Vampire Downfall

"Hold him still. I will kill him!" Kur spoke with such confidence that even the Vampire thought it was assuming. 

"So you are this monsters master huh?" The Vampire finally spoke. "You did well to craft such a being, but this will be your end. I will kill you and raise you back as an undead thrall. Your secrets of creating a cultivating machine will be mine!" 

The Vampire charged forward at the two! Alduin lunged forward, but the 3 tails of the monster pushed him to the side. His target was his master, not the dragon. As soon as Alduin was out of the way Kur launched a [Gravity Blade]! The Vampire sensed nothing from the long 10ft long purple energy and simple imbued one of his shadow hands with mana. He swatted at the blade only to shriek in pain! 

"AARRRRGGGGHHHHH!" That blade had cut off his hand! He quickly dodged it and grabbed his shadow limb. Darkness began to flow out of the stump like blood. The Vampire turned his gaze back to Kur. He had truly underestimated this person! He was furious and slightly fearful!

With the [Embodiment of the Dark Lord] skill he was at the peak of the Nascent realm and on the threshold of the Paramount realm. A simple attack from Kur shouldn't have hurt him unless the new enemy was in the Paramount realm themselves! 

He had another trump card up his sleeve, but he had to be quick in this fight. His [Embodiment of the Dark Lord] drained a lot of his mana every second, but could be countered to an extent. He was using the energy still in his undead to fuel his skill. That came with a down side. His undead were naturally weaker and they would grow weaker till they died. And if they were killed while this technique was active the drain would increase also. If he needed to his gamble would instantly kill all the undead under his command and fuel him!

He was hesitant in doing so. It would also kill the undead under his command on other planets. Granted he would rather they die and some of his plans be pushed back than to face death himself. He decided he would save that trick if he truly needed it. 

He quickly used some of his mana, and the energy of the undead under his command, to heal himself. "That's a dangerous trick" he spoke calmly. "Too bad I won't let you do that again! [Darkness Grasp]!"

Soon the shadows around Kur began to rise turning into a sea of tentacles of darkness. They were thin and long strands of darkness. One quickly reached up and grabbed Kur's arm. He could tell it wasn't strong enough to hold him, but more and more began to restrain him. He quickly realized it was not their strength that was dangerous, but their numbers!

"MASTER!" Alduin yelled as he got up. He tackled the Vampire who had his sights set on Kur. 

CRASH

The Vampire slammed into the wall creating another large indent as Alduin began to bite at him. Just as his teeth were about to sink into the Vampire 2 of the shadow hands stopped him. Another 4 arms simultaneously punched Alduin's ribs and body. More ribs broke, but he wasn't thrown away. The 3 tails wrapped around Alduin and held him still. He couldn't escape and only suffer blow after blow. 

Kur paused for a moment. He wanted to laugh. This was the Vampires technique to stop him? These shadow hands were scary in number, but they did nothing but hold him still! They didn't drain any energy or mana or whatever from him. Although, he did think he should replicate this type of technique with his gravity skills. 

With his body restricted Kur simply opened his hand and used his [Gravity Pull] skill. The Vampire, while fighting Alduin, could sense his body being pulled, but easily resisted it. He could feel it getting slightly stronger and turned his attention to Kur, who he had restrained. Only to see Kur flying directly at him! 

PUNCH

Kur had sucker punched the Vampire! He was sent to the ground. He was no expecting Kur to have such physical strength to rival his own! It was like he had to face a dragon and a person with the same strength. As Alduin was released he raised his arms, clasped his hands together and slammed the Vampire down into the ground. 

His tails moved in unison and Alduin to push him off of him, but Kur was ready! Another [Gravity Blade] sailed through the air cutting all 3 tails just as they grabbed Alduin! The Vampire cried out in pain and went into a frenzy! Two pairs of shadow arms pushed himself up as he struck at both Alduin and Kur! 

Both of them were knocked back and crashed into the wall on the opposite side of the room. "Enough of this game! [Darkness Sword]!" The Vampires shadows arms condoned themselves and flowed into his normal arms.

