Episode 27: (Scootaloo Arc) Unexpected Events

Xuĕ remembers a time when she and her brothers Weiss and Wren were feeding on the resentment of Ponies before the Founding of Equestria, but were defeated when Smart Cookie, Private Pansy, and Clover the Clever maintain warm relations, and they eventually break the Windigos' spell through the Fire of Friendship. Their warmth thaws their leaders' bodies and melts their hearts, and the leaders decide to share the new land, naming it Equestria. Which signified their first ever defeat and the Power of the Fire of Friendship placed them all in a long hibernation that they would not awaken until they would be summoned by Trotter Poisonia. With her as their new master by force, they begrudgingly followed her leadership hoping that she would drop her guard so Xuĕ and her Windigos would end the old and decrepit evil pony. That is until she encountered Stardust Memory and her friends after kidnapping Spitfire under Trotter's Orders which became the biggest mistake of her existence as she and her Windigos are defeated Stardust at every turn soon after the kidnapping. It gotten to the point that Wren was exorcised by Stardust's Element of Life that Xuĕ and Weiss vows revenge for purifying their brother; Xuĕ's resentment for the Element of Life escalated and it got even worse after Trotter's defeat when Weiss fell in love with Cosmic Legacy and forgiving her involvement with Wren's Purification. From that point on, Xuĕ has been on a crusade to end all life in Equestria and now she is being challenged by Stardust Memory's Son, Platinum Shadow as she sees him as the embodiment of everything she downright despises the most as she is determined to end the cycle here and now.

Scene 27.0: Arctic North, Windigo Fortress, Midnight, Day 32 of 365

Phase 1:

Vs. The Queen Of The Windigos

Like his fight with Specter, Shadow is being looked down by the monstrosity that the Queen of the Windigos, Xuĕ has transformed into as she gives low growls at him and seeing than he isn't scared of her, she roars loudly on his face. Shadow makes a face that he has smelled something so foul, he pulls out some Menthos breath mints and offers them to Xuĕ nonchalantly which infuriates her in unimaginable ways as this was done to her by his mother, Stardust Memory in the past that she tries to stomp Shadow with her full fury, but jumps away with a sadistic smile on his face. Xuĕ attacks Shadow the same way Specter fought him: Ice and Wind Magical Attacks and her patterns are exactly the same which makes the fight against her easy as Shadow decides not to fight her all out just yet as he discreetly signals Scootaloo to get Wendy stabbing his Soul Katana on the floor, uses it as a stepping stone, backflip off it and in midair, his eyes gave brief flash, telling Scootaloo to get Wendy while he buys her time by distracting Xuĕ. With the help of her parents: Snap Shutter and Mane Allgood, they manage to reach Wendy without alerting the remaining Windigos and even Wendy didn't notice them get to her until they psst and shush her if they ended surprised her by accident.

Wendy:

(Surprised, Overjoyed, Whispering)

Aneki! You came for me! Who are the ponies with you?

Scootaloo:

(Whispering)

They are my parents, but we can talk later. We need to get you out of here.

Wendy:

How did you get to me without being noticed?

Scootaloo:

Specter gave us a little help with that by giving us this weird smelling slime so we could move undetected by the Windigos.

Wendy:

(Worried, Disgusted, Hiding Disgust Behind Worried Look)

Wendy:

(Thinking, Disgusted, Shocked, Glares At Specter)

THAT'S ECTOPLASM!!! UNCLE SPECTER, HENTAI!!!

Scootaloo, Snap Shutter and Mane Allgood gives Wendy a curious look meanwhile Specter is avoiding eye contact after he noticed that Wendy found out what he did. Shadow waits a little longer to go all out in order to give Scootaloo and her parents enough time to set Wendy free. After setting the filly free and moving to safety, Shadow gets himself up to his full power and goes for the assault and since Xuĕ hasn't changed her combat style, Shadow manages to not only fly circles around the Queen of the Windigos, but also overpower her with relative ease. Furious on history repeating itself, Xuĕ no longer sees Shadow fighting her, but his mother, Stardust Memory with that smug arrogant look on her face looking down at her. With her rage reaching a breaking point, Xuĕ lets out an unholy roar and begins to absorb her remaining Windigos into herself and growing even larger and turning more hideously monstrous that resembles a horrific demon of decay with her body appearing to be melting and oozing with puss and ectoplasm like an undead zombie which fill everycreature with disgust.

Shadow:

(Austrian Accent)

You Are One…Ugly Mother[Censored]!

