Reincarnated in Naruto as/with Sakura?

This is my first fanfic. It's pretty bad and only gets good from the 160th chapter. I hope you have fun reading! Synopsis. Truck-kun works again to send another soul to the Isekai post office to be sent to the Naruto world but our MC feels something strange and finds out there's someone else here with him! A/N : This book will be put on hiatus going forth since I want to rewrite the book due to improving over time while writing this book. A/N: The MC is a researcher at heart and wants to explore the world of Naruto with his own knowledge combined with what is possible in Naruto. There will be quite a bit of fan fiction behind the theory of the jutsus. Part one deals exclusively with setting up the relationships between the characters and reads more like a slice of life story, while part two will deal with the enemy of the novel and is more action and planning oriented. THINGS TO NOTE THAT PEOPLE COMMONLY DON'T LIKE! -MC shared body with Sakura for a few chapters. -MC 'reveals' his past life to one other person. (Nothing really negative happens because of it, though. I think so.) -Things in the first part are too 'reasearchy'? Too much depth in jutsus. -No Shadow Clone Jutsu. None of the characters are mine, except the OC's. The images are generated using AI. A Twist.

Megumi looked at the shinobi teaching them about group fight tactics as his mouth extended into a low yawn he was trying his best to control.

'Even Sasuke fell asleep. How am I supposed to listen to this boring nonsense.'

'Shut up and listen!' Sakura shot back. 'You don't know when it might be useful!'

'Will Mito baa-san teach me in such a boring manner too?' Megumi asked with tiredness apparent in his voice.

Suddenly a piece of paper slipped by his bench and landed on his desk with clean and clear handwriting scribbled onto it.

As if the person who wrote it was in a hurry.

It read, 'Meet me in the academy grounds after the class.'

'Oh? I got a confession note?' Megumi asked Sakura surprised.

'Burn it.'

'...why?'

'Who knows? It might be cursed. You did say there is a spirit realm after all.'

'...I don't know how to do fire elemental jutsu.' Megumi excused himself and leaned on his desk as he began to do something funny.

Picking a pebble from his pocket, Megumi with hands under the desk began to train in earth elemental transformation.

His exercise was simple, he moulded the pebble into a ball and back.

Each time he was successful in converting the pebble into a ball he rolled it to the prosthetic hand and tried converting it back into a flat stone.

With no one the wiser, Megumi continued to play with the stone ball as he rolled it around inside his desk.

'This class has so many of the main characters. What will happen to them after the chunin exams I wonder.'

'Who will replace you in team seven Rura?'

'I dunno, maybe you?'

'But I'll be dead by then.'

'Yeah, so then maybe a different civilian student?'

'Possible. But I think you were only chosen because your Mom and Dad are part of the secret ANBU force.'

'Rude! But true.'

'What do you think they do?' Megumi asked a little puzzled.

'What did they do during the attack?'

'They were standing guard near a building and took out anyone that came close to it.'

'Which building?'

'I don't know what's inside it.'

'What do you mean you don't know!? Your clairvoyance doesn't work on it?'

'No not like that. It's just a room with Shinobi standing around a large bowl of water. I don't know what it does.'

'Oh. That's the seal building.'

'Seal building?'

'Yeah, it's the building where the shinobi maintain the barrier around the village. It's important because the shinobi inside tirelessly pour their chakra into the bowl to keep the barrier up.'

'Oh? We don't have such a thing in Mugen because of the Ryumyaku vein?'

'Exactly.'

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

A sharp knock woke everyone up from their slumbers.

They looked to the door and found Tsunade standing there glaring at Megumi. She still hadn't forgiven Megumi after the stunt he pulled yesterday.

Megumi a little fearful wondered if Tsunade was here to hit him but he still maintained his cool and kept a smile on his face as if he wasn't afraid of anything in the world.

"What happened Tsunade-sama!?" The instructor asked Tsunade with a fearful expression.

'Looks like the rest of the teaching faculty didn't have a great day yesterday.' Megumi commented.

