Chapter 22 : Information About The Council

As Liam left Cain came back and looked for Venturax , the blue lizardman who he met on the first day he visited the guild . After some looking he found Venturax eating in the Guild's food hall , Cain went and sat next to Venturax seeing this started to smile as he was eating and asked

"So what do you want to ask Mr. Cain , is it about good parties to team up with to raid , about dungeons , about how to get next adventurer rank or maybe information about other adventurers .Do know my services are great though maybe costly"

Cain looking at Venturax spoke

"No , not those . I want all available information on summoning high fire affinity creatures and the International Adventurer Council" Hearing this Venturax started to laugh spoke

"Hehehe.. , Were you offered by the GuildMaster to join that . See i have a good eye for clients , but even i didn't expect you to become such a bigshot " Cain was shocked when Venturax told this to him to which he replied

"Isn't that thing hidden from the public ? " Venturax with a little smirk spoke

"Yeah , but if they search a little anyone can find out . Almost all the nobles know about it and adventurers who have been in the guild for a long time would also have some info about it which they would've heard through the grapevine . And all information brokers have extensive info on it as this is one of the common things requested" Cain looked a little dissapointed but later asked

"When can I get the information ? Better if it's fast"

"I can get it to you around 3 hours , about summoning fire beasts and the International Adventurer's Council as I always have the latter prepared and the former because Norman asked me for it 2 weeks back "

"Then deliver it to the Bear Claw tavern , better if given to Miles . Tell them to give it to Cain who stays on the 2nd floor. So how much does it cost ?"

"20 Gold Welks , all together and no bargaining as i'm giving for the least amount possible"

Cain gave Venturax 30 gold Welks and spoke

"The 10 extra is to inform me whenever a high authority individual is set to come to the city or rumors about me . Based on the info i'll give you more then" Venturax looked at Cain and spoke

"What If I cheat you ?" as he smirked a little , Cain with a smile spoke

"You've established you're business in Zrervin so you won't move out , and even if I kill someone I have no problems in relocation" Venturax gulped and spoke

"Ok fine ,I'll Deliver it then . I'm leaving now" Venturax got up and left the guild .

After observing the guild for sometime , Cain left .

Back at Bear Claw's Cain got all the documents delivered and was in his room , looking at them spoke

"Time to read"

After 2 hrs of looking through all the documents related to International Adventurer's Council and he looked at the ceiling of his room and spoke to himself

"So , it's like the United Nations but with more power and influence than back on Earth , all the Kingdoms and Empires are its members with the core being the top 4 empires

They have a army of high level people who range from A rank to Primal ranks , and are assembled at any time if a calamity strikes like a disaster or calamity level beast strikes a member country , they aid them

In return all the members of the army should be provided high level positions in the government of Their home nation and 70 percent of all the remains of the beasts remains go to the Council . Also they have control of all the adventurers guilds in the world

They don't interfere in any type of Wars between nations whatsoever and also look into the field of exploration and it's employees are paid in large amounts and are heavily funded based on their talent . This is like landing a job in the top company if compared to earth "

After sometime looked at another document and thought

"They have only around 3000 people in them from all around the world with around half being from the top 4 empires , in name of exploration they hunt high ranked beasts and also fulfill requests of the 4 empires , though there is a little resistance and their head a Primal Rank Swordsman who is around 400 years old has influence almost as much as the 4 empires and though their members complete identity is hidden from outside all the information is available to the upper brass of the Council

They give freedom but also work should be done and people aren't able to leave the council unless they are heirs to kingdoms . Sigh ... its disadvantageous

But , during the selections a tournament is conducted every 4 years where the top 50 are offered a job at the council , but half leave as other sponsors also come to them

I can go for the selections and get a sponsor it will be better"

Afterwards Cain looked at the pile of books related to summoning , looking at the pile he got irritated and got off to sleep .

The next day Cain studied all the books on summoning and none had information about summoning creatures from Hell , but there were runes and inscriptions which suggested hell but no one was able to summon anything from them . After establishing a connection with that creature , a magic circle or runes were no longer necessary and they could be summoned directly.

Cain this day didn't do much except reading those books on summoning , practicing swordsmanship and practice wielding Dual Axes.

The one thing Cain noticed while wielding Dual Axes is that he could combine his hand to hand combat skills effectively with them , and for facing a single or a very large number of enemies they would be the best , while for facing a small number of people the sword was where he felt comfortable , then Cain decided , he would show swordsmanship in public and hide is Axe wielding skills .

The next day Cain went to Wilson to do his first summoning , Wilson greeted Cain with a smile and asked

"Did you read all the books i told you to ?"

"Yeah"

"Then go stand infront of those runes , they summon fire affinity beings since you have fire affinity you can summon there . If i see any mistakes i'll correct you , so you can start now right?"

"I can"

Cain then went to those runes and stated to channel his mana through them , he wanted a strong beast so he channeled half of his mana to the runes and Spoke

"Beasts of Fire , I summon you to aid me in my quest . Heed my call and be my summon"

As he spoke the runes started to glow red and started to catch fire even Wilson was intrested in the summon ,

As the light died down from those flames rose a spherical rock with small hands , two eyes and a mouth and had little flames on its body , It was just about 1 feet tall , Cain couldn't help be frustrated . He went upto Wilson , pulling up his collar asked him in grim tone

"WHAT IS THAT ?"

"I don't know , even i am surprised . There is no records of this creature that I've seen till now , please calm down i'll check your summon"

Cain then let go of wilson who then went towards that weird summon and started to check it , at the same time in his mind

Reading this Cain was frustrated but looked at his first summon which was glaring back at him , as then Wilson started to speak to Cain .
