Deploying

"How is such a thing possible? How can your Midi-Chlorian count change?"

Silas's amused expression didn't falter as he silently stood their for a few seconds with his usual smile.

Until finally replying, "Hmmm...

Nahh, I don't feel like telling you."

....

...

..

Shaak Ti's brow twitched once hearing his response, "I suppose you won't give me an exception?" She smiled awkwardly.

Silas chuckled, "We're not even that close, regardless of my intentions toward you."

She sighed inwardly, 'Why am I even asking? He's right, we're far from close, it's clearly none of my business... Yet even though I say such things, I feel so curious about this man's life. What has he gone through to become who he is today? And what more is he hiding?'

Smiling slightly she said, "I apologize for being intrusive, I was being noisy. How about starting with sharing a drink?"

Silas seemed pleased, "I didn't think a Jedi would drink, you sure that's alright with you?"

Shaak Ti nodded, "Their is no rule stating we can't drink, and since I'm currently not active in the war, it should be fine."

And then without hesitation Silas picked up a bottle of whiskey and flamboyantly flipped it around, throwing it up, catching it smoothly, before pouring it into her cup steadily.

Clap!

Clap!

She clapped in entertainment, causing Silas to lightly laugh.

They enjoyed the rest of the night in each other's presence, filled with a cheerful atmosphere.

[Palpatine POV]

In the Chancellor's red designed office was Palpatine staring out into the city, and behind him was his assistant.

"You said you wanted to speak with me earlier?" Palpatine asks with a neutral expression as he gazed toward the dark skies of Corsucant.

"Sir I have investigated your inquiries on the Senate's abrupt change of decision on the Clones Right Act."

Palpatine nodded without looking back, indicating he could continue.

"It seems during the night before voting, some of the senator's children were reported to be missing, but it was swiftly recounted to be a miscommunication. While in other instances senators seemingly got a wire transfer of a substantial amount from unmarked bank accounts."

A sinister smile couldn't help but appear on Palpatine's face, 'As expected, he'll do what's necessary in order to get his way.'

"What of the children? Were any harmed?" He asked, finally turning around and sitting down behind his desk.

"No sir, all children seemed completely fine."

Palpatine just hummed in thought, "If that's all, you may leave."

His assistant seemed rather apprehensive as he remained still, "Sir if I may?"

Palpatine noticed his intention of wanting to talk, so with a simple shake of his head, he confirmed.

"Sir, you should know that the prime suspect of this situation is General Raven, he has the power and influence to do such a thing. It's not a coincidence that children of the senate went missing on the day before the vote, neither is the random wire transfers a coincidence. He most likely threatened the children lives and forced the senators to-"

Palpatine raised a swift hand, stopping him from speaking anymore.

"Do you have evidence for these accusations?"

The blue skinned assistant could only stay silent at the question.

All the witnesses explained that it was all an misunderstanding, but he knew Silas probably used some force tricks on them to manipulate them, nevertheless he had no evidence at all.

"You have no evidence... And that's the point, he didn't attempt to hide his actions because he understood that if he simply destroyed all evidence, then it would be impossible for us to incriminate him. Regardless, he did something necessary with good intentions, even you can't simply chalk that up to him being evil."

His assistant just sighed with a reluctant nod.

But Palpatine continued to speak, "However, if you do find evidence, send it to me directly, and not to anyone else."

The assistant nodded before exiting the room, leaving Palpatine alone in his chair.

'You truly are a magnificent creation, one's who's ideologies aligns with the Sith. But you still need a little push to truly go overboard, and I shall wait patiently for that time, my young General...'

And time flew by in seemingly an instant, as the day for deployment arrived, the 501st and 1st Legions were finally permitted to enter battle.

Silas currently was back in his golden armor, with a black cloak over him, his figure walked with a rather quick yet firm pace through the large Jedi hallways.

[Silas's Armor]

And the Jedi themselves would instinctively make space because of his imposing presence.

Until finally he stopped infront of two doors, before opening them and entering the Jedi Council room.

He walked to the center of the room, and glanced around amusingly at the surrounding Jedi Masters who sat calmly, seemingly awaiting him.

"Have you been doing good General?" Plo-Koon seemed to be the first to speak.

Silas shrugged, "You know how it is Master Plo, always busy."

Plo-Koon nodded with a slight smile at his rather relaxed attitude.

Windu was the next to speak, "We know you're being deployed today, so we'll keep this brief General Raven."

Silas couldn't help but smile behind his golden visor, the Jedi constantly summoned him in the past two weeks, however he was always seemed to be 'busy' up until today.

