" Listen because I will only tell you once, I am Hamura Tenko, the unfortunate one who will train you until you are able to defeat me, which not even in your dreams you will achieve... as is the tradition I must ask your dreams, tastes, hobbies and other things that you I'm not interested in them, they are necessary to have a better relationship with you, in my point of view once a waste of time" both the white-haired girl and the dark-skinned teenager felt somewhat uncomfortable because of the way she was so harsh and rude of his teacher.
" I think the old grump is already senile" was Takashi's whisper to Naruto as a joke, but it only made his teacher's dark gaze land on him.
" Did you say something shitty brat?" That question sent a shiver down the teen's spine, and he swallowed and shook his head.
" Yes! I-I'll just introduce myself first, that's all!" He shouted in panic as he stood up, with a rigid posture he looked at his teacher, "I am Hado Takashi, my hobbies are training taijustu and helping my mother with her clothing store, I like various things including sewing, fighting and helping at home with household chores, my dream is to be a great shinobi to give my mother the luxuries she deserves" he said everything quickly and without thinking.
" Mama's boy" a vein stood out on the Hado boy's forehead between what was said by the old man who was smiling mockingly, "Your stripper girl" leaving the dark-skinned boy to focus on the white-haired girl.
" Stripper girl?!" She screamed, offended by those words, clenching her teeth, she only wanted to strangle the old man who was her supposed teacher.
" Have you seen how you are dressed?" was the simple question of the katana-carrying Jounin.
" And you're going to give me fashion advice?! I'm going to break your ass-" before the girl could approach the old man she was stopped when a hand that held hers, looking down she found Naruto who shook his head. head, feeling the boy's small hand squeezing his made Kimi blush and tremble, "Okay, I'll let it go this time... ahem," clearing his throat he decided to begin his presentation, "I'm Kohara Kimi! My hobbies are studying Genjutsu and working with my parents in their restaurant, my likes are music, socializing and..." lowering her gaze she focused on Naruto who saw how her hand was now grabbed by the girl, "My dream is to be a great Kunoichi like It is Hokage-sama!' Once she finished her presentation she sat down again.
" Emm Kohara-san, you can let go of my hand now," the younger Uzumaki said somewhat uncertainly, seeing how the teenager was still holding his hand and didn't seem to want to let go.
"Just one more moment," the bold smile of the white-haired girl made the Uzumaki tense up, causing him to move a little further away from his teammate.
"You know I can call the police for harassing a child, right? I didn't know they were a pedophile," Kimi's smile grew more crooked, and she turned around to glare at her teammate, who also distanced himself to avoid further problems.
"Alright, shut up, finally the last one," now freed from his partner's grip, Naruto was the last to introduce himself. He stood up and smiled brightly.
"I am Uzumaki Naruto. I enjoy various things like taking care of my younger sister and training. I have some dislikes, but I don't really have hobbies since I don't have much time for that..." His two companions were curious about what their young teammate was saying. Meanwhile, the Jounin remained serious, knowing that the Jinchuriki had his own personal problems he wouldn't share with his teammates, at least not for now. "My goal is to protect my younger sister and this village for which my father gave his life... and my dream is... peace."
Naruto walked through the stadium's halls with his usual serious expression. Since his fight with the girl, everyone looked at him with even more hostility. Was treating a girl as an equal in a fight wrong? He was tired of all this. Every action he took seemed to be met with disapproval from many. What was he supposed to have done? Give up and let the girl win just because she was a girl? "How stupid," Naruto muttered under his breath. He was not a samurai, not a knight in shining armor who always put honor first. He was a shinobi.
Stopping in the hallway, he stood there for a moment, contemplating whether he should just leave. With that option in his mind, he turned around, only to hear the speakers announcing that the next battle was about to begin.
In another part of the stadium, specifically in the area where the UA students were seated, several of them were focused on one person. "Deku-kun, are you okay?" Ochako asked with concern, looking at her friend who got up from his seat and headed for the stairs, making his way toward the battle arena.
"Yes..." those words contradicted themselves when he saw that the green-haired boy was shaking incessantly, and from the expression on his face, he didn't give his classmates much hope.
"But you're shaking!" The obvious observation came from the brown-haired girl who, like the others, was concerned. After all, whatever had happened to the class president was serious; in fact, she had not yet returned from the infirmary.
"What are you doing, Deku?" Bakugo wondered aloud, watching his old 'friend' as he made his way back to the stairs, apparently determined to fight.
"Cheer up, Midoriya! We support you!" Mina Ashido's encouraging shout was echoed by the other students of Class-A. Finally, the heir of One for All expressed his gratitude for the encouragement from his classmates and began descending the stairs. He walked for several minutes until he reached the long hallway overlooking the platform.
Taking a deep breath, the young man passed through the entrance door and was immediately greeted by the shouts of the spectators. "Give a warm welcome to Midoriya Izuku, the winner of the first stage of the festival! He also put on a great show in the second stage, and now he's about to face off in the first official battle of the UA tournament!" The joyous shouts of the crowd made the green-haired boy tense up slightly as he made his way across the platform to his designated spot. "And now, for the winner of the preliminary battle! Uzumaki Naruto!" Present Mic's introduction of Izuku's opponent was met with a chorus of boos from the audience. However, the blonde shinobi seemed unfazed by the negative reception. Ignoring the crowd, he walked slowly to his side of the platform, ready to face his opponent. The boos only subsided when Midnight cracked her whip, demanding silence.
"Quiet! The battle between Midoriya Izuku and Uzumaki Naruto is about to begin! Both participants know the rules, and there's no need for me to repeat them. Are you ready?!" Midnight shouted, first pointing at the green-haired teenager, who nodded in response, and then at Naruto, who remained silent. Taking this as a cue, the heroine lowered her whip and announced, "Start!" With that, the battle officially commenced. The black-haired woman, like everyone else, kept a close eye on how the fight would unfold.
"…"
"…"
Both Izuku and Naruto just stared at each other in silence. The two teenagers faced each other, creating an atmosphere thick with tension that was palpable even to the audience, who sat on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the start of the battle. Meanwhile, back in the stands where the students were seated, Momo took her place beside her friends. She had her right arm bandaged and supported by a thin, removable cast, a gauze covering her right cheek, and finally, a bandage wrapped around her forehead.
"I wish you luck, Midoriya-san," the dark-haired teenager wished the green-haired boy as she sat down next to Uraraka and the other girls to watch the fight. Returning to the arena, it was evident that Deku had started to limber up, but several spectators were perplexed as the shinobi remained still, seemingly waiting for his opponent to finish warming up.
