Holding the kid I realized that showing him to the authorities or even SHIELD/Hydra can lead to some... yeah no.
'What should I do...' I thought as I looked at the boy, he looked like he was chared but he was probably covered in ashes.
'I can't just disappear without notifying the authorities that I'm done here' looking around, I quickly hid the boy at the room I found him and used some of the debris to cover him making sure not to crush him under the heavy rocks.
Seeing that he was quite hidden, I walked out of the room and out of the house " It's clear, whoever caused the explosion might have either died, ran away, or it was a natural cause."
I explained as the officer in charge nodded and led his team in and seeing no reason to stay there I walked as naturally away as I could and seeing that there was nobody close to me, I bolted to the back of the house, with my speed being at its current speed I was pretty sure a normal person would just see a blur when at my full speed.
Jumping into the house I quickly took cover behind some debris just as an officer walked past, seeing that the coast was clear, I turned on my senses mapping out everyone's location.
Nobody was in the room the boy was so I bolted towards the room in seconds and as I lifted the rocks and picked up the boy, i sensed the presence of an officer coming towards the room.
Realizing this, I ran at full speed towards the exit fast enough to appear as a blur to the officer and making my way out "Seriously it's such a pain trying to sneak In and out with a child in my arms" I complained as I ran away from the area using the buildings around the house to stay undetected by people, whom are still panicking from the earlier explosion.
"Ok... now I have to find away to get to Xavier institute..." I thought with a huff, I was in London... and Xavier institute is in America, now that's a problem.
Thinking this I arrived at an empty park and laid the boy on the grass "excuse me, but is that child okay?" someone said from behind me but I already knew the person was coming from a mile away.
"Hell no he's not" I said as I turned around to see the person, but I was a little shocked to see the balding head of a man on a wheel chair and a woman next to him whom had long silver hair.
"I would like to help if you don't mind, my name is Charles Xavier professor of Xavier institute" he introduced with a outstretched hand.
"Acker, and yes I would love the help" I replied shaking his hand.
Just before I retracted my hand I felt a sting in my head and quickly realizing the reason I shot a glare at Xavier at the same time asking the system 'Can my mind be read' I asked while glaring at the bald professor with enough killing intent that could cause a normal person to shit theirselves.
[That is impossible, the host's mind can't be read by normal beings that have not reached Godhood, as the host's memories are governed by the God that hosts bloodline belongs to]
The system explained just as Xavier's nose began to bleed.
"Serves you right" I mocked as I looked at Xaviers surprised face "I dont want to have anything to do with you Xavier, I just wanted the boy to be safe so now that you are here you won't leave the boy here would you?" I said as I began to walk away.
"He is a... mutant like yourself" I said struggling to really say that word, It pisses me off for a reason.
"How-" before Xavier could question me, I was already gone not wanting to have anything to do with the mind raper.
...
"Hello?, are you done with the mission?" Frank asked as I reached the canteen, spotting my mortocycle and quickly getting on.
"Yeah it wasn't much, just an explosion caused by natural mistakes or a bomber that already escaped" I lied as I started the bike and drove off.
"Not eventful it seems" Frank said as I drove through the roads and towards the base, I needed to report the mission.
"Yeah" I simply replied as Frank hanged up, seriously what's wrong with the people of the marvel world cutting the phone.
I thought as I accelerated speeding past the many shops and houses in the area, stuff are starting to get dangerous and I need to speed up my mission intake, from what I heard from the system a few days ago, solo missions give more BM than missions with the whole team.
Just as I began to slow down ready to turn a corner, I could hear the loud sounds of gunshots a few miles away 'not my problem' I thought as I continued to drive away the gunshots fading into the background.
I was not a villain neither was I hero, neither was I a selfish person I just know my limits and right now my limits were about as limited as can be.
A little bit of a short chapter but i am quite tired and sleepy so I could only write thus much cuz if I decided to write anymore... well you wouldn't like it lol.