They flowed like water over his body as they reshaped into a long sharp longsword. It almost looked like the blade was made of both obsidian and black fire. 

He raised the sword up and slashed downward. A vertical wave of darkness flew at the two. They rolled to either side dodging the energy wave, but the Vampire had followed his attack and was on top of the two. His target was Kur and brought his sword down on him. Quickly reacting Kur used [Gravity Condense] to move the sword only inches away from him. 

He narrowly dodged the sword with his skill. Seeing an opening Alduin swiped his tail at the Vampire's feet. He lost his balance as his feet was pulled from underneath him. Alduin jumped on top of his and sunk his teeth into the Vampires neck! No blood oozed out, only darkness. The Vampire pulled his arms back and thrusted behind him, stabbing Alduin in the shoulder with the blade.

"AGHHHHH" he cried out as he let go of the Vampires neck and bit the blade instead. "MOW MAMTER" he spoke in a muffled voice. 

SLICE

A [Gravity Blade] sliced through the Vampires neck completely decapitating it! The Vampire tried to yell out, but only gargled sounds escaped his mouth. The head rolled a distance away as the two watched. Once the head stopped they sighed a heave in relief. Their bodies relaxed and they noticed how tense they were in the fight. 

The two took a moment to rest, but they both quickly noticed something. They could still hear fighting the sound of the Juggernauts rotary guns firing! Once the Vampire was dead wouldn't the undead die immediately after as well? Their eyes widened as they turned their heads. They watched in horror as the chest of the Vampires giant body began to heave up and down. Faster and faster like something was trying to break out. 

RIPPPPP

"Do you think I would die so easily?!" The Vampire took a deep breath between each word. He was filled with nothing but rage! "If you kill me my Master will know and they will hunt you down to the ends of the universe! When they find-!"

SHWING

A [Gravity Blade] fly at high speeds decapitating him. His head slowly fell off his body as his whole world was turned upside down. "Never let them finish talking" Kur spoke to Alduin. "If you let them finish talking they will do something that might end up killing you." Alduin nodded and locked it in his mind. Any thing his Master would teach him would shape him.

Seeing as the Vampire was killed Kur slumpt down on the ground and took a moment to rest. His attention was drawn to a notification from his System.

WOOASH

Both Alduin and Kur felt a wave of energy wash over their bodies. They looked towards the center gate where they felt the energy came from. Behind it they could see a large 5ft tall 4ft wide black crystal. It looked like a diamond as it floated in the air above the pedestal. It slowly drifted away from the pedestal and towards the two. When it reached the gate purple and black bolts of lighting arched out of the crystal. 

As the bolts touched the gate it immediately melted! The center of the gate melted allowing the large crystal to pass through. When it was only a few feet away from Kur he stood up and out stretched his hand. More arch's of lightning shot out, yet never melted his armor on contact. Almost sensing that this is where it should go it floated closer towards and stopped once it was hovering above the palm of his hand.

His eyes almost popped out of his head! Although he was too exhausted to actually react. His mind began to wonder if he absorbed the Dark Star Heart if it would affect his cultivation. Wait he could just asked his system!

Normally if one was able to absorb the Dark Star Heart they would be resetting their cultivation level. With my help you will just strengthen your cultivation instead]

The System seemed to be bragging about what it can do for him. He was already used to how it talked and accepted to absorb the crystal. As soon as he did the Dark Crystal Heart shattered into millions of tiny pieces.

They flew directly at Lucas! They ignored and phased through his Kur suit and into him! 

Once they reached him inside the suit they phased through his skin and entered his body! It was like millions of shards of icy-hot glass flowing through is body. One second his body felt like it was in the snow with razors flowing through his body and the next it felt like burning lava.

"AGGHHHHHHH" He screamed in pain as he fell to his knees. Wave after wave of heat and cold washed over his body. It felt like hours as he endured the pain. What he didn't know was it wasn't his body absorbing the power, but his soul. It was binding to his very being. Something he couldn't control just yet!
