Sonic Vs Indra? Shadow Unleashes his True Might, 2 Vs. 1

[Location: Green Hill Zone]

(3rd POV: Sonic The Hedgehog)

Sonic, the ever so carefree Hedgehog, was lying on the roof of his hut building with one leg crossed and his eyes closed like he was taking a nap.

Everything felt nice as Dr. Eggman went into his hidey-hole, but his disappearance created a bit of boredom, with the only thing to do was to lie down and relax.

Amy didn't help with the relaxing part for poor Sonic, but he had a knack for ignoring her most of the time. But today felt downright peculiar as he started to sense something amiss.

The Chaos emeralds were reacting to something like it was trying to protect themselves from something for a brief moment when Sonic tried to sense whatever the emeralds were responding to.

He then felt something that was oddly terrifying, as this force had a similar feeling to the Emeralds. Still, it was distorted in ways that made it seem unnatural in almost every way. Sonic tried to investigate this energy with his eyes closed while squinting harder.

Still, he felt something watching him as Sonic jolted up and looked around, his guard fully up, but nothing was there. Except for an ever-present dark shade, thin teeth apparition curiously staring at the Hedgehog as it disappeared just as quickly when Amy was running toward Sonic in a panic.

"SONIC!!! THERE'S TROUBLE GOING ON AT GUN FORTRESS!! TAILS WANT TO SEE YOU!!" She called out, now, giving the blue Hedgehog a bad premonition, but Sonic put that feeling in the back of his mind as he went to find tails with Amy in tow.

[Location: Tails Laboratory]

Tails, looking into his invention, a satellite with the ability to sense almost every energy through a holographic mapping system, saw a catastrophic amount of power accumulating in the direction of East, where the center of it all was GUN Fortress. 

Tails waited till both Amy and Sonic got here as he was nervously walking back in forth. The wait didn't take too long as Sonic got here first in a flash, and Sonic called out to Tails with the same carefree behavior he always had.

"Sup, Tails!!! I heard something happened to GUN Fortress. Should we go there now, or what? After Eggman went into his hiding place, things kind of got boring around here!!" He talked while jumping around and airboxing to the point his fists became blurred with his speed. Tails shook his head in worry as he broke the news.

"GUN Fortress looked like it got destroyed from what looked like an overload of artificial chaos energy!! And from the looks of it, we have to investigate what's happening!!! As the amount of that energy is already spreading across a huge part of a body of freaking ocean!! I've already found a device to contain the artificial Chaos, but something about this feels off, and I need you and Amy to come with me..." Sonic only needed to hear a little bit, and it was more than enough to join in.

"Well, of course, tails!! You can count on me!!!" Sonic said but changed in a serious tone for a bit.

"But... Let's bring the emeralds with us, just to make sure." Tail squinted his eyes but shook his head in agreement.

"Sure, Sonic, we can't be lax about this at all..." The solemn atmosphere broke as soon as Amy arrived, yelling.

"Don't forget about me, guys!!" Amy said with excitement, and with that, the three of them set out to GUN Fortress to meet a wild Hedgehog that would only cause everyone a colossal headache.

<20 minutes later>

All three of them were already halfway to GUN Fortress, with Sonic sitting on top of the plane's wing, Tails flying it, and Amy behind Tails. Both Sonic and Tails saw something on the horizon.

When they flew closer, they saw a person flying in their direction at considerable speed, and Amy Rose was the first one to say something out of surprise and a bit of worry for the person flying.

"Hey?!?! Isn't that Rouge?!?! She seems to be flying in our direction.." Sonic furrowed his eyes as she looked toward the flying bat lady, as a sinking feeling was creeping up on him slowly.

"Huh? Maybe the problem might be more than the artificial Chaos at this point if she's coming our way..." He said as that bad premonition from the back of his mind came back. Tails didn't disagree with Sonic's words, as this coincidence was too much. Tails said.

"Let's go help Rouge... She probably knows what's going on... She's flying in the direction of where we're heading to... Am I the only one here that feels like something's off with this entire situation?" He asked Sonic and Amy, and Sonic shook his head and told Tails.

"You're not the only one, Tails... Even before hearing about the random incident at the Fortress, something felt entirely off while I was relaxing on top of my roof. And honestly, I don't know if that feeling is related to what's happening right now." Tails only listened to Sonic while focused on flying to Rouge, and when they got closer, they all saw a look of desperation in her eyes as she spoke.

"Shadow is in trouble, and he needs help!!! He sent me off to find you guys while fighting someone who looked like a Hedgehog!!!" Rouge's words surprised them immediately, but they didn't have time to talk any longer, as Amy told Rouge.

"Get on the plane now, and help us find Shadow!! Do you have something like a tracker on him?!!" Rouge shook her head yes and threw it to Tails for him to link to his plane's tracking system. Without saying anything else, she landed on the other wing of the aircraft, and they took off at an even faster speed.

They arrived at Shadow's location, Prison Island. Sonic saw an injured Shadow barely holding on while in a combative state.

