Chapter 23 :Getting Prepped

Wilson after examining the hell gob then looked at Cain and spoke

"Cain , look here . This beast can levitate , and i can feel that it has very high defense and particularly towards fire . If you feel that you really can't team u you can summon and see for another creature after you've grown stronger or refined your mana"

Cain looking at Wilson and then again at the Hell Gob spoke

"Give half of the money back which i gave you , and here's your books which you rented to me " he spoke in a very disappointed tone.

Wilson couldn't refute Cain much as he had seen Cain's summon and even he too was disappointed , Wilson then went into his store and came back with a stone in his hand and spoke

"You can take back you're money in full or you can take this stone , this is called a Ignis Ruby .I can't use it as i don't have fore affinity but if this is sacrificed when you do a summoning the beast you summon will be a lot more stronger than what you can summon and though i could've sold this , i kept i because i wanted a person with high caliber to use it , not some shitty noble with a lot of money"

Cain took this stone it started to glow brightly and its inner core started to swirl , Cain was feeling a strong urge to eat the ruby , but suppressing it he asked in his mind

'What is this ?'

[It's as he said a Ignis Ruby , these are very rare but also not in that high cost as there are very few high level of fire mages who would go far to acquire it , but nobles may acquire it to increase their strength but usually doesn't give high output them.

The Ruby is reacting such that as it contains a part of Divine flames, which instinctively want to merge with the Hell fire the host posses same is for the hellfire , It would greatly increase your strength but it is advised that the host use it for summoning instead]

Seeing the glowing ruby Wilson started loudly

"Hahaha .... Who would've thought you have this much affinity , you feel it's power don't you I wanted to give this to a person who has great Caliber but who do i get , This Fool who gets a shitty summon , but has one of the highest affinities to fire i've seen till now" Cain hearing this little irritated spoke

"I'll take this stone , but it will be better that people don't know that i have such high affinity "

Cain then cancelled his summon , and spoke some casual talk with Wilson he left

After that Cain went to Sander Firetooth , to get his weapons from him .

When he went to Sander's house ,he was greeted inside and went to the smithy part of the house directly .

There was a black sword not too long , A black and white full arm gauntlet and a pair of Dual axes [art reference in comments].

Sander's then asked Cain to put some of his blood on all the weapons , following which Cain did so . After this their Black and white coloration started to change to black and red . With a proud smile Sander's turned towards Cain and spoke

"All of them are made from the bones you gave and Merged them with Red Wyvern bones which I had , it all happened beautifully,The blood which I asked u to pour on them for was Blood binding , with that only your mana can propagate through those weapons and all others will be rejected or the weapons will break

The Full arm Gauntlet can shrink or grow with help of some mana to adjust to your size , while the others have more conduction to your mana , you'll get to know all features as you use them

you can even improve them by using bones of superior creatures to merge with your weapons , though it can only be done by top rated blacksmiths . Also don't worry anything about the temperature of your flames as you cast on them as i've put ice runes on all of them so they can cool down if it becomes very hot , but it will be even better if you merge fire or lava dragon bones with them and as for your mask here it is "

Sander's then handed the mask to Cain and continued

"now that's a total of 20,000 Gold Welks "Cain hearing this shocked

"WHAT!!?"

"Yes , 10,000 gold for the Red Wyvern bones and 10,000 for my work and the rest . Though the money for my effort may seem more it is worth it "

Cain knew this as a when he inquired about the cost generally a blacksmith would take around 1000 gold welks and the top would even would take more. Cain also didn't want to bargain much as he also felt this was worth the money , and this was also because Cain had a lot of money to spend from where he had looted and didn't worry if it was spent where he felt was it was worth it.

Cain gave the money to Sander's in full , Sander was a little shocked but didn't think too much and equipped all the weapons and armor channeled mana through them when the Arm gantlet attached itself to his arms like a glove.

Cain then thanking Sanders left for the guild

When Cain entered the guild he saw that there was chaos rather than the usual peace , Cain then searched for Venturax and asked him what was going on . But Cain when he heard the reason he was also shocked.
