Chapter 2: I MEANT INSTANT

Damian woke up from his rest in the infirmary to see Alice staring at him " What ". Alice smiled "Not even a thank you to me that's kinda rude I saved your butt out there ". Damian looked at her face and then spoke slowly " What " Alice got up from her chair and walked out " You owe me this ". Damian sighed and looked around then tried to use an ability anything at all but nothing happened ' why is nothing going on? could that all of been a dream, I mean she didn't notice anything out of the ordinary about me so it would make sense " 

Suddenly Damian felt heavy like he was doing a barrel roll in a fighter jet and his head felt like it was getting hit over and over with the world's strongest hammer. Damian sat there with his teeth clenched as well as grabbing anything around him to clench with all his might.

After what felt like years which turned out to be 5 minutes Damian looked around and noticed a screen in front of him.

Damian went over his stats for a few minutes then screamed " I MEANT INSTANT POWER STUPID DEMON AND WHAT KINDA SKILL IS DEATH " After complaining for a few minutes Damian calmed down and thought about it. ' This could work out well I don't want too much of a sudden rise to power and this might be a little fun '.

" System or status window can you hear me "

{ Yes host and please don't speak to me out loud, you might get called a lunatic I believe } Damian stared at the screen seemingly trying to break it with his mind ' OK system do you have a tutorial, starter mission, guide or anything of the sorts for me '.

Damian waited for a bit until a screen appeared in front of him which caused a wicked grin to spread onto his face ' We are going to get along very very nicely system '

Damian double-checked and immediately got down on the ground and started to do 100 burpees while shaking in delight thinking about how Alice's blood would look dripping down her body. ' Thank you system '

After 25 minutes Damian lay flat on the ground while breathing Heavily looking up with a big smile on his face.

Damian got up and dusted his uniform then started to walk home but decided to take the longer route for his mission. ' System what is my goal ' Damian asked while running home thinking about what he would be forced to do.

Damian grinned " thought it wouldn't be that easy considering I did a deal with a demon but at least I know that I have a mission to complete ". When Damian got home he had already run 3km and it was only starting to get dark so he had plenty of time to complete the mission. Damian walked inside his home and was greeted by his mother and then father, he proceeded to make some small talk over dinner with his parents until his sister got home " Hey brother can I ask you something " whispered Lily. Damian looked at his little sister ' this can't be good if it's this little brat asking ' " Yeah what ".

Lily looked down and said quietly " Can you give me $100 bucks please my friends are going out later tonight and I wanna not be a leech " Damian stared at her coldly " You would be leeching off me though and I've already given you half of my monthly allowance " Lily's voice got quieter " Brother please I really want this ".

Damian reached into his pocket then grabbed his wallet and handed over a hundred "If I find out you're lying to me you're never getting money from me again is that clear? " Lily nodded her head like a scared chicken " Thank you brother thank you a lot ". 

Damian walked outside and went for a run to cool off as well as his mission " somethings off about Lily ". When he got back home he finished his squats and then laid down on his bed ' Show me my daily mission system '
