I-Island incident

Steve dragged me through the whole facility, showing me his inventions. The underground is enormous so it took a few hours to go through.

When he wasn´t explaining some contraption then he was talking about his past. He lived off the grid in America, but he got in trouble due to him using his quirk so he moved here. There were some problems with him wanting to dig down his house, but it worked out in the end.

We got back in the entrance room.

"Thanks for showing me all this, but I have to go. I was invited to the reception party for the I-Expo and I´m already late."

"No worries"

I opened the door and saw a bunch of robots running around. There were no people in sight.

I shut the door.

"I don´t think this is normal. What is going on?"

"It looks like the I-Island is in the emergency protocol. Do you still want to get to the party?"

"Yeah, my friends are there."

"Ok then I´ll escort you there."

We got back to the basement into a room with a purple vortex in a black glass frame.

"Hop in"

"Ehh, are you sure that this is safe? Can you guarantee I won´t explode or something?"

"Oh come on don´t be scared."

I stepped inside the vortex and found myself in a hall made out of red bricks. Steve appeared right next to me.

We continued on the way inside the hall. There was someone very loudly crying outside and it sounded very disturbing.

"Who is doing that?"

"That´s Bob. Just ignore him. We´ll get there in a minute."

After a while, Steve stopped at a junction. The path splits here into several other paths with rails on them. On the side of the rooms is a spiral staircase.

We climbed the stairs and walked through another vortex.

I find myself inside a laboratory.

"I am renting this room inside the central tower. We´re on the 60th floor. Your friends should be somewhere on the first ten floors. I´ll go back cause I haven´t slept for about two days."

"Bye"

He disappeared inside the vortex.

Wait what am I supposed to do without the keys? The door is obviously locked.

I examined the door thoroughly and decided on the best solution.

*boom*

I detonated the lock.

The door opened and revealed a glass window showing the whole city.

I walked on the outer rim of the tower until I found an elevator.

The elevator was going somewhere. I hope they don´t mind a little delay.

It opened and three men stood inside.

One is an old man in a tuxedo. The second is a middle-aged man with brown hair, glasses, and a goatee. The last one is wearing a helmet and has an assault rifle.

The two men are shocked when they see me and the last one immediately starts shooting.

He´s in my range, so Killer Queen destroys the rifle with an explosion.

The villain activates his quirk creating a metal blade on his arm.

He´s not nearly fast enough to cut me thus he gets a flurry of punches to his face.

"Villains have taken over this tower. We need to get to the top to stop them. Will you help us?" said the man with a goatee.

"Sure"

I stepped inside the elevator, kicked the unconscious villain out, and pressed 200.

There was silence except for the elevator music. It took a while but we arrived on the top floor.

Three men in helmets were guarding the control room. They were confused by our arrival so I used Shot Through the Heart and they started rolling on the ground, screaming.

"Give us a moment." said the man with a goatee while pushing some buttons on the control panel.

A compartment slides out of the wall and the old man picks it up.

"Hey hey hey I don´t think you told me anything about this. This doesn´t look like something you´d need to defeat the villains."

"No, let us explain."

I snatch the suitcase and open it.

"What is this?"

"T-this is a quirk amplification device. I wanted to give it to All Might so he can beat the villains."

There is All Might? Then what´s the problem?

"I don´t know, but I feel like there are not many villains that can defeat All Might. This sounds fishy."

I grab the device and start throwing it around.

"So let´s be honest with each other."

"*sigh* Okay I´ll tell you." He then explains that the government stole this device from him and he hired some people to pretend to be villains so he can get it back in the confusion.

"I get that, but why would you need it so much that you are willing to commit a crime. You don´t look evil to me."

"You see All Mi-"

His explanation is interrupted by a pillar of metal hitting me, pressing me to the wall, and crushing the amplification device. I didn´t have any time to block the unexpected attack. I cough up some blood.

A man with a metal mask comes into the room.

"I´m sure you´d like to talk for longer, but I have to hurry." says the villain.

I activate Killer Queen and push the pillar away so I can move.

The villain walks to me.

"It seems you can still move."

A thick purple aura envelops me.

"That won´t help you, kid."

The villain touches the ground and sends another pillar at me.

Killer Queen moves at unprecedented speed destroying the pillar in one punch.

"I´ll tell you something, mister. Despite me being a future hero I don´t enjoy fighting that much. However, if I have to go all out then even All Might himself won´t be able to stop me."

"Don´t get cocky." says the villain sending several pillars my way.

Each and every one of them gets detonated before they get to me. I walk to the villain.

"I´d like to exterminate you like the pest you are. Fortunately for you, I can´t do that. But you´ll have to experience something more painful than death."

I kick the villain´s crotch with Killer Queen´s full power, exterminating his nutsack.

He passes out on the spot with foam coming out of his mouth.

The two scientists are standing frozen, looking at the unconscious villain and the destroyed device.

"Turn the security system back to normal!"

"Yes, I´m on it." says the scientist with a goatee.

We go into a different room, he pushes a few buttons and the cameras show the robots going back to normal.

"I didn´t ask you, but what´s your name?"

"I´m David Shield."

"Do you have a relative named Melissa by any chance?"

"Yes, that´s my daughter."

"Oh, then I´m Yasushi Kira, Mr. Shield. I was invited to the party, but I got here late. I should go to my friends, they are probably worried about me."

I turn around, prepared to leave.

"I forgot to say this. Don´t do stuff like this in the future. I´m sure your daughter wouldn´t be proud."

With those words, I leave to find my friends.
