New Goals

Xyno wakes up the next morning. He feels different than the last night because he was not a normal human anymore. He was now a trainer who had established a link with a Pokemon and hence become a full-fledged Pokemon trainer. He looks over at Sett who was still sleeping. He had Sett sleep with him on the bed for the night since he thought Sett would feel lonely inside the Pokeball.

He gets up and gets changed. Sett wakes from the noise and gets off the bed as well. Sett climbs over to Xyno's shoulder and licks his cheek gently. Both of them go over to the kitchen area and have breakfast. After eating breakfast Xyno goes on with helping Regina in the expedition over the next couple of weeks.

The whole expedition goes smoothly and they make a lot of discoveries, but could not find the source of the purple storm that occurred in the skies over the Kinderburn Isles. When the expedition finally ends Regina and Xyno, along with the other scientists who came with them board the aircraft and head back to Maria's mansion, their home. Maria, who felt very lonely as she had not seen Xyno for weeks hugs Xyno tightly as soon as he disembarked. Xyno gets back to his job as Regina's assistant and goes on with his life.

Time silently passes by and it is finally Xyno's 15th birthday. Xyno proclaimed he had amnesia and can't remember anything but Regina checked his real age with help of some strange device that can check the age of bones. So his birthday was decided to be on 5 January. It has been 4 months since then.

Xyno wakes up in his bed. He was now a full-fledged adult according to Astra's laws.

He felt something soft and puffy touching both his hands. Two beautiful naked bodies tightly clung to him

"Ah~" a soft and sexy voice speaks out.

Xyno smiles wryly and stays down so that he does not disturb the sleep of two beautiful ladies beside him. The lady on right had pale blue hair and a sexy body with an innocent face while the beauty on left had a lean and mature body with blonde hair. Who else could these ladies be besides Regina and Maria?

Regina and Maria were both completely naked on his bed. Our hero still remembers the event four months ago when he finally lost 'IT' in this world. Though he always tried to keep some distance from them but after living with them for more than 3 years, his heart finally melted with all the affection they showered him with.

He still remembers Regina and Maria both said they had a present prepared for his 'coming of age' ceremony for his 15th birthday. One thing led to another and after drinking quite some, they both practically threw themselves at him and he just went along with it. From that day he was in a relationship with both these beautiful ladies.

In Astra, polygamy is pretty normal in some continents and although it has become pretty rare but some strong trainers still have harems. So both the ladies accepted this relationship with him.

Feeling his movements, Regina and Maria groan while they wake up.

"So, did you enjoy last night darling?~" Maria asks Xyno in a sexy voice.

"You were pretty wild last night. I felt I was in bliss." Regina says.

As they both look at Xyno and comment on last night's events and lick their lips. Xyno stood still for a second, recollecting his feelings and then suddenly hugs both of them tightly.

"I love you both."

Feeling his emotions, both Regina and Maria also hugged him back and reply, "We love you too, silly."

All three of them get out of the room and take a bath together.

During breakfast, Regina brings up something.

"Have you decided on what you want to do when you grow older? Do you want to be a scientist? Pokemon trainer and challenge the League? Or some other profession?"

"I have decided I will study some more and gain more knowledge before I go and become a Pokemon trainer." Xyno replies.

"Oh? Then I'd say you would be becoming a junior researcher first and then go on a journey?" Maria asks.

"Yeah, that seems to be the best option."

"Then you would be getting you certified as a junior researcher from the Pokemon Research Organization Sinnoh headquarters at Sylvester city."

" I have already sent a letter of recommendation for you. You will be near Sylvester academy so you can gain trainer knowledge there too."

"You will need to work there on some projects for an year or two and then with my approval, you can become an official researcher."

Xyno thought about how this lines in with his plan. Becoming a trainer is not easy. You need to focus on food, training and maintenance of Pokemon. He never studied all these aspects from childhood like natives of this world and he also needed to experiment various things to get optimal way for training his Pokemon.

A junior researcher certification will help at many stages like purchase of rare materials and medicine. He will also get access to many restricted regions.