Which the Jedi clearly understood he did on purpose, nonetheless they were a patient group so they didn't mind much.

Kit Fisto continued for Windu as he said, "If possible, would it be alright with you to explain your situation about your increasing Midi-Chlorian Count?"

Silas tilted his head curiously, "What are you talking about?"

Windu furrowed his brows as he decided to resumed the conversation, "We have seen data that's showed your Midi-Chlorian Count increasing over time. And were wondering if you could elaborate on that?"

Silas hummed in apparent confusion, "Increasing Midi-Chlorian Count? That's possible?... Well anyways I don't know where you got your data, but it seems faulty."

All the Jedi in the room couldn't help but knit their brows in skepticism.

"Are you insinuating that your Midi-Chlorian Count hasn't increased?" Windu questioned further with obvious doubt.

"I'm saying I have no clue what your talking about, If I remember correctly I had 15,000, wait, maybe I had 30,000, actually maybe it was 100,000?" He continued to mumble with sarcasm laced in his tone.

"General! This is not the time to play games." Windu in his usual stern expression was practically glaring at Silas.

And as he was going to continue to press on, Yoda raised a hand in indication to stop.

"Young Raven, trust us you do not." He remarked calmly.

Silas just stayed silent, not attempting to retort it.

"Understand I do, strangers we are to you. However, work together we must, for peace to ensue in the galaxy." Yoda serenely urged.

Silas sighed with a helpless smirk, 'I can't blame them for their wariness of me, if my goal was to align with the Sith ideologies, I could very well backstab them. So their trying to probe my exact intentions, which are currently unknown to them.'

And as Silas was about to speak he was interrupted by a noise.

Beep!

Beep!

Glancing down at his comlink on his wrist, he realized it was time to leave.

"Well unfortunately guys I have to go, so we'll have to continue this lovely conversation another day."

"Have a nice day!" With a simple wave goodbye, his figure abruptly disappeared.

Leaving the Jedi in surprise, as the majority of them couldn't even perceive his speed.

Windu, Yoda, Plo-Koon and Kit Fisto seemed to be the only ones unimpressed at such speeds.

'He's fast...' Kit Fisto thought inwardly.

'As expected.' Plo-Koon mused.

'He's dangerous.' Windu's frown deepened, but once glancing toward Yoda's peaceful figure, he promptly regained his composure.

'I can only hope that the savior of my life is someone that can be trusted.'

Back with Silas, he was already out of the Jedi Temple, and walking through the gray colored hallways of Coruscant's Main Military Installment.

After a few more minutes, he finally exited a door that had a small balcony.

Stepping outside, he looked down as thousands of troops were lined up, with Acclamator Ships all around them.

They stood in square formations, and were all facing his direction.

Silas couldn't help but take in a cool breath, before stepping up on to the ledge of his balcony as he gazed down at the troops.

But one thing that seemed different was their armor, specifically Silas's legion's armor.

It was comprised of black striped clone armor, and it was going to be his legions designated color. Their were different variations if you were a commander or captain, etc, but regardless they were all black striped.

Silas's usual nonchalant expression was gone, as he shouted out while enhancing the sound, "Listen to me my brothers! Today is the day we officially enter the war! Today we stand at the threshold of history where our bravery will resound through the ages! We will decimate all those who oppose the Republic! Any Separatist will have no mercy from us! But we are not just soldiers, we are guardians of liberty, the sentinels of justice, and the champions of peace!"

His voice echoed in the quiet atmosphere as the clones continued to listen.

"Look deep into your souls! Your will, and hearts will be tested from henceforth! But do not fret! You have your brothers beside you! You have your General beside you! So never relent!"

Silas continued to roar passionately, "Let each of us be a beacon of fear for the Separatists! Yet a beacon of hope for the Republic! For every sacrifice we make, let it be known that our actions today shall shape a brighter future!"

"So I implore you, my fellow warriors, to march forward with valor in your heart! As we shall etch our names into the annals of history! For victory is not a destination, but a journey fueled by the flames of resilience and fervor of our unyielding spirit!" He loudly finished with an exhale of a breath.

And not even a second later, the thousands of clones extended their fists upward!

"For the Republic!"

"For the Republic!"

"For the Republic!"

The ground itself was shaking under the erupting cheers.

And soon after they started marching into Acclamators and Gunships.

Silas himself smirked with a proud expression,

"Those fucking Separatists are screwed!"

Marking his words, this would very well commence the turning point of the war, and Darth Sidious himself would regret releasing Silas Raven.
