GRAY SMILED, "GOOD. THAT WILL BE ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU stand your ground. It's what I did. If they try anything against you, just fight to protect yourself. Self defense. Self protection. It's a strong combo to have. Teleportation, super strength, and sound magic. Don't think about you being different than your family. These three are far better than fire and light combined," Gray kissed the top of my head, melting me even more.

"I still can't believe you were able to tell I had powers. Since when? Like, how does it work?" Intertwining my legs with his, I hugged him and looked up to see his dark blue eyes already on me.

"The first time I saw you, right when we started on Winterborn, I knew you had it because your waves are strong and unruly. I was able to feel you near even when you weren't that close or in the same room as me," the corner of his lip went up a bit. "It got me curious because you acted weak and kept making them believe that you had no powers at all."

"Since… the very beginning…"

"Mm-hm. And you've been so angry, haven't you? I could tell your emotions, and when you weren't with me, you were always angry. I knew that anger because I saw it on myself. You kept hurting yourself by keeping it at bay, away from the surface, not showing it to anyone else," I swear his blue eyes turned crystalline for a second.

"You can tell emotions as well."

A soft nod, "Not extremely clear, but now I'm able to tell them just fine. Some are easier to set apart then others. Anger, sadness, happiness, compassion, desire. Two of these you showed all the time when we weren't together, the other three were very constant when you were with me."

I'm positive that my cheeks blushed at that, "So, you knew how I felt for you even before I went after you on the Halloween party?"

He giggled softly, "Yeah. I kind of knew."

"Oh my God," I gasped embarrassed.

"I told you, Rose," he brought me closer, almost sitting on his chest, "that if you keep calling me God you will give me a complex, didn't I, sweetheart?"

Sweetheart. Gray called me his sweetheart. I think I'm having a heart attack, "You never avoided my contact," I whispered, taking my hands to his hair. "Even before I followed you into the classroom that night, you never avoided my eyes, when I tried to talk to you, my attention. You never pushed me away. Why?"

His hands went to my waist, tightening my body on his, "I wanted it. You, I mean. But I had no idea if you were being serious or just playing, since…"

"Because I'm a legacy?"

A nod, "Yeah. Even though I felt you were different, I couldn't be sure because you were a compulsive liar and that puzzled you to me. I wanted to see how far you would go, how serious you were being," his fingers caressed my ribs. "I didn't want to push you away, Rose. At all."

Does that mean… "You felt it too, didn't you?"

"Felt what exactly?"

"This. This magnetism. This attraction, this yearning for more. It's what kept me going forward after more and more of you, because it was never enough. And I couldn't control myself with you. I thought you were enjoying but to a certain level and didn't want to get so close to me, but I was wrong, wasn't I?"

His eyebrows went up slowly, "You thought I was what? Using you or something?"

"More like I thought you were letting me stay around because it felt good to have a legacy so obsessed over you," the truth came out of my lips before I could hold it, and his eyes widened as he heard that. "In my defense, you were never as expressive as me, so I could only wonder the reasons."

"Thea, I would never use you like that. I felt it as much as you did, but I couldn't give myself to you like that. Every time I thought about it, you came up with another lie and that kind of set me off. I wanted you to be honest with me. I waited for you to trust me, for you to open up. Because even though I knew you loved me, I knew you didn't trust me fully. And I needed you to trust me fully, for me to be able to trust you just as much," he touched his forehead on mine. "I blame my trust issues, they always held me back."

He called me Thea. He never calls me that. Never. "Sorry, Gray," I nuzzled my nose on his. "I should have opened up with you before, but it was hard. It was hard to stop lying once I started. I didn't lie when I told you, you made me want to be myself, to be all of me with no restrictions. But my fears and insecurities took the best of me. I couldn't bring myself to tell you as much as I wanted."

"Lack of communication. To think we resolved that in a weekend. Sorry for the times I was rude to you," he kissed my lips softly. "I'm not good at communication."

"You're being better than me now," I giggled softly, kissing him again. "I made a mess down there. My family will go nuts. Thankfully we live in the academy all week, I don't feel like going home now."

"Well, my house is open for you if you still don't want to go there on the weekends."

"Thank you, Gray," I pressed my lips on his softly this time. "There's something I have to do now that you already knows about my powers," I jumped from his bed and he let out a complaining groan, making me giggled.

"Where are you going?"

"I'll be back in a minute!" Then I teleported myself out of his dorm.

❁❁❁

In the next second I found myself on the MHR of the academy. Magical Human Resources Department. It's the place where we go to when we want to get some matters regarding our outdorms done. Everyone got startle when they saw me coming out of nowhere, ignoring their gazes, I walked to Kamren Gilbert, second son of the Winterborn principal, the guy who I usually talk to when I come here, because he's not so judgmental, and because I know him from out of the academy.

"Thea Pearson?" He blinked. "How… what… you-"

"Long story cut short, I have magic powers."

"No shit?" He gasped since he had just seen me using it. "Since when? When did you awakened? What is it?"

"I was 7 years old. Kind of a late bloomer. I'm a three-type, but nothing like my family, that's why I lied. Super strength, spatial and sound magic. Spatial magic is used for teleportation. Don't worry, I spent the last 10 years learning how to control it, so I won't do any damage. Now, this isn't why I came here!"

Pretty much everyone present in the department right now heard me, but I don't really care. Not anymore.

Kamren chuckled in disbelief, "Shit. This is no short of insane. Does your family knows?"

"Not really. I mean, they saw me teleporting earlier, but I doubt they will be smart enough to know that it's spatial magic, since it's rare and never seen before, unheard of. Anyways, focus Kamren!"

"I'm dumbfounded, sorry. So, tell me, little liar, what are you here for? And was that why you didn't let anyone go near your outdorm?"

"Yes, yes, it was. And I'm here because I want to grant access to my outdorm to one person."

He arched his eyebrows, "Grayson Graham?"

Well, it doesn't really take much to put one and one together. "Yes. I have nothing to hide from him anymore, so, can you do that? Like, now?"

A nod, "Of course, I can. Who do you think I am?"

"Amazing. Then do it!" I exclaimed excitedly.
