CHAPTER 6 – THE GOD AND THE SAGE –

MC POV

"I see. Let's do this." (Hashirama)

'ha that was exhausting, was I always this smart and why did I even agree to do this and although I put Tobirama out of the plan he didn't refute my claim of his character'

I wonder if he is really smart or too stupid I thought looking at Hashirama in front of me brimming with energy and motivation not in the least bit worried about his foretold death and the destruction of his clan all ready to go all out for that glimmer of hope for the survival of those that he can save and I suddenly realize that it was his charisma and that sheer will to burn his life for the smallest of hopes to illuminate the future that I agreed to help him try this without thinking.

'Now that I am going to do, I will do my best.'

"By the way, I forgot to ask your name what is it?" (Hashirama)

'Is he joking? What was my name again? huh? HUH?' and then I suddenly realized I don't have a name all the summon beasts call me human or human cub, oh well I'll just ask him for one.

"I don't have a name. Why don't you give me one?"

"You don't have a name? You just realized that didn't you? HA HA HA HA" (Hashirama)

"You! Are you mocking me?"

"Alright! Alright! I'll stop laughing. Fine since you are smart and you will be the guide of my people from this day onward you are the godson of Senju Hashirama, The Hermit(sage) of Senju, Senju Sen." (Hashirama)

"OY! I never agreed to be your godson."

"Are you sure?" (Hashirama)

"Argh fine. Senju Sen it is, mark my words I will milk all the resources of the Senju clan."

"If that's what you want do it, I will leave all the clan has to offer for you." (Hashirama)

'I don't think he is lying, so this is the breath of the shinobi god he doesn't see the wealth, the fame and the power all he sees are the people.'

"Alright, whatever I am tired and I am going to sleep."

"Okay, let's go. To konoha." (Hashirama)

"Oi! What part of if I leave the forest I die did you not understand."

"Why what's the problem?" (Hashirama)

"You should look at him after using sage mode and you will understand Hashirama-sama."(Katsuyu)

""HUH!!!"" (Hashirama/MC)

"It's lady katsuyu. Phew." (Hashirama)

'That scared me I forgot about her being here.'

"Lady katsuyu I request you to keep the discussions of today a secret as much as you can."(Hashirama)

"Sure."(Katsuyu)

Katsuyu POV

'That was one interesting discussion, and their shocked expressions were quite amusing. So he knows about the trends of the future and the child of prophecy, how intriguing but more interesting is the name he was given 'sage (sen)' To be given the name of sage of something carries weight as the fate linked with that name entangle with his, I wonder how the world will be when both the one that is supported by the current of destiny(child of prophecy) and the one that can change its current(sage) come together.'

Hashirama POV

I quickly entered sage mode as suggested by Lady Katsuyu and I was shocked I sensed what was supposed to be the body of a child lacking a lot of lifeforce for someone alive supported by bits of natural energy and chakra.

It was like someone who was supposed to be long dead living by borrowing one breath at a time half from his already dead mother and half from the world itself prolonging his presence in the realm of living a miracle given life by his mother, the nature and his determination to survive and I knew what I had to do.

"I think I now know why you can't leave the forest so I will do what I can, I will be opening your chakra network so that your chakra will alleviate some burden from your mother's body, thereby giving you more time." (Hashirama)

I stood up and moved behind him placed my hand on his back and got ready.

"By the way I have been meaning to ask you this but why does your crib look like a throne?" (Hashirama)

" Because I made it to resemble one."

"Why?" (Hashirama)

"Well, I wanted to feel like the lord of the forest."

"pfft" (Hashirama)

"Laugh all you want but I tell you one day I will build a castle for myself, I will be so rich that I will be able to buy countries."

"Pfft. Hahahahaha." (Hashirama)

"Hmph."

"Okay let's start now," I said as I quickly pushed my chakra into his body it was a delicate task as I had to control my chakra to not harm him as I opened his chakra network. The whole process took about an hour and I am glad his body did not reject my chakra more like he absorbed it like a sponge.

MC POV

As I sensed his chakra enter my body and open various passages in my body I felt my body absorbing his chakra and I felt my body condition getting better as I checked my body I felt signs of my body going into hibernation so I quickly called out-

"Oy godfather listen carefully I don't have much time as I will go unconscious soon, I will tell you what to do now first ask godmother to develop a seal to seal a jutsu inside and use it to store as many tree world arrival and great waterfall jutsu you can, find the furthest deserted land in the land of wind, place a marker ther and bury as much trees in the sand as you can but nothing above the sand bury them at least 20m underground and do it as soon as you can, now oyasumi(goodnight)."

-and then I fell unconscious.
