Chapter 141:- 1 on 1 Battles

Soon the 3rd and final battle the 1 on 1 battle started.

The battles were displayed on the board, they were as follows:-

1. Kazuki Yagi vs. Eijiro Kirishima

2. Katsuki Bakugo vs. Itsuka Kendo

3. Shoto Todoroki vs. Pony Tsunotori

4. Tenya Ida vs. Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu

5. Ochako Uraraka vs. Toji Yamikumo

6. Fumikage Tokoyami vs. Yosetsu Awase

7. Maki Yamikumo vs. Neito Monoma

8. Momo Yaoyorozu vs. Ibara Shiozaki

The first battle between Kazuki Yagi and Eijiro Kirishima began.

Kazuki and Kirishima faced off, their determination evident in their eyes. They both charged forward simultaneously, fists clenched.

Kirishima unleashed his Hardening quirk, covering his body in crimson armor as he lunged at Kazuki with a powerful punch. However, Kazuki, using his agility, swiftly dodged Kirishima's attack and countered with a flurry of swift kicks aimed at Kirishima's exposed sides.

As Kirishima gritted his teeth and retaliated with a series of hardened punches followed by throwing the debris from the field towards Kazuki overwhelming him, Kazuki realized he needed to end the fight quickly. Kazuki then used his quirk.

With a mere thought, Kazuki lifted Kirishima and threw him out of the ring, thus winning the round.

The next round was between Katsuki Bakugo and Itsuka Kendo

Bakugo faced off against Itsuka, both ready to prove their worth. Bakugo wasted no time, immediately launching a barrage of explosive blasts towards Itsuka.

Itsuka, however, was not one to be underestimated. With her Big Fist quirk, she created massive fists to deflect Bakugo's explosions, countering with powerful punches of her own.

The battle intensified as Bakugo's explosions clashed with Itsuka's Big Fists, creating shockwaves that reverberated across the arena. Neither combatant was willing to give an inch, both were determined to emerge victorious.

In the end, Bakugo's relentless aggression and explosive power proved too much for Itsuka to handle. Bakugo blasted through Itsuka's defenses with a final, powerful explosion, securing his victory.

After fixing the arena, the next round began, Shoto Todoroki vs. Pony Tsunotori

Shoto faced off against Pony, both ready to test their abilities. Pony wasted no time, summoning her horn and charging at Shoto incredibly fast.

Shoto, however, remained calm and collected. He unleashed a powerful stream of ice from his left side, and froze Pony up completely, rendering her immobile, thus winning the battle

The 4th battle was between Tenya Ida vs. Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu.

Ida and Tetsutetsu clashed, their determination evident in their eyes. Ida wasted no time, activating his Engine quirk and charging at Tetsutetsu with incredible speed.

Tetsutetsu, unfazed by Ida's speed, activated his Steel quirk, covering his body in hardened metal. He braced himself as Ida launched a flurry of high-speed kicks and punches.

The battle raged on as Ida's speed and agility clashed with Tetsutetsu's incredible durability. Despite Ida's best efforts, Tetsutetsu's steel body proved to be a formidable defense, absorbing Ida's attacks with ease.

In the end, it was Tetsutetsu's unyielding endurance that prevailed. With a powerful punch, he knocked Ida to the ground, securing his victory.

The next battle was between Ochako Uraraka and Toji Yamikumo

The Battle ended as soon as it started. As soon as the match commencement was announced, Izuku teleported behind Ochako, and with a chop on her head, she fell unconscious, in Izuku's arms as the match ended

It could be considered a mercy that Toji didn't want to make a joke out of her in front of everyone.

Or it could be considered that Toji didn't let her show her full potential. It all depends on the perspective with which you see it.

For the local audience, it was the latter, but for the people who were now observing Toji's every move and analyzing it to understand the hidden meaning behind his actions as his actions were that of a mature person.

For them, the former was what they were thinking. As he has already proved through Cavalry battle that his quirk is something no other student can counter, and to not make a joke out of her again he ended the battle very soon.

Ochako's parents who were watching this from the stand had a defeated smile, not because their daughter didn't get a chance to put up a fight, but because her opponent was Toji.

They somehow knew Toji and felt grateful that Toji didn't make a joke out of their daughter or humiliate her in front of everyone.

The next battle started after a 15-minute break.

The next battle was between Fumikage Tokoyami and Yosetsu Awase

In the arena, Fumikage Tokoyami faced off against Yosetsu Awase. Their quirks clashed, making the fight intense. Tokoyami summoned Dark Shadow, a dark creature that attacked Yosetsu with strong moves.

But Yosetsu stayed cool. Using his Weld quirk, he made metal barriers from the debris on the floor to block Dark Shadow's attacks. He then struck back at Tokoyami's weak spots.

The battle got fiercer as Dark Shadow and Yosetsu's metal barriers collided, making sparks fly in the arena. Even though Tokoyami was strong, Yosetsu's smart use of his quirk made it hard for him.

In the end, Yosetsu won. He landed a good hit on Tokoyami, ending the fight and securing his victory.

The second last battle was between Maki Yamikumo and Neito Monoma

Maki faced off against Neito, and before Monoma could copy Maki's quirk, Maki activated her quirk and threw Monoma into a nightmare where he saw he was losing his identity or sense of self.

As someone who prides himself on his ability to mimic and replicate the quirks of others through his Copy quirk, his greatest fear is a situation where he is unable to use or access the quirks of others, leaving him powerless and without a sense of purpose or identity.

Losing the ability to copy quirks led to Monoma having an identity crisis as he struggled to define himself outside of his quirk-mimicking abilities. This left him in a daze where Maki simply kicked him out of the stadium

The last battle was Momo Yaoyorozu vs. Ibara Shiozaki

Momo and Ibara faced off. Momo wasted no time, creating various weapons and tools with her Creation quirk to use in battle.

Ibara, however, remained calm and composed. With her Vine quirk, she summoned vines to ensnare Momo and restrict her movements, aiming to overwhelm her with sheer force.

The battle raged on as Momo unleashed a barrage of projectiles and gadgets, each designed to counter Ibara's vines. Despite Ibara's best efforts to restrain her, Momo's strategic thinking and adaptability proved a formidable challenge.

In the end, it was Momo's resourcefulness that prevailed. With a cleverly crafted gadget, she managed to entangle Ibara's vines, leaving her vulnerable. Seizing the opportunity, Momo delivered a decisive strike, securing her victory.

With that ended the first round of final battles, there was a 15-minute break for everyone, whoever wanted snacks, refreshments, or wanted to take a leak, while the students who were going to perform in the next round took some rest.
