Kaito, now known as Sergio D. Arthur, had always felt different. Born on this island and raised by his grandfather, an old pirate named Taro, he had been trained in the ways of the sea. Yet, an inexplicable feeling of displacement lingered within him. This feeling reached its zenith one fateful night as he lay under the stars, pondering his place in the world.
Unbeknownst to anyone, Kaito was not an ordinary boy. He was, in fact, a time traveler from another world—a world where One Piece was merely a fictional story. His real name was Arthur, a seventeen-year-old boy from the 21st century who had read up to the Egghead Arc of One Piece. After a mysterious accident, Arthur's soul had been transported into the body of Kaito, a member of the D clan, and renamed Sergio D. Arthur.
