The middle-aged driver, who was driving quietly, checked the front mirror out of habit. But the next moment, he felt goosebumps all over his body.

"Young man! Whatever you are doing, stop it right now. Don't spoil my car with something disgusting."

The middle-aged taxi driver shouted furiously, misunderstanding Li Xian's expression. He thought that Li Xian was engaged in some unethical acts in his car.

Although he wanted to drop Li Xian off right there, he realized he was his first customer of the day and didn't want to start his day with bad business.

Li Xian jolted awake from ecstasy due to the furious shout from the taxi driver. He instantly understood that this middle-aged man may have misunderstood him.

The man, seeing that Li Xian wasn't saying anything, couldn't help but huff and sigh, earning an eye roll from Li Xian.

Li Xian didn't bother with him anymore, more interested in the strength increment after such a huge upgrade.

A brief online investigation only intensified his satisfaction, revealing that the average person can lift around 55 kg over their head—and even less for women. Grinning, Li Xian realized he was now lifting double that amount.

Then there was his agility stat, clocking in at 10 seconds per 100 meters. He knew this was a rare achievement, accomplished by only a few throughout history.

But what truly fascinated him was the sense that it wasn't just about speed. His overall reaction time had also improved, adding an extra layer of exhilaration to the experience.

The middle-aged taxi driver scolded after Li Xian paid him. Li Xian felt a bit annoyed, yet he couldn't bring himself to scold the driver in return.

Li Xian murmured as he gazed at the vast airport ahead. He hadn't even informed his parents about this journey.

After completing all the required procedures, it was already 10:30 am. Li Xian sat and waited patiently until his flight time.

In just fifteen minutes, the announcement for his flight commenced. Li Xian hurriedly made his way to the boarding gate.

The air hostess receiving them was stunning, but Li Xian noticed that her smile, though sunny in appearance, lacked genuine emotion. It seemed more like a professional courtesy than a heartfelt expression.

Initially, Li Xian felt a bit afraid, his fists clenched as the plane took off. Seated beside him was a young man in his early twenties who noticed Li Xian's nervousness and gave him a reassuring pat on the shoulder.

"Don't be nervous, brother! I think it's your first time flying. I felt the same way on my first trip."

The young man commented, diverting Li Xian's attention.

"Yeah, I'm just a bit nervous, that's all. I'm feeling alright now."

Li Xian responded, genuinely feeling more at ease.

"That's good, brother! Since we're both from Guiyang, let's introduce ourselves. I'm Xiao Zhan. You can just call me Zhan or Xiao."

As the flight settled into its cruise phase, Li Xian felt even better. He found Xiao Zhan to be a good companion and extended his hand to introduce himself.

"I'm Li Xian. Since I'm older than you, you can call me Big Brother Li or Brother Li."

Initially feeling a bit down about the long 17-hour journey, Li Xian found solace in the company of someone he could connect with.

"Oh, Zhan! Are you also going on a tour to Auckland?"

Li Xian asked, observing Xiao Zhan, who looked as fresh as a newly picked tomato.

"Ah, Brother Li, I'm actually going there for work. I'm a professional cinematographer, and there's a shoot happening in Auckland, so I'm rushing there."

Xiao Zhan explained with a wry smile, acknowledging the common assumption that he was a novice traveler in economy class.

"That's good to know."

Li Xian replied, glancing at Xiao Zhan before recalling Zhang Ziyi's presence at the shoot. Despite this, he focused on their conversation. By the time they arrived the next day, November 4th, they had bonded well.

"Brother Li, let's add each other on WeChat. If you need any help during your stay, just send me a message."

Xiao Zhan suggested, and Li Xian happily agreed. They found an instant connection and decided to stay in touch as friends.

"Alright, Brother Li! South Auckland, where you're headed, isn't as safe as other places here. Be careful. See you later, Brother Li."

Xiao Zhan warned as he got into his taxi.

"See you later too! I'll be careful."

Li Xian waved back, smiling wryly at the safety remarks. It wasn't that he preferred a dangerous place; he just couldn't afford a more secure location.

With a sigh, Li Xian hired his own taxi, silently showing the address to the driver before closing his eyes, taking in the new surroundings as he embarked on this search for a Lilly.
