Training Camp

When I found my friends at the party it was already morning. We swiftly left and went to bed.

The next day we returned home from the bizarre island as there was an investigation going on and the I-Expo was closed due to the incident.

After that, I was enjoying lazing around. Days flew by and half of my holidays were already gone. That also means it is time for the training camp.

I got to U.A. a little bit early and waited in front of the building for the others to come. Momo and Iida arrived right after me.

The other classmates came after a while with bags in their hands. We stood around the bus stop, talking.

"I´m super hyped for the training camp. It´s like an upgraded field trip." Kaminari

Mineta was looking at the girls, drooling.

"You´re a lost cause." Sero

"Yeah, it´s kind of sad to look at you."

Aizawa came out of U.A. with another familiar figure. Where have I seen this guy?

"Now, calm down everyone."

Everyone stopped talking and turned to Aizawa.

"As heroes, you should be prepared for hell on this training camp. We´ll have you go Plus Ultra."

"Yes, sir"

"On another note, we have a transfer student. He has some special circumstances so the principal decided he´ll go on the camp with us. Introduce yourself."

"Yes, sir! I´m Eren Sandatsusha! Nice to meet you!"

"You´ll get to know him at the camp. Don´t waste time, put your bags in the luggage compartment and get on the bus."

Iida then tried arranging our seats, but everyone ignored him and sat where they wanted.

I took a seat in the back of the bus because there is a lot of space for sleeping.

I was prepared to sleep with my eyes closed, but someone sat next to me.

"Excuse me. Are you Kira?"

"Ehh yeah that´s me."

"I wanted to thank you for saving me and my parents."

"There´s no need for that. If I wasn´t there someone else would help you. Since you are here you probably got your quirk under control."

"Yeah, I can now fight for myself."

We chatted for quite some time until Aizawa announced that we are having a break. The bus stopped near a steep slope.

The whole class came out of the bus. Mineta was running around and yelling that he needed to piss.

Another car then parked right next to the bus and two women in cat costumes came out.

"Lock on with these sparkling gazes!" Red cat

"Stingingly cute and catlike!" Blue cat

"Wild, Wild Pussycats!" Both cats

Hmmm, what?

"These are pro heroes that will be working with you at the training camp. Greet them, everyone." Aizawa

"Nice to meet you!" yelled the class.

"We own this whole stretch of land, here." said the red pussycat while pointing down the slope. "You´ll be staying at the foot of that mountain"

That´s pretty far away. It should be at least ten kilometers.

"Then why did we stop here?" Uraraka

"Nonononono!" Kaminari

"How about we get back on the bus?" Sero

"You need to accept your fate." Tokoyami

"It´s about 9:30 AM. If you´re fast you´ll arrive at noon." Red cat

The blue cat touches the ground and causes a landslide which pushes us all down the slope.

I somehow dampen the fall and look back at the red pussycat.

"Those who arrive after 12:30 don´t get lunch so good luck my little kitties."

"Fuck you!" shouts Eren

Mineta storms off into the forest to relieve himself. He stopped in front of a four-legged monster. It has weird-looking skin, no eyes, and two menacing tusks coming from his mouth.

A thunder sounds right next to me and when I turn around there is a familiar intimidating giant.

With an ear-piercing roar, Eren kicks the monster, turning it into a pile of dirt.

My classmates look shocked at the display of power.

I jump onto his shoulder and motion others to do the same. Sero reluctantly follows me.

Eren runs ahead at a great speed for someone his size. Behind us is a trail of fallen trees.

We encounter few other beasts on our way, but they are no match for Eren. They crumble under his punch and we continue without a pause.

After 20 minutes we arrive at the camp. It looks more like an apartment complex than a camp, though.

I and Sero jump down from Eren´s shoulder.

The titan falls to his knees and releases a steam-like substance.

"Ew that stinks" Sero

"It smells like sulfur."

Eren pops out of the titan´s nape with red lines under his eyes.

"Did you like the ride?"

"That was awesome!" Sero

"Yeah it was great, but I think we pissed off everyone who was left behind."

"Their problem" Eren

"Should we go in?" Sero says pointing to the door.

"It´s probably locked anyway and I don´t feel like blowing it up."

Eren slumps to the ground.

"Then what are we supposed to do?" Eren

"Wait"

"*sigh*"

We sat on the ground for another 20 minutes until the bus finally arrived.

Aizawa and the two pussycats came out of the cars.

"Good job, maybe you even deserve lunch." blue cat

Aizawa unlocks the door.

"Come in. We´ll make you some food." red cat

"Grab your bags. I´ll show you your room."

We took our luggage and went inside the building. Aizawa led us into a big empty room.

"That´s it?"

"What do you expect? A five-star hotel? This is not a vacation. I´ll call you when the lunch is ready." Aizawa

I unpacked my stuff. I got my sleeping bag, hygiene supplies, some spare clothes, just the basic stuff.

We changed into casual clothes and had lunch.

After that, we had no choice other than to wait in our room. We played Uno.

Hours went by and we got progressively more bored.

Aizawa barged into the room.

"The others are finally here. Come greet them."

We got up and went outside the building. It is about 4 PM.

They started appearing from the forest. Tired, battered, dirty, some of them even limping. Kaminari is short-circuited. Iida has clogged pipes. They all look terrible.

Jiro regained her vigor, grabbed me by the collar, and started shaking me.

"What was that?!? You could´ve just waited for us! Do you know how long it took us?! Seven fucking hours!!!"

"Yeah, that was not manly at all." Kirishima

Jiro somehow calmed down and Midoriya pointed at a kid standing next to Mandalay the red pussycat.

"Whose child is that?" Midoriya

"Oh, none of course. He´s my nephew. Kota, come over and say hello."

Midoriya walks over to Kota and offers a handshake.

"Hi, I´m Izuku Midoriya from U.A.´s hero course. Nice to meet you."

Kota punches Midoriya in the balls and with "Ugh" he falls down to the ground.

"Hey, you brute of a nephew. Why would you do that to Midoriya´s junk?!?"

"I can't abide you, wannabe heroes." Kota

"Enough with this charade. Your bags are already in your rooms so come in. We´ll have dinner. After that, you´ll bathe and go to sleep. Tomorrow we´ll begin training in earnest." Aizawa

We ate dinner made by the pussycats. The latecomers were shoving food down their throats like wild animals. It was a sight to behold.

The girls swarmed Eren and barraged him with questions.

Later we took a bath in the hot springs and fell asleep. However, it was hard to sleep in a room packed with snoring teenagers.
