Meanwhile, as Chris was having a serious confrontation with the old hunter man, the matrix was watching it all while inside the dark.

It was as if they were having a theatre or some sort. On Kai's hand was a bowl of popcorn as they watch the scene before them.

He was not the only one relaxing at the moment as Red alongside Mia also had their bowl of popcorn.

"Shouldn't we be helping him, I mean, that it does not seem like Chris is winning this fight, " Purple said nervous.

From the hologram in front of them, they could see that Chris was not with the upper hand as he was being punched multiple times by the old man more than he would do.

"Relax..! The plan is still fresh, nothing will happen," Mia said as he put a hand full of popcorn into his mouth before chowing them.

"Look here... Even if that old man happens to win against Chris, that does not mean the fight is over. Remember, there is still cargo behind us and from the information he has gathered, the captain is there," Mia explained.

"But shouldn't we at least send some of our men to assist him?" Purple asked.

"He's right Mia... Perhaps we should send help, although I would have wanted to enjoy the sight of that arrogant Chris getting his ass kicked, but we still need him alive. He will serve as the perfect bait to bring Nate to us,"

Out of the people who will say such a wise world, Mia was not expecting it to come from Kai and he looked at the latter strangely.

"What... Am I wrong? Do you have another means to get Nate out of his hideout?" Kai asked.

"Never mind, just need to arrange things," Mia said before sending off commands to the matrix soldiers and soon they were already carrying it out.

Once again, the matrix was slowly building its army back. Although it was nowhere close to what it was before, but it was better than not having any at all.

It was not also easy for them to start all afresh. One of their major problems was the materials needed for creating more rings.

After the fight with Nate, all those under the matrix were freed and all the rings and bracelets or necklaces were destroyed.

Because of this, the matrix has to go all the way back to creating the rings again. However, with the few they have, they manage to get some of the ship guards to wear the ring.

Of course, it was done forcefully, and with that, Green was able to get his hands in the materials for creating more rings, but the problem was that they were not meteorite stones nor beast crystals like before, rather, it was a common steel to full that will not give any boost to the wielder.

Regardless, they did not care about the quality of the material. At least not for now.

What matters the most was to get people under them and the steel could do just that if used to crafter rings and so.

With someone the prisoners knocked out, the matrix used this opportunity to wear them the ring. After this, they went ahead to grab a few weapons in the storage room while heading off to support Chris.

However, what none of them didn't expect was someone to suddenly intervene in the fight. The man known as Rowling, who is the captain of both has arrived and he had just killed the old man so easily.

Seeing this, Mia knows that the big deal has just arrived.

"The power of lightning...! That person...we have to do something about him," Mia said dropping the popcorn on his hand. Kai and Red did likewise as they were now taking things seriously.

"Perhaps, we should use this opportunity to flee this ship... It's no longer safe here..!" Kai suggested.

"And how are you planning to do that... Can't you see the weather outside, do you think any mini boat will deliver us to the other side safely?" Mia instantly disagreed with the idea of escaping.

"But Chris couldn't even do much to that old man and then this... Didn't you see how he killed that old man?!" Kai panicked.

It was then Mia looked at Green.

"Do you still have one of those serums with you?"

"Not really, but I can make one quickly" Green answered.

"Alright then, we will have to try to buy you some time," Mia said before he started to command the possessed men.

Outside the ship, Rowling was looking strangely at his men. He has found a few things strange. One was that some of the prisoners were within them. They were all carrying firearms.

Another thing he found strange though was the expression of his men.

In normal circumstances, if his power were to put used, it would usually send shivering down those beside him. This sometime will result in some collapsing after the electrocution.

"Interesting... Now none of you will say anything..!" Rowling said. His voice was loud enough that even with the heavy down pore, Tel was still able to hear him.

Just then, everyone pointed their guns at Rowling. Rowling was more confused at this, but before he could say anything, he witnessed the people he thought were his start to fire at him with one intent in mind. Kill him.

Of course, Rowling was not going to stand and do nothing. He formed a barrier of lightning before him.

As the bullets touches the barriers, they were turning into nothing but ash. While holding the barrier with one hand, Rowling raised his other hand.

Instantly, lightning started to rain down on the ship. By now, multiple parts of the ship have been damaged, but not enough to sink it.

However, with the arcs of lightning coming down, it was just a matter of time for the unthinkable to happen.

Seeing this, Tel know he couldn't stay and watch the whole thing display without doing anything. Right now, the ship was his only means of travelling right now.

He started running towards Rowling to get a better look at his position. After that, he rushed towards the edge of the ship before leaping out of it.

However, as he did this, he quickly used his ability.

Rowling was still summoning more arcs when he suddenly felt himself falling from the ship.

'How did I get here?' Rowling wondered in shock. But before his body could touch the water, he powered himself up with lightning before shooting up into the sky.

As he did this, he left a large trail of lightning that hit some parts of the ship causing some damage.

As Row landed back on the ship, he quickly created a wipe made of arcs and swung it across the floor.

Most of the were hit by the listening, ending then right there and then. 'No..!! I don't have to kill them, master will not be happy,' Rowling thought and retract the wipe into his body.

It was when this happened a fist smashed into his face. It didn't stop there, Chris continued to throughout his fist, however, it was caught by Rowling.

"Four arms... I did not remember anyone in this ship being superhuman," Rowling said as he charged up his fist and hit Chris in his chest.

Chris's body flew off as he coughed out blood. Rowling was about to follow him up since he know it was not enough to kill Chris. But it was then he suddenly found himself falling into the ocean again.

"Who...who is doing this thing...?!" Rowling shouted angrily.

Meanwhile, Chris's body has clashed with multiple layers of walls yet his body hasn't come to a total stop. The punch from Rowling was just too much for him to withstand even with his power.

Eventually, Chris's body has finally come to a stop, but he was not in a condition one will expect him to continue fighting.

Blood gushed out of his mouth as he even struggled to be conscious.

"Dame this whole thing, am I not powerful enough?!" Chris shouted as he pounded his fist on the floor.

"This should make you powerful enough," Suddenly, a voice said from his side. It was none other than Green and he was holding a syringe.

Before Chris could even do anything, the syringe was stabbed into his body and the fluid inside was injected into his body. His body started to feel itchy.

"Now go and fight, don't hold back," Green instructed.
