Mutants

After arriving at the base I was welcomed by the presence of the obviously fake smile of agent James talking to Zoe and the others sitting in the debriefing room.

After a minute of my arrival agent James asked about the mission and I told him the usual lie which was the person escaped, died, or was caused by natural mistakes.

It seemed like he bought the lie and informed me that I would be taking solo missions from time to time After he submitted my recent missions with the team to the higher ups Making them want to see more of what I could do, not seeing anything wrong with it I accepted it.

If you look at it in a different way, then this was an opportunity to explore more of my strength and gain more BM, since I get more BM when I solo missions.

Well after the good news?, the team celebrated but with Jack having a bit of an attitude, I guess my jump in rank was a bit off putting to the aggressive agent.

After a long celebration which included drinking and eating which for some reason I didn't get as drunk as i usually do I got some alone time in my quarters in which I opened my status.

I was growing at a reasonable pace, with my current strength I could already carry a few tons, yeah at just eight percent of this godly bloodline am already strong enough to punch a human to death, I just can't imagine the stuff I would be able to do in the future.

Alas I drifted into the darkness of sleep and woke up the next day feeling good, so after a quick shower I was dressed up in my normal SHIELD attire and ready to do some missions, and lucky for me agent James presented me a solo mission which involved stopping two very deadly criminals whom had already painted their hands in the blood of several policemen and hundreds of innocent people.

[Mission triggered]

[Mission: First Solo]

[Objective: Stop the deadly criminal duo whom have stained their hands in the blood of hundreds of innocent people and policemen]

"These guys are definitely not your normal everyday criminals so be careful agent Leo" Agent James's voice warns through the computer with his usual fake smile, seriously is it a must for him to do that?.

"I will make sure to tread carefully" I replied as his face disappeared from the screen.

"Be careful Leo" Pierce also warned as I readied my pistols "why are you guys acting like I can't take care of myself" I chuckled as Pierce isn't the only one to warn me apart from agent James warning, Zoe and Roy also warned me a few minutes earlier.

"I mean you are going solo making the mission more risky" Zoe cuts in as she passed me my pistol ammo.

"But if the higher-ups think I'm good enough to be sent solo, then I guess it isn't much of a problem" I assured them.

"I even have the special made pistol you gave me Zoe" I teased as I flexed the light blue D Eagle that Zoe gave me as a present for being recognized by the higher-ups, which I very much accepted, it was quite a good gun which had a silencing device on it and had better penetration than normal guns but it had high recoil but Leo wasn't bothered by it thanks to abnormal strength (Image in Paragraph comment).

"You always have a way with your words" Zoe smiled as she lightly punched my shoulder.

"Preparations are all done" Frank's voice sounded in my ear making me nod and walk towards the elevator, Pierce and Zoe waking behind.

"I'll be back" I assured as we got out of the elevator and I walked towards the jet.

"You guys weren't like this when I got my first solo mission" Roy complained as he walked out of another elevator.

"There's a difference" Pierce argued, Zoe nodding in agreement.

"They probably have a thing for Leo" Jack teased as he walked out of yet another elevator.

"Really Jack?" Zoe questions the Smirking Jack "that's all you can say?" Zoe shakes her head as the jet Leo was in started to hover.

"Am I wrong?" He asks his smirk expanding even more "you think I don't see the way you look at him when his training?" Jack chuckled as the previous expression of Zoe changed to that of a blushing one.

"Forget it, I have stuff to do" Zoe said as she walked away, Pierce following after giving Jack a long lecture.

Shortly after leaving the base I was now in the sky and formulating a plan to take out the two criminals, and from what I have read about them, they have some sort of power that makes them able to kill people with ease.

'These guys are probably mutants that just came out of hiding' I speculated as I finished browsing through their profiles.

One of them had brown hair with green eyes and looked like a pedo while the other looked like the very definition of a 1900s gentleman, and he also had brown hair and green eyes, they were probably unidentical twins.

"We have arrived agent Leo" the jet pilot said as the jet decended on a landing pad and went into camouflage mode.

