Toshiro made his way to the dining area, where Sanji had prepared another meal. He sat down and began eating, savoring each bite.
Nami, still unsettled by their conversation, hesitated before following him. She entered the dining area and watched Toshiro eat, her thoughts a whirlwind of fear and uncertainty.
"Sanji," Toshiro called between bites, "we're heading to Cocoyasi Village next. Make sure we have everything we need for the trip."
Sanji nodded, his expression unreadable as he glanced between Toshiro and Nami. He could sense the tension and knew something significant was at play.
After finishing his meal, Toshiro stood up. "Sanji, Kuro, meet me in the training room in an hour. We have more work to do."
As Toshiro left the dining area, Nami couldn't stay silent any longer. She hurried after him, grabbing his arm to stop him.
"Toshiro, you can't just walk into Cocoyasi Village without a plan. You need to take on Arlong first, whatever your intentions are."
Toshiro looked down at her hand on his arm and then met her eyes, his expression cold and unyielding. "I don't need a plan. I just need to be strong enough to handle whatever comes our way. Now let go."
Nami reluctantly released his arm hoping he and Arlong their way will cross to each other and fight.
As Toshiro walked away, Nami stood there, her mind racing with possible ways to protect her village and herself.
........................…..
Three days passed. Toshiro, as always, was taking a nap after completing his training when Nami walked in, waking him up.
"We're here," Nami said, looking down at the ground.
"Nice. Make sure to dock the ship in a hidden place; we don't want the Arlong Pirates to spot us," Toshiro said as he stood up, yawning.
Nami nodded and started to walk away, but then she stopped, turned, and looked Toshiro in the eyes. "If I ask you to kill the Arlong Pirates for me, would you do it?"
"Absolutely not," Toshiro said without hesitation. "It's a waste of time."
"I see," Nami murmured, clenching her hands into fists before turning to leave.
As she walked away, Toshiro called out to her, "Nami, why are you so fixated on Arlong? Is there something you're not telling me?"
Nami paused, her back still to Toshiro. "You wouldn't understand. I just have a grudge against him."
Toshiro's expression remained unchanged. "He's very strong. I can't help you with that, Womp Womp."
Nami turned back to face him, her eyes glistening with determination. "If you won't help me directly, then at least don't stand in my way."
Toshiro shrugged nonchalantly. "As long as it doesn't interfere with my plans, do whatever you want."
Nami nodded and left, her resolve hardening with each step.
As she exited the room, Toshiro watched her go, a faint smirk playing on his lips. "Good luck, Nami. You'll need it."
...............…..
Toshiro called Kuro and Sanji to his quarters, his expression as stern as ever. "I've got orders for you both," he began, his voice leaving no room for argument.
Kuro and Sanji exchanged glances, then turned their attention back to Toshiro.
"There's a hill just outside Cocoyasi Village," Toshiro continued. "I need you to build a small cabin there, exactly Where I described. Make sure it's hidden and secure."
Kuro raised an eyebrow. "Why a cabin under a hill, Toshiro-sama?" he asked, curiosity getting the better of him.
"Don't question my orders," Toshiro replied coldly. "Just get it done."
Sanji crossed his arms, nodding slowly. "And what about the villagers? They're bound to notice if we're building something."
"That's where the second part of my orders comes in," Toshiro said, his gaze sharpening. "You are to avoid causing any trouble in the village. Do not draw attention to yourselves. And most importantly, do not help Nami in any way. Stay out of her affairs."
Kuro adjusted his glasses, considering the command. "Understood. We'll get it done."
Sanji, though clearly uneasy, nodded in agreement. "Got it."
Despite his usual tendency to simp for women, Sanji made a conscious effort to ignore Nami from that day forward, assuming she was very close to Toshiro and understanding the gravity of Toshiro's command.
"Good," Toshiro said, a slight smirk playing on his lips. "Now get to work. I expect the cabin to be ready without delay."
With their instructions clear, Kuro and Sanji set off to complete the task, leaving Toshiro to his plans.
"Let's see what Nami is doing," Toshiro said with a smirk as he vanished into thin air.
With a subtle flicker, Toshiro's form dissolved into shadows, blending seamlessly into the surroundings. He moved with silent grace, his presence undetectable as he slipped through the village streets like a phantom. Toshiro's keen eyes scanned the area, searching for any sign of Nami. He tracked her movements discreetly.
"Hmm? She's going back to the ship?" Toshiro murmured to himself curiously.
As he waited for her to emerge from the ship, Nami finally appeared from the front door with a large sack slung over her shoulder.
"Stealing my money? Ok, Ok," Toshiro said with a smirk, observing Nami with interest.
He watched as Nami moved swiftly through the village, her movements purposeful and determined. Toshiro remained hidden in the shadows, intrigued by her actions and the contents of the sack she carried.
