Humanity has been marked with Bloodshed and warfare through out its history and in it there have been countless of evolution of Weapons from Hands to Stone tools to Bronze weapons to Swords to Martial arts. However the one above all, the one that gained Humanity the edge over all other lifeforms was [THE GUN].

What the hell is going on?
Why is this happening to me?
What crime have I ever committed?
"Kgh" I yelped and grasped my thigh.
It was profusely bleeding with a bite mark that resembled that of a human but was so deep it looked like it was from a wild beast.
"I don't think it can find me this quickly in the jungle, I should hide here and recover my stamina" I mutter to myself.
"Hihehi"
Ah, I heard it again, that disgusting laughter.
Oh, how I hate it.
Oh, how I resent it.
But.... What can I even do to fight against it?

"Monsters"
I have been seeing those "Monsters" back from when I was a child, They started appearing after I lost my grandmother to a car crash so my parents thought I was just trying to cope with the loss of her by trying to get more attention from them.
But...
BUT I WASN'T.
In reality….
I could actually see those monsters from my birth, just as I had been born, the second I opened my eyes I started seeing them, I took them as normal beings that existed like animals but soon I realized no one but me could see them, They were the cause of my oh-so-many nightmares.
I soon started to ignore them and became quite good at it actually, but when I said I lost my grandmother to the car crash I lied..... she actually died because of one of those monsters started to chase me to eat me while I was in the car…. Unluckily it was successful in shredding the car to bits taking my Grandma's life with it, it must have realized I can see it, but I wonder why wasn't I killed that day?
Unable to keep it to myself I told my parents about them…..but they?
They didn't believe me.
Even if I could prove their existence what would I even be able to do? I was completely powerless against them, learn to fight? Against something that can easily shred a car? As if.....
.
And now?
That same bastard that killed Grandma and now both of my parents... set my house ablaze, is now here to kill me, I knew it!! I should have tried my best to learn how to fig-
"Hee" I let out a pathetic whimper feeling warm air on the back of my neck.
It was the "Monster" breathing down my neck, its horrifyingly long mouth with razor-sharp teeth freaked me out, it was no longer alone but now came along with tons of small little… flies.

*Buzz*
Tens of Flies started to fly towards me knowing that getting hit by whatever they wanted to do to me wouldn't end up with me being fine so I ran away from them and quickly tripped and fell off a small cliff and into a small stream of water.
"DAMN IT" I cursed and hastily got out of the water and started wiping the [Shotgun] in my hand, it's the only weapon I managed to get from my house.
My father came from according to what he called, "The Land of Freedom" ~America~ and the [Shotgun] I held in my hand was his, one that he had since he was an 8-year-old kid just like me, kind of messed up but who cares since I'm going to use it now so I can't be judging anyone.
I can't afford for it to stall when I get the perfect moment to shoot that fucker in the face.

I quickly make my way up a tree and sit there, it's quite a thick tree so I bet the monster won't be able to find me.
Wait….find me?
Yeah, that's right, why was it in my house anyway?
"AAAAAHHAAAHAHHAHAHA" The Monster screeched.
Not the time to be pondering all that.

*STOMP*
Just by it walking slightly close to me I could 'feel' its steps coming closer, every step reverberating through my body...….. how terrifying.
It was far different than anything else I had seen before, I bet I would have died by shock if I had seen it when I was younger but now..... I am enraged, pumped with adrenaline, and ready to take revenge on it for my parents and Grandmother.

"Gotcha bitch" I grin and yell inside my head and clocked my shotgun and quickly set my finger on the trigger as I jumped off the tree appearing behind the monster ready to pull the trigger.....
"Whu?"

*SWOOOOSH*

One of its tentacles quickly struck me on the side, throwing me quite a few meters away.

I... I can't do this...….
The monster had various faces all over its body with the main body being completely black, all the faces around it showed various emotions like sadness, Anger, and Happiness with their eyes closed and the face which was the foremost was of.... My parents, both showing a loving expression towards me.
"HEEEEEEEEHAHAHAHAH"
It's mocking me.
It stole my parent's face, and it's mocking me.

"HOW DARE YOU"

{AN- The Shotgun has 2 bullets in the barrel already and takes two bullets at a single time}

It shrieked.
Shrapnel flew and My parents' face was obliterated.
My Grandma's face came and replaced them but I no longer cared and kept on firing.

It shrieked.
8 more bullets to go.

I started smelling the distinct smell of gunpowder and I had a strange warm feeling rise up in my body

The feeling started to overwhelm me slightly but it was not bad.

I quickly emptied the barrel on the bastard then quickly reloaded the bullet and kept on shooting it till all my 10 bullets that I had hastily grabbed and kept in my pocket were gone and their casing on the floor.
But...

The shotgun broke...… but more importantly…..
It no longer shrieked.
It started to turn into ashes?
Is it dead?
Did…... did I win?
"Heh"
I immediately collapse onto the floor, crying.
Uncaring of how much dirt was being smeared on my body I kept on crying.
"Mom.... Dad... Grandma…... I took revenge for all of you…. But what am I supposed to do now? I no longer have anyone in this world"

I stayed like that for a while crying my eyes out not realizing that it was already night and more "Monsters" started appearing behind me.

I raised my head with mud and dried tears stuck to it, I muttered, "I have no one except these guys huh?"
A shotgun- A replica of the one that got broken some time ago formed in my hand, accompanied by that eerie warm feeling from my stomach along with a wave-like blue light spreading to all the parts of my body..... I didn't want to think of anything anymore or I might go crazy.
I loaded the Shotgun and….