"I'll try to make this quick" I assured the pilot, even if they were possibly mutants.

Coming out of the jet I quickly made my way down the stairs in light steps, from what the investigation team found out, the two were definitely in this building and on the 30th floor, definitely plotting something dangerous.

After getting to the 60th floor I decided to take an elevator, no point in running down stairs, I definitely didn't forget elevators existed.

After a quick session of elevator music I arrived at my destinated floor, wasting no time I activated my senses searching the entire floor and after a few seconds of searching I detected murderous intentions from a room not to far.

"Bingo" I said as I made my way to my target location with light steps and reaching the front of the door, I noticed a fancy looking chandelier and mentally noted it.

I was about to break in and throw a smoke grenade but I was beat and sensing danger I quickly jumped away from the door just in time to dodge a big gust of wind that broke the door and blew a hole in the wall infront of the room.

"What do we have here" the voice of a man could be heard as a man with casual clothing walked out of the room with a smile.

"Another policemen ready to die?" He asked as another man wearing an expensive looking black suit came out from behind him.

"Please be careful next time, I don't want to have to pay for the repairs" the man in the black suit chuckled as he looked at me

"It's not like you pay for them anyway" I said as I threw a smoke grenade but just as it was about to release the smoke cloud the guy in casual clothing raised his hand and blew the smoke grenade with enough force to send it flying to the other side of the floor.

"That won't be working" He said as he smirked and waved his hand towards me.

"And that won't be working I said as I shot two rounds at his hands, but the force that came out of them caused the bullets to stop mid air and drop to the floor.

"Know your place human" the man in the fancy suit mocked as giant hands began protruding from the floor and in a quick second they began flying towards me but I dodged in quick succession and fired two shots at the ceiling.

"Did you get so scared that you can't even aim right?" The guy in the fancy suit chuckled as the giant arms reached for me again.

"I don't miss" I smirked as the fancy chandelier began falling on the casual clothes guy stunning him and the other guy.

"You guys are no different from normal criminals" I said as I shot two rounds at the suit guy and dashed towards him, but he quickly recovered from the shock blocked the bullets and out of anger the walls caved in on us but I quickly got in front of the guy and kneed him with enough force to knock out a normal human but he was quick and a wall of earth was protecting his stomach, that was useless though as the knee broke though the earth wall and crashed into his torso blowing him back.

Sensing an incoming danger I quickly ducked as a strong force of wind blew past my head, the casual clothed guy had also recovered from the shock and the chandelier was now at the other side of the floor broken into pieces.

"Fucker, I will show you hell!" He yelled as he opened his mouth ready to do something but that was his fatal mistake as I saw the window of opportunity and dashed towards him reaching him in a quick second.

"Well I guess you will be going first" I said as I shoved my gun into his mouth.

"See you in hell fucker" I smirked as I shot three consecutive shots in his mouth, three bullet holes could now be seen at the back of his head.

"Brother!!" The suited guy yelled as his eyes went bloodshot with anger and dread "I'll fucking kill you!" He exclaimed as the ground around us began to shake.

"Go to sleep" I replied as I appeared infront of him and kneed him st the same spot as earlier making him fly towards the wall behind him but a giant hand caught him, paying it no mind I jumped towards it and grabbed the guy by the neck.

"This won't save you" I said as I knocked his on the wall and pointed my gun at his head.

"You guys were meant to die" I said in a dark tone "you were dead the moment the mission was issued to me" saying this I pulled the trigger.

I was now on the jet and flying back to base when a system notification popped up.

[Host has reached a Bloodline Mastery of 10% which has unlocked a new ability for host, will host wish to test his new ability?]

'Later, this jet might be watched by Hydra or some other agent so it's not safe to test something out of the ordinary' I thought.

[Affirmative]

The system replied.

Today was a quite the day, so I intend to rest when I get to base and test my ability in my quarters, I had made sure to check the room of any hidden cameras and stuff like that so my quarters was quite safe.
