Kakashi offered his sincere apology.

Demiurge, still caught up in his brainstorming session, paid no heed to Kakashi's words.

He was indifferent to the apology.

To him, Kakashi's gratitude held little significance; all he cared about was Carnes' stance.

Kakashi, in turn, wasn't particularly concerned about Demiurge's attitude.

But he didn't dare to show any sign of annoyance or disagreement.
