilted his head as he spoke with such 'innocence' in his tone as if he were doing something every day.

"Ah... That's because I can, so I did it to learn of those who kept me in a lab. What kind of question was that?" That answer hit like a flash bang as I sucked in some air; I think I'm done with talking; Sonic's better at that than me.

".... You know what... I can't let you leave here alive, 'Savior,'" I said as I prepared myself for this confrontation, and the purple Hedgehog smiled ear to ear as if baring his fangs as he replied.

"Well, don't you think Savior sounds a bit pretentious?? You could call me Indra.." At this point, there was no time for talking as I dashed at the project named now Indra, and I made my first move.

(General POV)

A red light streaked across the few meters from Indra, who was awaiting the strike. The strike, which was in the form of a fist, decked Indra's cheek, causing him to slide backward as his feet stood in place. Indra's feet, which were implanted into the ground, destroyed the flooring of the already messed up engine room.

It was now Indra's turn, as he turned into a darkish purple streak that moved like a wild animal, generating large fissures all over the place and forcing Shadow to become unbalanced for a brief second. 

Indra took the opportunity to copy Shadow as he was trying to punch Shadow's face, making Shadow's eyes widen in surprise as he blocked the punch, but the force induced such an effect that made him launch like a catapult.

*CRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

Shadow was flung like a rag doll as he was now falling into an ocean in the middle of nowhere, but with his air shoes, he was able to float just above the water.

The arms that he blocked with were still shivering from the force of the punch; he looked at his hands as he flexed them to calm his muscles down.

After that little break, he looked toward the direction of where Indra was, now assessing a new way to fight him other than brute force, as he lost miserably in that bout of strength.

That was when Shadow saw a purple light dashing toward him, making him slightly smirk as he said quietly. "You're quite the piece of work, Indra..."

Shadow got into a fighting style close to a karate stance in mid-air as he readied for another onslaught.

Indra was there within a moment as Shadow got into a stance and was about to land another blow, but Indra missed and was slammed by a spinning heel kick, which sent him flying backward.

*BOOOOMM!!!*

At this point, Shadow was focusing on capitalizing on Indra's lack of combat experience as he followed in for more counters, yet sadly for Shadow, that was all that Indra wanted.

The Purple hedgehog finally gained back his momentum without any injury at all, and a creepy aura of purple formed around him. His body began to float, and he began to chuckle as Shadow landed more hits and Indra's arms were down.

"Hehehe *CRACK* PHehehe* *BLAM* Is that all you got?~ *SIEK* Hmhmhmhmhmh!! *CRACK CRACK CRACK CRACK BOOM*"

It was a continuous onslaught from Shadow's side as Indra laughed on with glee until Shadow's final kick to the side of the face didn't make him move an inch...

"Thank you, Shadow. You've taught me quite a bit of your skillset. But please, do you call that a kick?" Indra, at that moment, ducked down and did a dancing capoeira kick that sent Shadow skidding down and, like a pebble, skipping on the ocean surface.

Indra now looked on at his marvelous work as Shadow the Hedgehog was kicked away.

Shadow's mind was in complete disarray from that one kick to the temple of his noggin. He was trying to snap out of it, but now he was wishing that he had a chaos emerald with him.

Then, he would have held on immeasurably longer. His body flew all the way out to Prison Island, which was now deserted, but with pure instinct and will, he stood back up even when his brain was in a mess.

His vision was blurry as he tried to snap out of his haze. But a purple hue in the distance was closing in on the Ultimate lifeform like a spearhead of a weapon, aiming at those who opposed him.

Shadow regained some of his sanity as he was planning to brawl this out as he stood on business...

As that purple light was so very close to Shadow, a blue light swept Shadow, catching him before the Purple Hedgehog was about to slam him into the waste dump of an island.

The blue Hedgehog then, with his immense, jumped up to the side wing of the airplane where Tails was flying as he carried Shadow, who was barely awake, said.

"Well, hey there, sleepy head!! I hope I didn't arrive at the party late!!" Said the blue Hedgehog to Shadow, who was going in and out of consciousness told him as he raised his hand to form a middle finger.

"You know what, Sonic... You... Take... Care... Of him, in my stead.... And also, screw you. Bleh," He spoke as he smiled when he passed out. Sonic The Hedgehog was on the scene. And he was confused as he felt a shiver when Shadow told him to take care of the problem...

(A/n: This is turning into this bastard running through a gauntlet of Sonic characters, and I find that kind of funny... The next chapter will be longer with in-depth of Sonic's crew of how they react to a violent energy signature and how both Sonic and Shadow have to fight him before Indra, the ADHD Lord, will finally get to his actual goal.. Sonic is going to be bullied, too...)
