"The right fit for the future king," Queen Miriam said with satisfaction.
Her husband smiled at her. He was glad that public opinion about his son's match with Lucia was shifting, but he was also sure it would shift a few times before the month was over. He was not actively putting his efforts in that direction, but if it kept his wife occupied, he was glad for it.
"Not a peep about their age gap or any other disgusting notions," the Queen uttered gleefully as she held up the newspaper to her face while pacing around the room.
"Your cousin has suggested we talk about the unity seal at Michael's engagement party," the King informed his wife.
She halted and turned to him.
"Gustav?" she asked needlessly.
Her husband looked at her as if to say, "Who else?"
"And?" his wife said with a wave of her hand and a roll of her eyes.
"King Gabriel agrees," Queen Miriam's brow arched up.
"What?" King Philip asked.