'And I wonder how much they'll be annoyed with you if they realize it was you who set her in that poor mood.'

'Eh! They know better! They're adults! Surely they won't be angry with a child!? Especially a cute child like me!?'

'*snort* cute and you are polar opposites.'

'What can I say? Opposites attract?'

"I need Megumi." Tsunade said with a scowl on her face.

"Yes, Tsunade-sama." The instructor said turning towards the student body, "Which one of you is Megumi? As Tsunade-sama said she needs you!"

Megumi slowly stood up from his last bench with a soft smile, pretending to be a good student.

"May I leave sensei?"

"Yes, you may leave. Make sure to treat Tsunade-sama well."

"Yes sensei." Megumi nodded and pranced towards Tsunade who had an even deeper scowl on her face.

"Aren't we going Tsuna-nee?" Megumi asked softly.

"Hmpf. Follow me." Tsunade began walking with Megumi as he kept pace by maintaining a slight jog.

"What did you do?" Tsunade asked Megumi in frustration.

"What did I do?" Megumi repeated confused.

"Why does the Hokage want you in his office?" Tsunade asked Megumi.

"Erm… because of yesterday's test?"

"What did you do!?" Tsunade asked in shock.

"No! I did nothing! The Hokage promised to give the best student something in exchange."

"Oh? How did you do so well? Weren't you playing the entire night!?"

"Hehe~ I might've cheated a little bit with my own jutsu creation, but no one knows.", Megumi explained a little shy.

"*sigh* Why are you always doing something troublesome?Don't you feel tired!?"

"*gasp* How then will you recognize me!? My name's synonymous with trouble! If I don't do troublesome things I can't survive!"

"At least keep me out of it."

"Alright, I won't do anything to you in the future."

"That's a lie."

"*gasp* How did you know!?"

"*sigh* troublesome."

"Hehe~ What should I ask the Hokage?" Megumi asked in a neutral tone.

"Don't have any ideas?"

"No, I don't know what he can give. I wanted to ask him for Hiraishin so that I can publicly use it, but I doubt he will give it to me."

Walking to a narrow corridor, Tsunade's voice became louder than it was as she shouted, "Of course he wouldn't! Are you crazy!?"

"..calm down!! I'm sorry alright! I promise I won't do such a thing again!" Megumi tried calming Tsunade down but she just hmpfed away.

"Don't even try to do such a thing again!"

"Alright! Alright!"

The rest of the walk to the Hokage's office which was connected to the school was a silent one as Megumi pranced about and Tsuade stiffly walked towards the doors.

They greeted the receptionist on the way while Megumi felt slightly nervous going into the Hokage office.

"It's alright. He can't do anything to you while I'm here." Tsunade said placing a hand on the door of the office.

"We aren't going to knock!?" Megumi asked startled but Tsunade just pushed open the door without even trying to knock.

"Tsunade-sama!" Minato nodded his head and immediately shifted to look at the little boy who was slightly hidden behind her.

"Haha! You're here." Minato tried to act jovial but Megumi's face only soured when he did that.

"And so at last! We meet finally, the infamous disciple of Tsunade." Minato exclaimed weaving his fingers as he rested his chin on his thumbs.

"Greetings Hokage." Megumi nodded not knowing how he should greet the random person he'd only seen from afar till today.

'Well except that one time, I met him while fixing Kushina.'

"Haha! Greetings indeed. So tell me! What do you want for coming first in the academy tests!?" Minato asked politely.

"...can I look at the scroll of seals?" Megumi asked putting on the best child-like expression he could, trying hard not to look at a certain corner of the room where Kushina stood hidden.

"Oh?" Minato raised his eyebrows and Tsunade's head snapped in Megumi's direction as the two of them were both shocked by Megumi's brash request.

"I didn't know you went about teaching your disciples that such an important scroll was in the village Tsunade-sama.", Minato said with an unhappy tone.

"No! It wasn't sensei who taught me about the seal of scrolls."

