Up until now, things have been going crazy for the matrix in the fight, and when it seems like the tide was about to be changed, some group of people with superpowers have decided to act.

"Who are those guys, I don't remember knowing any of them?!" Kai asked no one in particular.

He was clearly referring to Pine who have cut off Chris's hand with ease, aside from that, they also noticed that he teleported before Chris out of tin air.

"Who cares... Perhaps they are part of the backups," Red said.

"Just get rid of them..!" he continued as he resume with his popcorn. Since Rowling has been dealt with, although he was not dead, but with his arms detached from his body, it was clear that he can't hurt even a fly at the moment. Because of this, the group have returned to their normal relaxing mood.

But just then, so many problems were popping up.

"We have a problem here, I am losing control of the captives," Purple announced in panic.

"What does that mean?" Mia asked already know the answer because right in from them, the multiple interfaces were disappearing.

The matrix knows that for this to happen, it either means that the captives are dead, or their rings have been taken off.

Purple quickly start to look for the source of the problem. It is unlikely that the matrix captives were freeing themselves.

Soon, he found a solution as he could see a young man whose entire skin colour was the same as the metallic floor.

Looking at this, they have noticed one thing, the young man was not killing the matrix captives, rather, he was simply breaking their fingers and he mainly was targeting the ones with the ring.

"How likely is it that these people know what we are capable of?" Green suddenly asked.

The matrix as a whole was confused at this, but it didn't take long for things to start adding up a bit.

'They know about the rings... What does this mean... It's either these people know who we are or he just figured it out by himself,' Mia started to think hard.

Eventually, his brain has finally concluded. Thinking about it alone made Mia clench his fist tight.

"Nate... This has to be him, he is the only one that knows about us and what we are capable of...!!" Mia said angrily.

"What... But how did he find us...?" Red dropped his popcorn again this time with a horrifying look on his face.

"I don't know, but we have to get out of here, we don't have the power to fight back, even at our peak we couldn't do anything to him," Mia said as he was having a flashback to the fight in Panama City.

It was still fresh in their respective minds how close they were to death that day, if not for a miracle that occurred and gave them a second chance.

The worst thing about their condition now is that they are incredibly weak.

"We have to leave now, perhaps, they can buy us some time to the other ship," Mia said as he started thinking about the possibility of them getting away this time.

Meanwhile, due to the current commotion going on on the ship, it has lost a lot of its mobility. Due to this, the second ship from behind have caught up with them and those on board were trying to cross over to assist Rowling.

However, this was something, Kim, Pine, Rake and Chuck didn't need to worry about. Pine and Chuck were standing before Chris with Pine forming a sword out of his power.

Chris was still staring at his missing wrist. For some time, he couldn't believe it himself if not for the pain that soon snap him into reality.

"Ahhhh...!!!am going to kill....you...!!!" he yelled with his other fist.

Unfortunately, Pine was able to form a shield from his power and whenever Chris's fist touches it, he will quickly pull it back.

The radiant energy was so great that it causes immense pain to Chris and he couldn't endure it.

"Ahhhh....!!!" Chris shouted out while his muscles budged. His veins could be seen.

"Did you make him really that angry?" Chuck asked not intimidated by Chris's act.

"I don't know, but I don't see any rings on him," Pine said.

Chris went in for a kick while the two were discussing, but Pine was able to knock it to the side before thrusting another energy blade he made at Chris.

The latter jumped back, and the strike missed, however, Pine was not done yet. With a wave of his hand towards Chris, multiple daggers made of the power shot out.

Chris quickly covered his head, allowing the daggers to hit some parts of Chris's's body causing the latter to yell out in pain.

Pine at this moment quickly dashed towards Chris. He formed a long sword out of his power and was now aiming to slice through Chris.

No doubt, with the way his power works, it will be like a hot knife in the butter, but before he could perform the slash, something hit him from the side, sending him off the ship.

"Pine...!" Chuck shouted. He quickly used his teleportation power to go after Pine.

Meanwhile, Chris had looked up to see who has just saved his life, he could see it was Speed, the hunter with a speed power.

It didn't take long for Chuck and Pine to reappear on the ship, but Chris and Speed were nowhere to be seen.

"It's a got thing that we have someone like you in our group... Although fat, you are faster than most slime people," Pine joked but Chuck was not laughing.

With Chris no longer in sight, Chuck and Pine have to help Rake out in the captive case.

While Chris was busy with Pine, Tel snuck out of the area and then was heading towards a corner of the ship to observe what was happening.

His mind was messed up at the moment, he couldn't tell who was an enemy or who was the friend.

He just saw Chris as fighting against the old man who they were meant to be an ally and also have seen how the guards in the ship have ignored Chris entirely and were attacking him and the old man.

'I can't tell, but I have to get out of this place. The old man is dead, perhaps I can return to the base and report to them what happened,' Tel concluded.

Just then, He saw Cain and Kai coming out of the ship. Seeing them, Tel took a fighting stance.

"Stay back...!" he yelled.

"Wait what are you doing?" Cain asked.

Meanwhile, Kai was constantly looking behind Tel as if he was afraid that someone is coming.

'We can't delay anymore, if nate pops out now, then it's over,' Kai thought panicking and also ready to attack Tel at any moment.

The problem is that for them to escape, they need Tels power to swap their position to the other ship and for that to happen, they need him alive and conscious.
