Two

Ina read the informations she had gotten on Rowan her first candidate. His father is the ceo of a water company—good father and an easy going man with no scandal. However, that was not the case for Rowan. He was popular for squandering his father's money on str'ppers and alcohol. He has no achievement to show off except squandering money which he didn't work for by the way.

"So why do you think I should pick you as my husband?" Ina asked as she watched him devour a whole chicken in front of her.

" I am a young and healthy man. I am very good in bed too, if we enter the room once! you will get pregnant immediately." He said laughing in amusement.

Ina nodded her head as if she was agreeing with what he said. She watched him drown his fifth bottle bottle of alcoholic wine without any sign of drunkenness. His body must have adapted to his high rate of drinking.

Ina was sure this man had entered her list by mistake probably when she was tired and trying to rush things, because she would never add him in a sober state.

"Is that all?" She asked again.

"Yes what more should I do? Name it i will do anything for you baby." He replied with a wink.

"Sure no problem."

"How have you given back to the society? Have you ever helped anyone in need?" She asked.

"Yes I have, I always pay for people's drinks at the club and sometimes I give babes to my single friends" he replied with pride, as if he was talking about a big achievement.

"Okay not bad"

Ina still had a lot to ask but she held back, she realized it would waste her precious time and strengt—The man in front of her is definitely not going to be her husband.

"Let's have alot of sons so we can have heirs to take over the company when we both grow old." He said in amusement.

"Yeah we should do that." Ina smiled awkwardly she was trying her best to remain as polite as she could be in front of this man but it didn't seem to be working quite well.

She stopped talking and began to eat her food instead, by the time she finished her plate of salad Rowan had eaten five plates of whole chicken and ten bottles of alcoholic wine. And to say the wines he drank were expensive fine wines.

As soon as they both finished eating the waiter brought their bill. Rowan shiver at the price of what he had eaten he mostly ate at bars and never go to fancy restaurants so he had no idea how expensive this restaurant was. When he asked for their finest wine he hadn't thought they would bring the most expensive ones.

"Could you please give me a separate bill for what I ate?" Rowan's face lit in surprise at Ina's request, he had assumed she would foot the bill for what they both ate.

"What about mine?" He asked in surprise.

"You're a grown man, pay for what you ate." She chuckled at the sight of his awful facial expression.

He thought he hit the jackpot when the richest woman invited him to dinner which lead to him ordering food freely. All his thought was that she would pay since she was way more richer than he is.

Although he didn't know expensive this restaurant was going to be, he had an idea he wasn't going to be cheap either so he enjoyed since it might be his last chance ever eating with someone as rich as Ina.

Ina paid for her meal and she was about to leave Rowan tried to grab her but before he could her body guard quickly shield her.

"I promise you, you will regret what you did tonight. I will let you know that I am a man who should not be messed with." He yelled as he watched Ina step out of the restaurant with her bodyguard.

Ina had slept as soon as she got into the car by the time she woke up it was already eleven and she was still in her car stuck in traffic. She grumbled in frustration at the sight of the long line of cars. If it was a normal day she would have gotten home by now.

She is not the one who likes getting stuck in traffic. She leaves her home as early as five in the morning just to beat traffic because by six or six thirty in the morning the road will begin to pile up with cars as everyone is trying to get to their various destinations, and she made sure she leaves her office by four in the evening when most people have not clocked out of work.

' Grrrr' her phone vibrated and lit up instantly showing the ID of the caller.

"Babe," she said as she placed the phone on her ear.

"Babe!!!" The other caller shouted. Ina quickly moved the phone away from her ear due to the loud music coming from it. It was evident that the caller was in a party.

"Tokoni where are you." She asked in concern.

"I'm at the club where are you babe? You're missing out right now." Tokoni screamed in excitement.

"Tokoni where are you right now."

"Tokoni…" the phone call ended.

Tokoni is not a party person so if she was in a club something bad definitely happened to her.

She tried to call her again but the line dropped. Thankfully she could track her on on her phone.

They both are able to track each other in case of any emergency so Ina quickly open her tracking app and found Tokoni's location. The club was not far from where she was so it would be easy for her to get Tokoni.

In the next few minutes Ina arrived at the location on her phone. As soon as she got inside she found her best friend on the stage rocking a man she assumed is one of the djs. At the speed of lightening she snatched her friend from him and took her down the stage.

"Hey who are you?" The guy asked in annoyance.

"Someone you don't want to mess with" Ina said instantly handing Tokoni over to one of her body guards who mounted her on his back.

The guys watch as she left the club, with those hefty body guards following her around, they knew she was one who should not be messed with.

The ride home was smooth as the road was free, it was already past twelve in the the morning so there weren't so many people on the road.

As soon as Ina got home she ran a warm bath for Tokoni, she knew Tokoni would complain the next morning if she was left unattended to.

"Now that you are searching for the man of your dream you will leave me alone." Tokoni complained as Ina dried her hair.

"You know I would never abandon you for man Tokoni." Ina reassured her half sober friend.

She put on a pair of pyjamas for her, before putting her on the bed.

As Ina was covering Tokoni's body with a blanket Tokoni wrapped her arms around her waist and pulled her into the bed.

"Stay with me." She murmured half asleep.

"Okay"

Ina adjusted herself properly and they both drifted to sleep in each other's embrace.
