One Piece: Like father like son!

A good idea with a great story. in my opinion that's a good combo. could use longer chapters and little more detail of training but Pretty good.

This fanfic is definitely one of the best One Piece fanfics in terms of writing quality, so far. The interactions are well done, the crew is interesting and even the guys who seem like cannon fodders get some attention (sorry Penguin and Sachi-kun lol). Keep in mind that the mc is gonna become OP fast, that was made very clear from the first few chaps since he can synchronize with his father at a rate of 5% each year, and there are missions to speed that, so it's only a matter of time before he becomes one of the strongest if not the strongest. However, he still has challenges. After all no matter how strong, he is just one man. The romance was lacking but it is getting better in the latest chapters.

a all around decent fanfic, my big problem with it is the way the speech is handled, 'blah blah blah' (and no I'm not talking about ' being at the bottom of the line at the beginning of the sentence) this way of representing the speech is bad because most of the time you don't know who is speaking and unless you use !? then you wont be able to express how the character is speaking i.e. mad, sad, shocked, furious. and it just breaks up the conversation and immersion. but I also recognize that there are other problems like minor grammar errors, a nerf with the bonus quest, disappointment with roger being both his father and the character he gets his power from; but these things are very minor and for me either could ignore them easily or just plainly didn't matter. that being said I rate this 4 Twinkies out of 6 boots

This is the most 7/10 fanfic I've seen on this site. I almost never give 3/5 star reviews and would mostly either put them in 1/5 or 5/5, but like I said, this is the most 7/10 fanfic I've seen on the site. The premise is original and you can tell there's significant effort placed into writing it, but at the same falls into every possible pitfall a One Piece fanfic can fall into. It's surprisingly lackluster for a fanfic with such an interesting premise. 1. Major characters who go through extensive character development are turned into boring side characters with amateurish writing. 2. Absurd power dynamics and OP MC that makes the reader feel like the world of the source material is smaller than it really is. This author basically made Oda's effort in making his world feel vast obsolete before the MC's adventure even started. Which is impressive, but it's impressive in the worst way possible. 3. Too much emphasis on Romance, completely disregarding the nature of the source material. One Piece romance is very implied and nuanced. It's not something that's in your face, and these fanfic authors' strange obsession with shipping is weird. Although I can give it a pass now, because the author seems to have completely forgotten some of the crass romantic set-up he's done. All in all, it was an okay read (so far). Also, rest assured that the author eventually drops some of his cringe writing quirks like adding text emotes, although he does still add SFX, which I can only justify as him trying to transition One Piece's story telling style into a written format.

In my opinion its original but it needs editing It has a few grammar mistakes and uses a weird way to show people talking and thinking which is annoying honestly but is good so far if you ignore those things

Interesting at first as i though it would take an interesting turn but its not really different to any story of the same plotline. Grammar and writing has problems, fight scenes are boring and the whole story sometimes feels just forced.

Review Tune So I hate author and his stupid jokes about learning the art of cliffhanger. On a brighter note, this book is definetly a 5 star in my book, in the first 20ish chapters there won't be other PoVs like the other reviewed said but author has started to add them and I have to say. He nailed them, spot on. Reading a book without any PoV is boring but author has added then starting from chap 30, I think or before that but the PoVs are really good and enjoyable. I gave it a try since I was a bit skeptical at first due to it not having others PoVs since in One Piece book having not multiple PoVs of characters would be definetly boring so I thank author for doing them. ☆☆☆☆Spoilers☆☆☆☆ Also MC is OP having his father's template and all that. I like it, even though I said OP he won't be able to go against multiple yonkos or even admirals at the same time, at least jot now as of chap 47 but he can stand his ground against an admiral and win in a one vs one so this is nice, he has still a lot to grow and I'm super hyped to know what MC will do when Ace is captured.

Author-san, being a huge fan of One Piece myself I was absolutely thrilled by this AU One Piece fanfiction world that u are building. I am absolutely loving this universe you are trying to create. Also super excited for the future of the story and am especially waiting to see how u will handle the whole Marineford arc. Now, a few minor problems I have with this story is that u are progressing it too fast and also bring in a few more POVs especially when Jackson does something crazy personally I would love to at least see Shanks, Ace, and Luffy's POV's. I would have loved to see their reactions to his and Sabo's bounty. I also want to know till which arc the MC read the One Piece manga before his death/ reincarnation because at some point I want to see him not rely on his knowledge of the One Piece universe. I am a huge fan of this fanfic and hope u keep building this world for a long time to come.

Well in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking at this matter in a different way and without fighting and by trying to make it clear, and by considering each and every ones opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.

It's sooo fricking good I can't belive i've randomly found it while browsing for new novels to read. My only regret is that i've found it so early and there are not enough chapters.

Author has minor grammar mistakes, has good update stability, nice story development and character design, although I didn't understand why were there Ace's and Jackson's grandparents at the start, wasn't there supposed to be only garp? That's why 4 stars on world background^, altogether it's great, probably on par with "Transmigrated into One Piece world with a Gift Pack" and "One Piece: Path to Power"
