CHAPTER 5 – PEACE, DESTINY AND POSSIBILITIES

Hashirama POV

As I sat in front of the child I felt myself calm down as if his existence provided tranquillity to nature and the environment near him like all the troubles I was having were pushed away in his presence.

And so I started speaking

"Let me introduce myself my name is Hashirama." (Hashirama)

"I know."

"Ah right lady Katsuyu just called my name! I belong to the clan-" (Hashirama)

"Senju, is that correct?"

"Did lady Katsuyu tell you about me before?" (Hashirama)

"No, I have never talked about Hashirama-sama."(Katsuyu)

"So who told you about me? Did you hear about it before coming to shikkotsu forest? " (Hashirama)

"No, Hashirama-sama his mother gave birth here and passed away just after. "

"Ha ha...Then who told him stories about me has my fame spread so far?" (Hashirama)

"No one told me about you."

"Then how do you know about me?" (Hashirama @_@)

"I just have this knowledge like it's always been there your name just made me remember."

"Interesting, I have a feeling you're not lying, then tell me what you know and we'll see the authenticity of it maybe it will give us a perspective so that we can trace it back to it's source." (Hashirama)

"Ugh!"

"What is it?" (Hashirama)

"How did you suddenly become so smart?"

"Ha HA HA I have always been sharp, whatever you go on."

'He didn't notice being called stupid in a roundabout manner.' (katsuyu/mc)

"So here's what I know, Senju Hashirama born in the Senju clan one of the oldest ninja clans, during the warring states period where they were unrivalled in combat except for the Uchiha as their equal, have a younger brother tobirama.

Born in the same period as the Uchiha prodigies Madara and Izuna, childhood friends and rivals with Madara Uchiha sharing the same dream to bring peace to the ninja world, your younger brother fatally wounded Izuna in a battle who later passed away succumbing to the injuries, after few years tired of battle both you and Madara joined hands to establish hidden leaf village to bring peace to the ninja world given the moniker Ninja God and Ninja Shura respectively.

With you becoming the First Hokage despite you wanting otherwise, you want to maintain peace in the ninja world but the tides of destiny were not in your favour."

"Huh? What do you mean?" (Hashirama)

"What did I say something wrong?"

"No, what you said is correct but what does destiny not favouring me mean?" (Hashirama)

"It means what I said that after some time wars will eventfully break out."

"That won't happen I'll be there to stop it." (Hashirama)

"But what if you're not there?"

"Then Tobirama will do it in my stead." (Hashirama)

"He can't, there is only one shinobi god."

"I see, what else can you tell me?" (Hashirama)

"Well wars will happen and kekkei genkais will be feared and shinobi clans with blood limits will be hunted till only a few remain."

"What happens to the Senju in the future?" (Hashirama)

"There is no Senju in the future."

"The Uzumaki didn't help?" (Hashirama)

"They were gone before Senju."

"Why?" (Hashirama)

"The tides of destiny are against them, you can't stand against the current."

"What is this current of destiny?" (Hashirama)

"There are many factors which when working in conjunction create what I call the tide of destiny which makes certain choices or events inevitable.

Hmm… Let me ask you a question. Why were you able to establish one country one shinobi village system? "

" Because me and Madara joined hands with a lot of strong clans to do it." (Hashirama)

"Why did they join you?"

"Because they wanted peace." (Hashirama)

"Exactly, Because of a few hundred years spent fighting they were tired and sick of it so THE DESIRE OF MASSES was in your favor.

Because you and Madara the two strongest people who far outclassed the rest and your clans and many others joined the factor of STRENGTH was in your favor so were the merchants and the nobles who wanted prosperity by limiting the battle so almost everyone was in favor of ONE CHOICE which turned the tide of destiny in your support, now that the purpose is achieved the factors that united the tide to you are falling apart and human greed and desires will shift its direction."

"So you mean peace is impossible?" (Hashirama)

"I never said that."

"But you said factors are falling apart and destiny isn't with me." (Hashirama)

"But I never said they can't be united again and I said your destiny is falling apart, your role is done bringing peace isn't your destiny, it belongs to someone else."

"So the clans are bound to disappear?" (Hashirama)

"Not if they have the strength to suppress the world, which is almost impossible."

"Can't they be saved?" (Hashirama)

"Hmm…..the clans will all disappear yes, but their survival is possible, difficult but possible."

"But you said the current of destiny is against them and I don't think people will stop coming after them."(Hashirama)

"Destiny is like a river, where the weak find it hard to go against the flow and if they stand in the way of the current they drown. I can't stop the flow of history from sinking them if they are in the open all I can offer is a place to hide till the storm dies down."

"How?" (Hashirama)

"The clans disappearing from the shinobi world doesn't mean the need to die, just look like they died and make everyone believe it."

"You got a plan?" (Hashirama)

"yes"

"Great! Let's go to Konoha and discuss with Tobirama he will surely be of help." (Hashirama)

"No."

"Why?" (Hashirama)

"Two reasons, First I can't leave the forest or I will die. Second, Tobirama is paranoid aside from you he doesn't trust anybody and he believes in his intelligence way too much and is too unwilling to lose.

While I will try to save as many as possible he will try to save everyone he wants and in his confidence, he will slip up somewhere and expose everyone we hid and then the world will be messed up."

"So it's just two of us?" (Hashirama)

"No, we will need the help of one other person who is more reliable and important?"

"Who? More than Tobirama?" (Hashirama)

"Your wife Mito Uzumaki. We will need her help."

"I see. Let's do this." (Hashirama)