Xuĕ roars in an unbridled rage as she clearly remembers Stardust telling her the exact same thing in the exact same way (accent included) as her memories of Stardust is all she is seeing when fighting Shadow. Much to Shadow's surprise, Xuĕ's power has increased exponentially as her resentment towards Shadow (Mostly his Mother, Stardust) is at the point where she now is more powerful than Shadow's Alicorn Form. Windigos become more powerful the more resentment is around them even from their own kind and/or themselves, but since Xuĕ is the Queen and her power was already on the same level as an Alicorn Princess like Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Celestia, Luna and Cadance; her power got a massive power boost due to her deep seethed hatred towards Stardust, making Xuĕ the most powerful being in all of Equestria and after absorbing her Windigos, her power is now on the same level as a God. Seeing on how powerful Xuĕ has become, Shadow now regrets not bringing his friends to help him fight her as Xuĕ's attacks become more relentless and faster that Shadow can't dodge all of it as he gets injured as the fight progresses. Seeing that Shadow is loosing the fight, Scootaloo, Snap Shutter, Mane Allgood, Specter and even Wendy jump in to help him. Seeing that he desperately needs the power of his Element of Life like in his fight with Trotter, he tries to summon it once again but the power doesn't appear as he desperately is pushing it out. But then he got an epiphany; he remembers what Cosmic told him: that he needs to think of all of those he love and why he is fighting this battle: His Mother, His Sisters, Elder Miro, His Friends, The Creatures of Ponyville, Scootaloo and Wendy; the more he focuses on them and why he's doing all of he has, the Power of his Element begins to surge and visibly begins to glow. Xuĕ notices this as she stops him by firing a mouth blast that freezes Shadow in place as he falls on the ground locked inside a block of ice. Xuĕ laughs a horrific heinous laughter as Wendy loses hope and screams in sorrow. Scootaloo rushes to him and tries to get him out of there, but the ice is so thick, Scootaloo can't break it with her own hooves; even with her parents help, they can't set Shadow free. Just then, Scootaloo remembers about the Heat Crystal that Glitter Drops gave them. Since Shadow was fighting Xuĕ, he couldn't carry it without worrying about it blowing up if it breaks in the middle of the battle. A worried Scootaloo asks her parents to stay away as she throws the Heat Crystal as hard as she could and as far away as possible, causing a powerful explosion that can kill anycreature even a thick scaled dragon the size of Ember's Father, Torch. After the smoke clears, Scootaloo and the others are overjoyed as they see Shadow in his powered up form as the Element of Life which Xuĕ notices that Shadow is the splitting image of his mother as the bright white and warm aura of the element is literally melting the ice and snow around him and this not only enrages her even further, but also instills a great sense of dread within her as she is just like Trotter and Grogar who are opposites to the Element of Life as they are heralds of Death. Xuĕ in her fury attacks Shadow with everything she has, but the Aura of Life surrounding him is so powerful, her ice attacks melt before they reach him; as for her wind attacks just breeze past him. Shadow walks to Xuĕ slowly with a determined and serious look on his face as she starts to fear him. No matter how much she attacks him, Shadow is impervious to all of her attacks that she starts to curse him nonstop as she keeps calling him "Stardust Memory" as everycreature notices on how much she despises Shadow's Mother. Once Shadow reaches her, Xuĕ looks down at him with an evil growl and glare as she refuses to give up. Shadow closes his eyes and says "Game Over" as he blasts her with a massive blast of light that completely and seemingly destroys her. Shadow powers down as he breathes a sigh of relief knowing that Xuĕ is gone. He walks straight towards Scootaloo with a warm smile on his face and as soon as he got close to her…

Shadow:

(Furious)

Judging by that smile, Wendy doesn't have the guts to tell Scoots that Aunt Sparkly was the Village's Teacher which taught everyone there far more than Cheerilee would go without crossing any lines that could be controversial or immoral…but her innuendos were a little too spicy. I'm glad all of that went over everyone's head because if they managed to know what she was talking about, things would have gotten nasty with parents of the village.

Specter:

I believe that one day, we will reunite and when that day comes, we will be facing an enemy far more dangerous than Xuĕ and her Windigos. Until then, I will continue to wander the world. However…

Specter nods at Wendy and disappears into thin air as Scootaloo comforts the saddened Wendy after seeing her beloved uncle who has helped raise and protect for the past 9 to 10 years is now leaving her with those who can provide her with the life he cannot give her. Shadow looks at where he blasted Xuĕ with a somber look on his face as he knows: His War With Xuĕ And Her Windigos Is Not Over Yet, Not By A Longshot; as Xuĕ is in her base form and horribly injured from her fight with him, secretly moving away from the area and making sure to get away unnoticed, but she failed in doing so as she is confronted by Clyde and Limbo.

Xuĕ:

(Weak Furious Growl)

Clyde:

Calm down, Mi Señora [My Lady]. We are not here for a fight.