"Oh? Then who was it?" Minato asked puzzled.

"It was Mizuki sensei!" Megumi threw him under the bus happily.

"Mizuki?" Minato asked, apparently not even knowing who he was.

"Un. He told me if I could ask for something, I should ask for the scroll of seals since it's the most important item in the village and holds all the special jutsus like the Hiraishin you use!" Megumi said in his childish voice.

"I see." Minato nodded. "But you see Megumi, the scroll of seals is very precious and cannot be handed out willy-nilly, but since you only want to have a look through it, I could hand it over to you."

"...but?"

"But you'll have to do something for me." Minato nodded.

Megumi's eyes instantly sharpened as did Tsunade's as they immediately figured out the reason Miniato had called them in wasn't to reward them but to test them further.

"I can only let Megumi agree after I've had a look at the mission details." Tsunade stood up for Megumi since he didn't know how to react to this new information.

"That can be arranged, but I request you not to assist Megumi during this mission.", Minato spoke with confidence.

"That's not possible." Tsunade shook her head. "This is his first official mission and it would be irresponsible of me as a teacher to allow him to attempt this mission without any backup."

"The best shinobi will be there to guard him! I can guarantee you that." Minato requested.

"No. Not possible. Don't toe the line Minato. He isn't your student, he's mine." Tsunade said with a prominent frown on her face.

"Aren't you underestimating him a little?" Minato asked with confusion.

"What do you mea- No way! You did not!" Tsunade scolded, her tone loud and her words containing a dereliction of the rules and threatening violence.

Megumi was mighty confused and did not understand what was happening, 'What are they talking about? What did Tsunade sensei realize that's caused her to get so angry!?'

"I promise it was only accidental.", Minato reassured.

"Who healed her this time?" Tsunade asked in anger.

"No one. She's still in a little pain and is waiting for treatment. I assumed you would arrive yesterday but circumstances have forced it to be put off until today." Minato said and looked in Kushina's direction as she walked out of the seals that were keeping her hidden.

Kushina looked tired and looked like she had coughed up a bucket of blood in the time she had been waiting for treatment.

Her skin was pale and the area around her face looked ghostly.

Tsunade rushed to Kushina to sit her on a chair and began healing her, all under the confused gaze of Megumi who was left standing, ignored as if he was air.

"Why did you do such a thing recklessly!? Who told you not to wait for me!?" Tsunade asked, obviously angry.

"It was an emergency and you weren't available then Tsunade-sama." Kushina tried to plead her case but she was too weak to speak loudly or with much expression in her words at all, making her argument fall flat and die before it even came to fruition.

While Tsunade healed Kushina from her damage, Minato spoke calmly.

"So? How was it using Hiraishin for the first time?"

Megumi's pupils shrank as he looked at Minato with deep focus and consideration.

"Haha~ You don't need to look so angry. I didn't spy on you, well technically I didn't but you happened to appear in one of Kushina's visions."

Megumi's expression grew confused as he looked at Tsunade and Kushina for answers which Tsunade promptly gave in a short sentence.

"Kushina can peer into the fates like the Otsutsuki."

"Oh. And that is the result?" Megumi asked slightly shocked and Minato nodded. "Precisely."

"What do you want me to do?" Megumi asked warily since Minato might know more about him than he was letting on.

"You were spotted during a mission that a team has already begun. Why? Well, we assumed it was because you were sent by us. Do you know any other reason you might have to leave the village boundaries in the next few days?"

"...I'm leaving to go to Mugenjutsugakure with Tsunade sensei in a few weeks, but not so soon."

"Mugen? That's a nice place." Minato nodded and did not ask for more information about their trip.

"The mission that you were spotted in had to do with the capturing of an old man who has attacked the village once recently."

"On New Year's Eve?" Megumi asked.

"Correct.", Minato said sending Tsunade a piercing glance.

"His name?" Megumi asked focused.

"Danzo.", Minato responded with equal focus.
