ch.14: its the most wonderful time of the year

October

So it is getting closer to Halloween and well I know my house isn't big but I was still going to decorate. And I still work in the mall but I only do a few shows here and there. And well right now I am at the store, pet store. So I can get ghost a new collar food treats, and a new litter box. She has destroyed the other. And still kicks out the fucking litter. But I have gotten used to it.

But I was looking down the cat aisle and I found these two sweaters, one was black and white stripes with a tiny skull. And the other said I am a little monster. I got both of them. But I was wondering if I should get either another kitten or hamster. Then again ghost will probably try and eat the hamster and not get along with the cat.

But I went down the bird aisle which was a huge mistake. I saw ghost just staring them down. And the squeaked and it made her jump. I thought it was pretty funny. But I went to pay and this guy was looking at me really weird.

I asked, " is there something wrong sir?" He shook his head no, " no I am sorry it is just you look very familiar?" I shrugged my shoulders. And he checked the stuff. And ghost was asleep. It was cute but when I get home I am dropping her off and going to party city to get a few Halloween supplies.

So when it comes to Halloween I will go all out. And I mean all out. I will have jump scares, a graveyard, spooks and best of yet I get to make Halloween baking goods. I have learned to do it during Halloween from my grandma. But I got home and put ghost in her little tree house. I got her that back in september.

But I got back in my car and to the nearest party city. So I found it in the plaza. And I had to walk. So it was cool but not cold. So I wore a pair of shorts flats and a jacket. But I walked into party city. And the first thing I found was this big pumpkin grim reaper ghost. I cursed under my breath, " oh my shit?" I feel into a heaven of Halloween. But I went to the right first and I found a few things I knew I was going to need a cart so I went back to the front and got a cart then went back to the right.

So I found bloody hand curtains. A demon tv, decapitated limbs, bloody moss tomb stones, and a lot more. But the one thing that caught my eye was this, it was a sign that said, " elm street neighborhood watch." I just laughed and put it in the cart. So I also was going to dress up again. But I remember that I had my mrs.krueger costume from my sophomore year.

So I was going to wear that. But I checked my phone really quick and I saw a YouTube notification and I look to see what the title was, " unknown artist, totally amazing." I pushed the watch later button and locked my phone. But I went to pay and it came out to almost a hundred bucks, but it was totally worth it. But I payed for that and said thanks and went back home.

But I got home and I found ghost laying on the floor against the wall in the weirdest position. I just left her and put all of my stuff down. But I then heard a little bell so I knew it was my phone. But I look to see and I saw the same notification. So I said heck with it and clicked the link. I watched the video and this girl was filming from the one festival in the park. And this was when I was performing that day. So I read the comments and a few said, " this is awesome, who is she though?" I then saw another, " this is totally amazing does anyone know who this is though?"

I was shocked then I got a twitter notification form inna, Andy, Juliet, and Sammi.

" hey it's inna seems like you're getting popular good for you. And stay strong." I smiled she is a super nice person. But Sami said, " hey Haley, it's sammi congrats, seems like you're getting heard. Never give up." That was sweet. Then I saw a message from Juliet. " hey Haley, I saw the video, congrats, also me and a few others were wondering if you wanted to come with us to a party later. Reply to either me or Jake later." I was thinking but I wasn't sure because one I wanted to decorate, and two I wasn't sure.

So I texted Juliet back and I asked, " what time is it and do you have to dress up?" She replied, " it is going to be at six and what do you mean?" I was curious, " well I know it is October and almost Halloween so I was just curious."

She replied, " okay well it is a costume party so I would think dressing up would be a must. Lol." I thought okay I have a few hours to decorate and I could go out and have fun. Plus I could wear my one costume. So I replied, " okay I will go. Thank you for the invite. Can you text me the address?" She quickly replied, " yes, it is here....."

Okay so I was going to decorate and listen to music while I am doing that. And I was going to get into Sunday clothes since I am going to be moving around a lot. But I started to decorate and I turned my radio on. And I started to put up the bloody curtain and it looked weird so in my terms weird is good.