Limbo:

We are here to give you an offer. It might be an offer that you might not refuse.

Xuĕ:

What offer?

Clyde:

Do you want revenge of Platinum Shadow and his friends and make them suffer a fate so much worse than death?

Xuĕ:

Xuĕ does not believe you. You will use and enslave Xuĕ like Trotter has.

Clyde:

If that's what you believe then fine. See how well you do fighting Shadow and the others on your own. Let's leave La Reina [The Queen] to her own devices and see how well she can do on her own.

Limbo:

As you wish. We will come back when you find out you can't win on your own. Shadow has proven that you can't win against him with your mindless drones or you at full power. If you keep ignoring that is reality, you will always lose.

Xuĕ:

(Enraged)

SILENCE!!! XUĔ WILL PROVE TO YOU THAT XUĔ WILL BE VICTORIOUS IN THE END!!! MARK XUĔ'S WORDS!!!

Limbo laughs as he and Clyde walk away disappointed that Xuĕ is too stubborn to realize that they speak the truth: Xuĕ cannot win against Shadow no matter what. Xuĕ glares at Clyde and Limbo as they disappear into thin air, then she focuses her glare towards Shadow, Scootaloo, Wendy, Snap Shutter and Mane Allgood as they are now returning to Cosmic Memory's home at the Teeth of Amarok.

Xuĕ:

Enjoy this brief respite while you can, Stardust Memory. For Xuĕ will have Xuĕ's revenge soon enough and Xuĕ will make you Xuĕ's Eternal Slave.

Scene 27.1: Arctic North, The Teeth Of Amarok Mountain, Cosmic's Home, Midnight

During the battle between Shadow and Xuĕ, Cosmic is looking out her window hoping to see her beloved daughter and nephew again before moving on to the next life as she is worried for them in more ways than one. She worries about her daughter because she is still a little filly, she is also Half Windigo which she knows will be make her life a little harder since she can sense emotions; and the fact that halflings are looked down upon as mudbloods. As for Shadow, she knows he will be fine, but is more worried on his "Girlfriend" since he was too vague on how he described her. She's so worried about him that she feels that she will pass away not knowing if this Mare is actually real or not. If she isn't real, she worries that he will end up alone and not able to have a family of his own. If she is real, does she actually love him for who he is and not of what he is. Just then, the door of her home opens and the one who steps inside is a very tall mare that Shadow described: Dark Blue Coat, Glowing Blue Mane and wearing a red sexy dress; but she is also wearing something Shadow neglected to mention: An Iron Mask With What Appears To Be A Transmutation Circle Imprinted Where A Unicorn Horn Is Supposed To Be.

Cosmic Legacy:

I am Shadow's Girlfriend. You can call me Lysithea.

Cosmic Legacy:

At that moment, Lysithea removes her mask and upon seeing her face, Cosmic is in shock to see the face behind the mask as Lysithea's Slit Gem-Like Blue Eyes looks at Cosmic with a deep sadness.

Scene 27.2: Arctic North, The Teeth Of Amarok Mountain, Cosmic's Home, 4:30 AM

As Shadow, Scootaloo, Wendy, Snap Shutter and Mane Allgood are about to arrive at the entrance of the cave leading to Cosmic and Wendy's home, they are surprised to see the Villagers of Shard waiting for them there which worries Wendy as she has bad memories of being bullied by the foals of the village.

Shadow:

Old Man Miro. Why are you all here?

Elder Miro:

A Mare wearing a red dress came to us and told us about Cosmic's situation. We want to show that we are still loyal to the Princess.

Shadow:

(Annoyed)

So much for loyalty. You abandoned her as soon as my mother passed away. I should ask you to leave for saying such hypocrisy. But…it's not my place to do so. That right belongs to my little sister here. Wendy? What is it you want to do?

As everypony enters the house, Shadow starts feeling Déjà Vu as soon as he walks in as he starts to reminisce on the day his mother passed away as the house is literally designed to resemble his home back in his youth. As soon as he sees Cosmic, he unknowingly tears up without breaking down like someone in indescribable anguish as she resembles his mother in her final moments. Scootaloo and Elder Miro notices Shadow's deep sorrow as Scootaloo tries to talk to him, but is stopped by her parents as they shake their heads as they are telling her to let him be.

Cosmic Legacy:

(Worried)

Are you alright, my Black Luster Prince?

Shadow:

(Crying, Normal Demeanor & Voice)

I'm fine, Aunt Sparkly. Why do you look worried?

Cosmic Legacy:

(Sad Smile)

At that moment everyone is in terror except for Shadow and Cosmic as Lord Thanatos arrives at that location. Nopony could believe it, The God of Death standing right before their very eyes.