There were a few times when Sonic actually saw the black Hedgehog in such a sorry state, but he saw something that was going at sound-breaking speed toward Shadow in the form of a purple light, making Sonic's face pale a bit before taking action.

"Hold on, Shadow!! I got you!!" Sonic dashed as fast as he could when it was someone's life on the line. His entire body turned into a blue blur and crossed the distance.

*ZOOM*

He was able to grab Shadow, just narrowly getting caught by the purple streak as it ran past them. The part of the Island from the streak's path melted, creating melted fissures through a straight line and hitting a small mountain, causing that mountain to crumble away.

Sonic jumped back onto the plane on Rouge's side of the wing with the concussed Shadow and said, "Hey Rouge, take care of Shadow for me, will ya!! There's a Hedgehog I gotta go see for myself..." 

He handed her Shadow and turned to both Tails and Amy, "Tails... Keep the Chaos Emeralds around... And if he's anything like that green Hedgehog we met before, make sure to grab that transporter and send him to another universe if he's too much... And Amy, protect Tails as best as you can. I know you can do it." He spoke with an easygoing smile to both of them.

Tails also smiled and said, "I do still have those emeralds with me, and you could use them if he's too strong... But that transporter? I would have to fly back to Green Hill to get that back, and making another one from scratch will take a while." Sonic only shrugged his shoulders without saying anything, and Amy excitedly said.

"And don't worry about Tails Sonic!! I'll protect him. She said while pumping her arms. Sonic sighed a bit, then turned to Rouge, who was now taking care of Shadow, she said to Sonic.

"Don't worry about me or Shaow Sonic, and focus on that monster down there... And be careful, too, when fighting the Hedgehog.." She said her worries, making Sonic look at the injured Shadow one last time, and ran down to find the purple streak that destroyed the landfilled mountain.

(3rd POV: Indra Brahma Tattvas)

With his enhanced eyesight, Indra sat cross-legged upon all of the Rubble, staring at Sonic and his friends, just talking without a care in the world as if friendship was magical or something. I mean, please bring Gege here to ruin that. If Indra weren't patient or amused with them talking, he would have catapulted himself and destroyed that aircraft.

He also finally sensed those Chaos emeralds hidden somewhere, either within the aircraft or within some technology that could contain them like a small pocket realm.

But that wasn't the only thing that interested Indra, as something very far away was scoping out this Universe other than himself. Indra sensed that they were demonic in nature in every possible way. Still, Indra didn't care about them yet as he watched on as they all talked.

Watching them be pals and talk like some shonen crap made Indra sigh and start humming something in Latin while speaking, "Cogito ergo sum... I think so; therefore, I am..." When he said that, a darker shade of purple aura was released around him, like a dense smog, like a violent wind.

But that violent aura stopped an instant with Sonic's arrival in front of Indra. Both of them stared at each other for a bit longer, especially Sonic, who felt a deja vu: "Ummm.... Dude, have we met somewhere? Like, when I was sleeping on top of the roof of a hut or something, you're already giving me the same chills!?!" 

Indra thought for a moment with his hand on his chin and then said to Sonic, "Most probably, but if I explained, it would probably be too complicated, and you'd probably sock me in the jaw while talking... I can see that you're excited to fight, so let us fight." 

He then stood up from sitting cross-legged and stretched his vessel of a body, making Sonic even more excited as he went to a battle stance, or racing stance, "Now that's what I'm talking about!!! I'm starting to like you a bit!!" His words made Indra squint one eye with suspicion and said.

"Really? Even after what I did with Shadow?" He said, but Sonic, with a carefree smile, told to him.

"Oh... No, not really; it's more like neutral already, and I don't really have any context of what you are exactly or what you've done in GUN Fortress, but I still want to be the crap out of you because of what you've done to Shadow, so let's get started!!" Indra's eyes widened but hid his laughter as he thought.

'Oh, if only he knew~.' He then said to Sonic with a light smile, "Gladly." With that, both blurred at speeds that made the ground even more broken. Sonic punched first, but Indra dodged that punch, slithered around him, and side-kicked him to the ribs, making him fly. The impact made Sonic grimace in pain while yelling out.

"AGAAAAAAAAA!!! FUUUUUUU-!!" But Indra didn't give Sonic a break at all, as he went faster to get close to the Hedgehog who was flying away, grabbed his face, smashed it to the ground, and ran Sonic through the floor of the Island and across the ocean almost like he was being waterboarded at super speeds as Indra smiled just as carefreely as Sonic did at the plane with his friends.

Sonic's only sound is a series of raging gurgling sounds as he is being dragged to another continent.

(3rd POV: Tails)

Tails looked at the passing Sonic as he would go and face this new 'enemy' as he sighed and looked at Rouge, "Both you and Shadow should know who or what we're dealing with here... I mean, I think Sonic should be able-!!!!"

"AGAAAAAAAAA!!! FUUUUUUU-!!"

