Four heroes.

Every power has a limitation to how it's being used. Altered humans, it's all how much qi they have inside them while normal magical power depends on how much mana one has at the moment.

Regardless, there are still some powers that require little to no mana or qi to use, its wielder can use the power multiple times without tiring out as long as he or she meets the requirements.

Examples of this type of power are the ones Rake has. The copy enhancement power. This power required a very little amount of mana to use.

It allows Rake to enhance his body to anything he came in contact with, not only that, but it also grants him the ability to manipulate that particular thing his body has copied.

The only downside of the power is that it has a time frame when one power could be used. If Rake was to enhance his body to that of steel, his body will only structure will be like that of steel but this will only last for five minutes.

Within that five minutes, he is required to enhance his body into something else and it must not be steel.

Right now, Rake alongside his three other friends, Kim, Chuck and Pine were in a boat which was quickly heading towards a particular direction.

"Shit... The storm is too much, are you sure we can make it there in time?" Pine asked Kim who was more focused on the boat.

As he held the starring, a green-like creature came out of his hand as it grade tight onto the boat starring.

"I have already told you, with my power, this boat is totally under my control, nothing will happen I can assure you that. Now quit asking me questions before he hit serious wave...!" Kim replied.

For the past few days, the four have been journeying. As for where they are going, it's safe to say that they are about to play a heroic role.

After Nate have conquered general goo's base, the four were invited to join his horde, they accepted of course.

After they learn the possible fate of those that were captives. It has been giving them a sleepless night.

Nate initially was not planning to go after the ships, he simply was too busy with his problems.

However, the four have volunteered to go after the ship. Nate of course supported them with resources which have upgraded their powers even granting Kim a strange puppy-like pet that can merge itself with Kim.

Chuck's teleportation power has been upgraded. He can now teleport back to any place he has been to or has seen.

Pine light sword power could not be used to form different weapons unlike before he could only use it to form a sword.

Rake enhancement power now can last longer than being. Now, he can use a particular element for ten minutes, while waiting for one hour before he can make use of the same element.

Then that last was Kim who just gained a new power. Although the others are yet to know what he is capable of, they could still tell that it's not weak based on how it was because of his power that they were still travelling in such weather in a small speed boat without crashing already.

"Okay, guys... Get ready... We are getting closer," Kim announced.

On hearing this, Rake took out what seems to be a rock, the thing is that it is not a rock rather was one of the chunks of titan shell he took.

"Is there a fight going on right now?" Chuck noticed the sparks of lightning and explosion going off in one of the ships.

"Perhaps, someone is already doing the job," Pine said.

However, this thought will soon disappear from their minds when a notification suddenly appeared.

[The Matrix presence could be sensed]

Normally, Nate does not privilege the system to his pledge horde, however, in the case of the four, allowed them to also make use of the system especially now that they are out on a mission, this will always grant him access to communicate with them.

Seeing this, Kim looked at the others to confirm what he was seeing.

"I don't understand... Aren't this the group of people Nate told us to stay away from, why are they helping those people?" Rake asked.

"Isn't it obvious... They are doing this for themselves. You remember the power Nate told us they have. What do you think?" Kim explained.

Upon hearing Kim's explanation, it now made sense to them why the ship was currently under attack. The problem is which one are they meant to attack.

"Although those meteorite crystal might be useful, but he has to focus on the goal, let's make sure those matrix does not prevail with their plans," Kim conclude and now directed their boat towards the first cargo that was carrying the captive ones.

Meanwhile, Rake power was not the only power that doesn't demand qi or mana to use. Tel power was the same.

His power is called swap and it allows him to swap position with any object or being. The power limitation depends on his sight. As long as Tel could see what or who he wants to swap positions with, he can use his power. This also means that if he was blindfolded or his target was in the darkness. He won't be able to use his power.

It could have been the case right but lights were everywhere on the ship and also due to the lightning sparks, the entire ship was bright.

Because of this, he was able to use his power and right now, he has just used it in casting Rowling into the stormwater.

The ocean level was high and a strong tide was hitting the ship constantly, if one was to fall into the water, they will drown almost instantly.

The case would even be worse if Rowling's body was to eventually fall into the water.

But, just like before, He was able to boost himself into the air once again.

Meanwhile, Tel was already heading for the water, but it was then Rowling noticed him. He stretches out his hand.

Just a few seconds before blasting out lightning, Tel quickly swapped positions with him. Tel was how in the sky while Rowling found himself on the ground.

Bang...!!!

The explosion blasted him out he injured himself. However, before he could send out more, Tel swapped positions with him again.

"What an annoying power...!" Rowling shouted after landing on the ship once again. He started gathering his power ready to use it again.

But it was at this moment something grabbed his arms. Before he could do anything about it, it was quickly detached from his body.

For a moment, Rowling didn't feel the pain nor did he believe what he was seeing at the moment.

"Ahhhh...!!!" when the realization dawned on him, he cried out in horror while retreating.

Looking at who just did this to him, Rowling was surprised to see Chris. However, this time, rather than four arms, the latter had six arms and two out of them were still holding Rowling's hands.

From where the wounds were, sparks could be seen as blood stopped gushing but that was all. Rowling has no regenerative power.

Right now, with his two arms gone, he is completely useless.

Chris slowly started to walk over to Rowling who was crawling away from him, but it was of no use as Chris eventually grabbed him by the hair.

Just before he could leave him up, a light flashed before him and instantly, the hand holding Rowling fall to the floor, followed by Rowling's body which was now incredibly weak.

"Back off...!!" Pine said pointing his light sword at Chris.

"Quick, Chuck, check get to work, Rake, assist Pine, while I make sure this ship doesn't skin...!!" Kim commanded.
