72- Training Camp (2)

Just as Mr. Aizawa said that the ground started trembling as a flood made of mud expanded outwards whilst carrying all the students. Aska had jumped up on top of the bus and dodge the whole thing. He didn't want to get dirty.

"Do you want me to participate in this?" - Aska asked Aizawa, while still standing on top of the bus.

Aizawa kept his eyes on Aska for a moment, "no need. You can come with us" - Aizawa

"What?! Do you think I can't pose a challenge to him?" - Pixie-bob pointed at Aizawa in an accusing manner.

Just as she finished her statement, a flying mud creature flew at Aska like a missile.

Aska didn't even move, nor flinch. An arc of lightning came out of Aska's body. The instant the lightning arc and the mud creature made contact the creature was obliterated.

Aska focused his observation haki on Pixie-bob completely.

Pixie-bob's body trembled for a moment as she felt a heavy gaze on her.

"Aha-haha" - Pixie-bob laughed awkwardly.

"I guess you don't pose a challenge to him" - Mandalay

"I'll go on ahead" - Aska said as he covered his feet with lightning before he flashed from atop the bus.

The teachers only saw a pale blue streak.

Aska made it to the training camp and saw that it was empty. No one was there yet.

'I guess the other two members are not here yet' Aska was going to just relax somewhere, but then he remembered that this place will become a battle ground soon. With that in mind Aska started walking around the camp. He got the layout of the area using his observation, but he still wanted to walk around anyway.

Aska walked through the forest. He made his way towards the mountains nearby. Overall he had a clear image of how this place looked.

'It seems the villains are not here either, if they ever will' Aska thought as he walked back to the camp area. It was still early in the day, so the other students hadn't made it here yet. Aizawa and the two pussycats along with the small kid had made it to the camp though.

"Where were you" - Aizawa

"I was taking a look around here that's all" - Aska

"Since you scared me before, you have to be punished!!" - Pixie-bob jumped out of nowhere as she pointed at Aska.

"Hum?" Aska looked at her. She had an apron on top of her hero costume.

"You will help us cook" - Mandalay added as she walked out of the kitchen. She was wearing an apron on top of her hero costume as well.

"Ok. By the way, I'm sorry I scared you before. It's just that I have to hold back so much power.If release even a little bit if it, I tend to scare people"

The three instructors looked at Aska, 'Is he bragging?'

After that Aska was given a blue apron with cat ears on it. Then he went into the kitchen with them. They were cooking all kinds of food. Aska started off by washing the rice, cutting some vegetables. He then prepared the marinate for the beef they were going to cook.

'I should've stayed with the rest of the class' Aska thought as he wiped away a tear. He wasn't sad, he was cutting onions.

After a few hours of cutting and stirring. Food was finally done.

But it was still too early. Aska knew that the others would make it around sunset. It was just past midday.

Having nothing else to do, Aska went on to the boys dormitory and picked a bed. He situated his belongings. Before he went on to the common area, to relax till the others came.

Just then, All Might walked through the door, "Young Minamoto. I see you made it here first"

"I didn't even go through the forest with them. Mr. Aizawa said I didn't have to" - Aska

"That makes sense. Since that would not be helpful to you anyway… Young Minamoto, I hope you haven't forgotten what we talked about before" - All Might said as he walked closer to Aska

"No worries. I still remember. I'm a man of my words" - Aska assured him

"Good" - All Might gave his signature smile as he left the common area.

Aska was all alone in the common area at the moment. 'All Might is here. That is good. In case of an attack it will be much safer. Besides that, helping Midoriya should help keep this country safe. I have a little brother coming on the way, so the stronger the whole class is the better. Also, Midoriya at 100% might make a good sparing partner. I've stagnated for a while now. I need to advance my observation haki to future sight and advanced armament as well. How should I train him then?'

Aska had started coming up with a few ideas on how to train Midoriya, and also himself. The others had arrived to the camp.

Aska felt them coming from a long distance, so he just walked out of the building and stood next to Mr. Aizawa as they waited for them to come out of the tree line.

A group of about 20 students were walking all exhausted, they looked like zombies.

"We finally made it!" - Ashido shouted

"I thought you said it would take us a few hours. How come it took us that long?!" - Sero

"Yeah! That was unfair!" - Hagakure

"Oh, sorry. I calculated based on how long it would take us" - Mandalay said with a mischievous smile on her face.

"You lie to us, then you brag about being better than us. That's just bullying" - Satou

"I thought you guys did great. I honestly expected it would take you longer than that" - Pixie-bob

"WAIT! Why did that bastard not go through this with us?!" - Bakugo shouted over everyone else. He pointed at Aska.

"Because he was stronger than this exercise. If he was there he would've delt with all the mud monsters and none of you would've had the chance to participate" - All Might said as he stepped out of the building as well.

"All Might!" The students were happy to see their favorite pro hero

"Yes young heroes in training. I Am Here. But just like I said. He was that much stronger. So we need to get all of you up to his level. You all will level up over the next week. We will go beyond, Plus Ultra!"- All Might's words seemed to ignite some new found energy in the students as they all felt pumped.

"Anyway. The food is ready. Let's eat, then wash up before going to bed. Based on your preference, I'll have to crank up the heat even more this week" - Mr. Aizawa said with a serious tone.

Aska can see the depressed faces of his classmates.

"Yes sir" they all said in a defeated tone. Brought them down from cloud nine.

After that the students had a quick tour of the building, they got to set their stuff in their dorms. Some were able to get a quick change before they went outside. They saw tables lined up. Aska and Mandalay were setting the table up with all kinds of food.

All of the students had been starving. When they saw and smelled the delicious food, they all ran to their seats and started stuffing their faces.

"This is so delicious!" Kirishima and Kaminari shouted on top of their lungs.

"Sheesh. Were you guys that hungry. Pixie-bob said as she was running around, putting different plates of food on the tables.

"It's like they haven't eaten in a year. But enjoy it now. Since this is the only time we will cook for you. You will have to feed yourselves" - Mandalay

Aska had stopped helping the pussycats and sat down to eat as well.