"That would be perfect. Thank you Regina."

"My pleasure. You are also someone precious to me so I can do this much."

After breakfast, Xyno is goes over to the research facility for his daily checkups on the Pokemon. On the way he gets greeted by the other scientists and researchers working at the moment. This place has become his home in this new world. He still remembers the gifts Regina and Maria prepared for him on his 15 birthday.

(Four months ago…)

Xyno was done checking up growth of the Pokemon absorbing mana crystals when he gets called on by Regina who asks him to meet her and Maria back at the mansion.

When he gets there he find Regina in the library, waiting for him to get there with Maria.

"Something happened Regina?" Xyno asks confused as to why Regina called him.

"I called you here to give you your birthday present."

"But didn't I already get one from you both together?" Xyno refers to last night.

"That was just a way of showing our love for you. Since you have come of age as well, I thought of giving you a special Pokemon to accompany you during your travels."

Regina takes him to the machine at the centre. There were 3 Pokemon placed, each of different type.

"These 3 are the starters some lucky trainers get to choose from in Sinnoh."

"So choose, do you want the Grass-type Turtwig, the Fire-type Chimchar, or the Water-type Piplup?"

Xyno checks on the Pokemon. He was shocked to see that all three were much better than standard starters that trainers choose from. Usually C or D grade talent starters are handed out and some lucky people get B grade talent.

But the Pokemon in front of him were different. Two of them were A+ grade while one was S grade. He knew these were especially selected by Regina and it would not be an easy task even for her to get them. These were gems among gems.

After some deliberation Xyno made his decision.

"I'll take the Turtwig." Xyno walks closer to Turtwig and bends down in front of Turtwig.

Regina smiles and thinks that Xyno has a good intuition for selecting Pokemon as this one was the best.

"How do you feel about sticking with me, Turtwig?"

Turtwig nods and lets out a cry, showing his appreciation. He then jumps into Xyno's arms.

"I think it will very much like the idea. Congratulations on getting your first starter Pokemon, Xyno." Regina congratulates Xyno. Since Sett was not exactly a starter Pokemon, rather he caught Sett on an expedition.

Sett, who was at the scene with Xyno gets closer to Turtwig and gestures to say hello to which Turtwig gestures back. Both seem to get along quite well already.

"Here, take this Pokeball and catch Turtwig with it." Maria on the side gives Xyno a ball which was green in color and had white stripes at the sides. It resembled Sett's ball in design but the color was the only change.

"This ball looks similar to Sett's ball."

"Sett's Pokeball, along with this and 4 others were prototypes of Pokeballs named Arcadia Balls. These Pokeballs are special. They help the Pokemon improve their harmony with their respective type."

"Arcadia? Are these related to the world-famous inventor Arcadia?"Xyno asks raising his eyebrows.

"Yes, these are made by her. She is a good friend of mine" Maria Says proudly

Xyno remembers that Arcadia was the legendary mysterious Inventor.

Xyno takes the Green Arcadia Ball and touches it's button against Turtwig's nose and catches it.

"Here, this is the full set of 5 Arcadia balls. One ball each for Grass-type, Fire-type, Ground-type, water-type and Electric-type. The Dark-type which you used to catch Sett was also from this series but somewhat more special."

"Thank you for the presents. I can't express my words" Xyno says emotionally.

Both ladies give him a beautiful smile.

"Anything for you Darling~!"

Xyno gets Turtwig out of it's ball.

"I'm looking forward to future adventures with you Tiny."

Sett jumps out of excitement and starts letting out joyous cries. He had gained a friend he could play with in Turtwig.

(Present…)

Xyno enters the familiar lab room. There at the center, two ladies were busy with machines.

"Whoa! Making changes to the wave generator?"

"Yes, some minor changes" Maria replies.

"Take that folder from the desk. It contains all the documents required for your travel"

(Well I am somewhat reluctant to leave here)Xyno thinks emotionally picking up the folder. 5 days later he will start his new life at Sylvester, the academy city.