Tails were interrupted by a scream and saw Sonic flying away like a rag doll, and then a purple blur grabbed Sonic's face and started dragging him on the ground to the point of destroying the already brittle Island and across the water to who knows where.

All of them witnessed that, with Amy turning pale and Tail's mouth widening in complete shock, as sure there were times when Sonic was humiliated before, but this was complete bullshit, making Tails yell out. "WHO THE HELL IS SONIC FIGHTING!!!!" 

Rouge looked at Tails with a bleak look and said to him, "Sonic's child, Shadow's child, and Silver's child mixed together..." Tails, who heard that, looked like they had eaten a bunch of raw lemons in a bucket, while Amy, who was listening, screamed in a bloody rage.

"WHAT IN THE ACTUAL EVER LIVING, FUUUUUUUCK!!!" Amy's yell made Shadow stir up a bit in a comatose state.

(POV: Shadow The Hedgehog)

'What am I doing?' Shadow thought as he was in darkness.

'Oh, I was fighting my own son... Or is it... That Hedgehog gives me too many weird vibes... But dammit!!! I should go back and fight!! I'm the Ultimate lifeform!! Not that damn carbon copy of a lab experiment!! Spear Of Humanity, my ass, he's a nightmare to humanity, and I'm not going to let this humiliation go!!!!' With his declaration, outside of his comatose state, his body was slowly releasing his potential, and the Chaos emeralds were glowing within the pocket realm while Rouge was explaining what went on during the GUN Fortress incident.

(General POV)

[Location: Near Sandopolis]

Finally, in a deserted biome, Indra was still dragging him across the sand and finally threw him like a frisbee as his body spun around. As soon as he hit the ground, he bounced off like a rock thrown on a lake, skipping and rolling.

Now covered in sand, he was coughing and hacking out seawater that got into his mouth.

*HAAC GUUU*

He coughed out one final time, and surprise, surprise, Indra was right in front of Sonic. He said to Sonic, "Well now~ How was your short break? Let's go for round 2." Sonic, hearing that, barely dodged another face grab and tried landing a blow to the chin with an uppercut. Indra dodged that at breath-neck speed, squatted down low, and tried a spinning sweep, with Sonic jumping up in the air to dodge and did a front spinning kick in the air to kick Indra's skull, but that kick was blocked.

Both Hedgehogs moved all over the place in the desert biome, creating dust storms with their every movement in their battle. Still, Indra finished things off with a simple front kick to Sonic's stomach, another painful blow that sent him flying and rolling across the sand floor; as Sonic was trying to get up, Indra stood in front of the blue Hedgehog and grabbed the top of his head, telling Sonic.

"So... Any other plan you had with your friends, or were you waiting for someone's arrival?" Indra said to Sonic, Sonic smiled and said.

"Well, I mean, yeah... I think he'll be here any time..." Indra listening to Sonic, had the eldritch Hedgehog pumped up.

"Well then!!! The more, the merrier, then!!" As Indra said that, he heard a scream not too far away, as something was flying toward them both.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!! I'M THE ULTIMATE WEAPON!!! NOT A FAILED REJECT LIKE YOU, INDRA!!!" And there was Shadow, who glowed a red aura as he approached Indra and punched Indra, who blocked the punch but was flown away from the power of said punch. Shadow wasn't finished, as he said.

[Chaos Control] 

Shadow teleported in front of Indra and landed even more decisive blows, and the final blow hit him high up in outer space. Now that Indra was temporarily gone, Shadow used Chaos control one more time and said something to Sonic.

"We need to transform to our super forms now, Sonic, before he comes back before-?????" Shadow was interrupted by Indra speaking far away from both Sonic and Shadow as that blasted purple Hedgehog came back from outer space

"Wow Shadow!!! Where the hell was that from?!?!? I mean, you could've done something like that in your first fight with me, so if you could satiate my curiosity, why didn't you use it then?" Shadow looked at Indra floating in the air and said, while he was putting his rings back on his wrist.

"Well, to put it simply, using that power of mine would injure me if I used it for too long..." Shadow said as he turned into gold as he continued to speak.

"But my reasoning shouldn't matter, as I'm here to beat you, Indra." Sonic got up as he was stretching his neck, and he also turned golden.

"Just like my pal Shadow said!! We're here to fight." Sonic, who said that, was interjected by Shadow.

"No, Sonic, We're to beat the shit out of him... Or did you forget the fact that you had your ass kicked all the way here?" Sonic frowned at Shadow but didn't say anything else as both Sonic and Shadow put their focus on the Hedgehog in the sky. But Indra laughed at their notion.

"Hehehe.... HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA, Now then, that's what I'm talking about!!!! Let's play this little game of ours before I actually start finding something I want from this multiverse."

Indra said that and exploded in his transformation, turning his physical body into a formless purple matter of pure energy that still looked like a Hedgehog. As his aura exploded, the souls of those from GUN Fortress were right within the aura in the form of heads.

Those souls came as a shock to Sonic, and Shadow looked on with the same cold stone look as this time; both were going to fight together.