Lord Thanatos:

That's just like her. She's always been a Maverick, Rogue, Loner, Cynic, Smart-Aleck and World's Biggest Jerk…But her heart was always in the right place. Sure she was confrontational, but she never stepped out of line.

We do not feel pity or remorse or fear. And absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

Lord Thanatos:

The reason I was able to save Apple Boom was because it wasn't her time yet and was able to be saved! She wasn't on Lord Thanatos list this time around.

Lord Thanatos:

The Child of the Ancients speaks the truth. Apple Bloom will not be collected until she is a Great Grandmare unless those with the same power as Grogar gets involved.

Scootaloo:

That will be a long time coming. I'm glad to hear that.

Lord Thanatos:

As Lord Thanatos leaves the house, Shadow ponders on his words with dread as everypony gathers around Cosmic in order to apologizes to her and Wendy for everything that has happened between them and even went as to call them "Princesses" as they once again acknowledge them as Descendants of the Element of Life like Stardust and Shadow before them. For over 30 minutes they all payed their respects to them as Shadow is suffering flashbacks from his own time next to his mother's deathbed. As Lord Thanatos stated, when the first sun-ray shines from the horizon, Cosmic's Health starts failing her as she begins having trouble breathing as she lies down in her bed. Shadow is shocked to see that history is indeed repeating itself just like Lord Thanatos said as he sees everything just like back then as his eyes tear up as every moment hits Shadow like a sharp knife cutting deep into his heart, mind and soul. His emotions got the better of him when he saw Wendy mourning her mother's death as she hugs her and Cosmic smiling as she passed away as this was the exact same way he went through in his youth. The pain became too much that Wendy storms out of the house, but is stopped by Shadow as he hugs her tight as he is in the same amount of pain and sorrow as her as they both cry their eyes out. From a distance, Specter looks at the cave as his eyes also tears up with ectoplasm as he flies away in shame of failing to keep his promise to Weiss.

Scene 27.Final: Arctic North, Epicenter [North Pole], 6:00 AM

Clyde and Limbo walk right into the middle of nowhere on the North Pole as Clyde presses a purple gem that resembles Rarity's Cutie-Mark as it glows brightly that reveals a large door that resembles that of a castle. When they enter it, the door closes behind them and disappears in order to make sure none knows where they are hiding. Upon arriving to Blight Terror's ripoff version of Twilight's Cutie-Map Room, Blight is looking at Shadow and Wendy in deep suffering after Cosmic's passing through the map's image projector.

Blight Terror:

Well?

Clyde:

She declined, but we told Xuĕ she's no match for Él Muchacho [The Boy] on her own.

Blight Terror:

Once she figures out the truth, she will run to us.

Clyde:

Why recruit Xuĕ and not Trotter?

Blight Terror:

I have plans on using mindless drones once we start invading Equestria and beyond. Since Trotter is a Necromancer, she can override and take control of our drones with relative ease due to her Black Magic. Mind Control is part of a Necromancer's Repertoire Set of Skills the same can be said of Brainwashing. Having her as a member of our Cadre would be too dangerous. But The Windigo Queen does not have the same skills, so keeping her at arms length is a lot easier than Trotter who I refuse to waste resources in keeping tabs on her 24/7, that is why I asked Limbo to end her. I want all of you to maintain some independence while working for me. Trotter would never know privacy with me keeping that many eyes on her; but in doing so, I would not be focusing in Platinum Shadow's Progress as much as I want to. I am Ancient, not a God that can keep tabs everyone and still have infinite resources.

Clyde:

I see your point, Compadre. How tragic. I feel sorry for them, especially Él Muchacho that has to relive his suffering.

Blight Terror:

History is always repeating itself and that only happens when evil is overpopulating the world. We are now currently in those times. This so-called "Golden Age" brought by Princess Twilight is nothing but an illusion and a fleeting one at that. Once we make ourselves known, this illusion will shatter like the stained glass from Canterlot Castle when we will burn to the accursed ground in the near future. But…this is not over. Platinum Shadow has yet to find the next Diary Crystal. I wonder if he will succeed in finding it in the next following days.

Limbo:

(Saddened)

He really is in too much pain. The way he hugged that little filly…

Blight Terror:

He stopped her from meeting his same fate when he stormed out in anguish in his youth when his own mother passed away. When he did that, he fell into the dark endless abyss of the Chaotic Void. The last thing he wants is for others to experience his fate and suffering. That is why he stopped her. Now…all we have to do and wait and see how will they heal from this tragedy. Will they bounce back to their normal selves? Or…will they keep falling into the abyss until the cease to exist? I look forward in seeing the outcome.

(Malicious Chuckle)
