"The World Government has been looking for this fruit for a long time". Barrels continued to laugh as he thought the perfect opportunity landed on his lap with no effort at all.

The previous user of this fruit was a doctor and it is said that he could cure any disease in the world.

"The Ope Ope no mi, whoever eats it will become the greatest doctor in the world."

"But what's that got to do with me!" Barrels declared.

"Give me my Den Den mu shi" he ordered his men.

Barrels had easily gotten a hold of Government agents as he was a former Marine officer.

The World Government was shocked to have heard they finally found the Devil Fruit.

Still in doubt but they wouldn't take any chances either.

The discussion went on for a while and the World Government finally had an offer to buy for five billion berries.

"Hahaha! We're gonna be rich boys!" Barrel laughed hysterically.

Details were finalized.

They were to trade at Rubeck Island a week from now.

It's an island west of the island they are on and also north of Swallow Island.

The place is an industrialized area with mountains of scrap metals and factories.

Inside a refurbished building where a Pirate flag hung above.

The jolly roger of Donquixote Pirates.

While the deal with Barrels and the Marines was discussed.

It was intercepted.

The Don Quixote Family also had gotten a hold of this information.

"Fuffuffuf! What a useless pirate"

"They don't know how valuable this Fruit is...it was said that it can grant someone immortality," Doflamingo said to his crew.

After they discussed their plan

Doflamingo then asks about one of their problems.

"After Rosinante went away,"

"The Marines didn't show up even once". Doflamingo said while adjusting his glasses.

For months that they were sailing, Vice Admiral Tsuru always managed to catch up to them.

This annoyed Doflamingo to no end.

It made him remember his deep hatred for his father.

Which he thought his father took away the power of the gods from him.

Tsuru made it look as if they could predict their movements.

"Do you think he's a spy for the Marines Doffy?" Trebol said then his snot grossly swayed.

"Maybe it's just a coincidence Doffy" Diamante said, one of the top executives of their crew.

"I hope you're right because I don't want to distrust my family". Doflamingo said and thought of the possibility that he might kill his little brother.

Near the coast.

A man is talking into a transponder snail

A blonde man with a black feather coat and a sickly kid with a fluffy hat.

The kid is clearly poisoned with Amber Lead.

The sole survivor from White City.

"Did you hear that Law?"

"You are finally gonna be saved"

"Once you eat the Ope ope no mi, you can then cure yourself and perform miracles" Rosinante happily picked up Law and swung him around.

"...but Doflamingo clearly said that he wants you to eat it," Law replied

Rosinante then explained to Law that they wouldn't be coming back to the family.

Doflamingo probably knew that Rosinante was a spy from the Marines.

Both Rosinante and Law prepare to leave the island immediately.

They plan to head to Minion Island to steal the Devil Fruit before that set date of the trade.

He then proceeds to call his adopted father to tell him that his brother would try to steal the Devil Fruit.

Who is surprisingly the head of the Marines, Fleet Admiral Sengoku.

Arriving at Minion Island.

Thick layers of snow covered the whole place.

He climbed to the mountains while he left Law somewhere to hide and headed to Diez Barrels base.

Law waited down the mountain and was shivering to the cold and icy howling winds.

He was just hoping and praying that Corazon would be safe as he slowly faded away to sleep.

He became a Calm person.

It was the perfect power for infiltration missions as no sound would be generated from the domain created.

Explosions were seen, flames raging around.

The pirates were bewildered as no sound could be heard from the explosion.

Inside Barrels base.

Lights went out, people panicked as one by one they were shot down.

Rosinante defeated his enemy unbelievably fast.

As a Marine Commander from the Headquarters most pirates in four seas won't be his match.

After attacking Barrels, he also got what he came for.

"Law! You're gonna live!." Rosinante holds the devil fruit tightly in his hands while escaping from the base.

Tears welled in his eyes, he thought and believed in the enemy of the gods.

All he ever wanted to do was to stop his brother from his evil plans.

Fate will always pave the way for them.

Coming down the mountain with his clumsy nature.

He had fallen down in the midst of the enemies and got captured.

"Agh! Damn it!" Rosinante said thinking how he could escape from his predicament.

Meanwhile outside of Minion Island.

A large pink ship with bird wings on its side and a flamingo figurehead.

"Young Master, Diez Barrels base is burning," One of the Doflamingos crew ran and reported.

"It must Rosinante doing...You traitor!" veins popped on his head as he said angrily.

"Let's head in now, We must not let the Ope ope no mi be taken away ." He ordered as he thought Tsuru would be nearby too.

They unfurled their sail and headed into the island.

In the foot of the mountain.

Outside an abandoned house.

Rosinante was trying to wake up Law.

"Law!"

"Law!"

He woke up and wondered why he couldn't breathe.

"Achh Achh"

Rosinante tried forcing Law to eat the fruit jamming down on his throat.

"ahh!" Law continued to choke as he forced gulping it down his throat.

Law fell on down his back.

"Hah hah hah"

"Are you really trying to save me? I almost choked to death". Law said as he breathed heavily

"You're gonna be released from the pain in your body Law."

As he said that Rosinante finally fell down.

Back when he escaped, he hadn't gotten out unscathed.

Law panicked as he saw Rosinante collapse and his body was full of gunshots.

Blood flowed dyeing the white snow red.

Rosinante lying down facing the sky.

He noticed some kind of string forming like a birdcage.

"It must be Doflamingo, but I had never seen this power before."

"Law! I won't die for now"

"I have a bad feeling about this, Let's escape now" Rosinante ordered Law.

While all those events unfolded.

Somewhere within the snowy land.

Someone was hiding in shadows as he watched the fight between Rosinante and Barrels Pirates.

The Marines and Donquixote Family who were docked nearby.

'Everything in place now'.

'I guess I should make the call now'. He then picked up his transponder snail.'
