Izumi Miyamura: Xover

Summary: Dying wasn't in my plans, dying and being reborn in another world even less so. Dying and being reborn with Zoro and Yoriichi's templates wasn't planned either, but I won't say I wasn't excited. Dying and being reborn in a world with reversed gender roles as a man where I had to get multiple wives was definitely not planned. Dying and being reborn in a mishmash of anime, manga, and TV worlds? I might have planned that if I could have. So now that I was reborn into this completely strange, yet familiar world, I had to live in it, but I certainly didn't have much to complain about. Xover : Boku no Hero, avatar the legend of aang , RWBY, Solo Leveling, SAO, Horimiya , Soul Eater, One Piece, High School DxD , and more . Izumi Miyamura: Xover - Chapter 8

"So, how did your Quirk work before you Awakening?" We were heading to where Taylor was staying to get her belongings, she had taken my mother's car as a moving vehicle.

"Oh it was a combination of both my parents' Quirks, my mother's quirk is called Multi-Task, she can perform up to a dozen different tasks in her mind at the same time and my father's is Rodent Friend, he can form bonds with most rodents and they are more susceptible to following his orders, really good at training them" Taylor licked her dry lips "Mine was a bit of both? I had to form a bond with my insects in order to control them, something difficult since they don't live long to form a normal bond so I had to improvise, if I helped form a colony over time they would see me as something like their queen, or a secondary queen, the bond would be given with the entire colony and even the newborns would be in the bond. Once the bond was formed, I could control them all individually, hundreds or thousands of them at a time, I don't know what the limit was at that time, it took a long time to form the bonds" I snorted amused.

"So your power went from a democracy to a tyranny?" She pouted.

"It's not fun," she said childishly. "My control is always active. It was fascinating to watch a new colony form without my direct interference. Now they all fall under my control even if I don't want them to so they have no real autonomy."

"ouch."

"Yes." She said depressedly.

"And what other tricks did you learn after waking up? Besides tracking insects."

"Oh no, I learned that before, my range wasn't as much as it is now, but if I could easily cover the school where I was, it served to avoid the trio more easily, I could easily know where my insects were at any time." she corrected "and none? They are insects, what else can they do?" She tilted her head in confusion, I stopped stiffly and looked at her as if she were dumb "What?" she defended herself.

"You're kidding, right?"

"No?"

"You share their senses, right? Besides feeling where you are, you receive the full sensory spectrum of insects, you can't see or hear with them at all?"

"Oh no, I can't do that, they have very poor eyesight and hearing, it's hard to translate what they feel most of the time." I groaned in frustration.

"Then practice until you get it, goddess, or use insects that can do it better." Taylor blinked in confusion. "Okay, what kind of insects have the best eyesight or hearing?"

"dragonflies and moths," she said immediately.

"Then practice with them until you get it right, it's a good information gathering skill, even more so with your reach."

"But I can't, it's hard to form... bonds with... them." Taylor groaned loudly as she slapped her face in frustration, I huffed "I'm so used to how my quirk used to work that I completely forget about the new way, I'm even used to always having a swarm for the past decade that it's easy for me to ignore them nowadays so I never keep track of what bugs I have in my range, I'll have to unpack old ideas."

"anything good?"

"several things! Did you know that silk made from black widow spider webs, if handled correctly, can be at least 10 times stronger than steel?! And it's still fabric so it's extremely light! I was never able to try it because my parents said it was dangerous to have black widow spiders inside the house, but now I can!" It was cute to see Taylor really excited in a childish way as she bounced in her seat making me smile.

"You know you can get rich if it's true right? That kind of cloth could be sold for a fortune, both heroes and hunters would buy it immediately, it wouldn't be like armor made from high level monster material, but I'm sure it's much better than most."

"Oh, really?"

"But first you have to see if it's viable, although I would recommend getting into some kind of weaving."

"What?! No! It's for boys!" I turned around and raised an eyebrow at her, she blushed "Not that that's a bad thing!!" she said quickly, I snorted and looked back at the road.

"Even if it's for 'kids' as you so eloquently put it, it will help you learn what kind of fabric is better than others, it's a good thing to learn." Taylor grimaced.

"...I'll think about it."

"We'll come back to this later." I rolled my eyes. "And leaking your feelings to your bugs since when can you do that?"

"I do what with my what?" I asked confused, I had to suppress my urge to moan in frustration once again.

"Don't tell me you haven't noticed that when you're... ummm how do I put it... determined? stressful situations? you leak your feelings into your bugs for lack of a better word, you did this while we were training to avoid pain and exhaustion, and when you talked about the... accident, the fear and anger, I could feel your feelings dispersing into the bugs, I could also feel them going crazy ."

"I... I don't know what you're talking about." she said with a frown in thought, I could feel her emotions starting to dull, we weren't high enough in the sky that she couldn't reach the bugs below so that presumably pushed her emotions in that direction "I- this is weird." she said flatly.

"I wouldn't recommend using it in your daily life, but in certain situations like fights it should help a lot to eliminate distractions."

"I don't know anything about my power." she said critically once her feelings fully returned, I hummed lightly.

"Not really, you had an awakening just a few months ago, the laws prohibit using quirks in public enough that you can't really reliably train them until you join some hero or hunter school, and even though your quirk is always active, you just had preconceived ideas, and quite rightly so, of how your quirk worked before the awakening, just reset all your knowledge to 0 and go over it all again, you still have time." I shrugged, she nodded.

"you're right."

"Then we'll make a plan to practice with it as well." Taylor nodded.

"And yours? Your quirk? X-ray?" Taylor asked me, I hummed lightly.

"Oh, I can make the most delicious meals, I call it Food Enrichment." It was funny that I didn't really have any offensive quirk, but it didn't bother me, my swordsmanship and my haki were more than enough. "It's a broader variation of my mother's quirk, which can enrich only any sweet or dessert, in fact, that's how she made her bakery so famous."

"Wait, you don't have an offensive quirk? How can you see inside my body?" Taylor asked surprised, I smiled arrogantly at her.

"A boy without an attack quirk kicked your ass." I said mockingly, she made a face

"You're bad." I laughed at which she sighed.

"And I can see inside in another way, it's complicated to explain, even more so if you don't know the basics, but it all comes down to Aura and Soul" I said vaguely, or not so much, the Transparent World came with Yoriichi's template but I'm sure it's a form of Observation Haki in this world. Taylor blinked a few times before grimacing and nodding before changing the subject.

"So that's why your food tastes so good?" she asked and I nodded in confirmation.

"Yeah, I don't really have to make it though, just touching the food is enough, I just like cooking ." I shrugged, "I also help my mom with her bakeries, she can't really go to all of them and enrich all the cakes so we only enrich about 20 per shop before they open the door and mix it in with the regular ones, whoever's lucky gets to get a enriched one, in fact, I had just finished making my rounds when you found me the other day."

"A Gacha cake?" she asked incredulously. "Does that work?" I burst out laughing.

"You tried my food and proposed to me Taylor, it works." I said mockingly, she blushed "not to mention that people like to bet, so it's really famous, they always fill the doors before opening of all my mother's stores." and it was true, the idea seemed stupid, but the enriched food could be so addictive that it was dangerous, the employees knew which were the enriched cakes and which were not, and they made sure that a person did not win it several times in a row, and on the contrary, if a frequent client did not win it in a certain time they were given one of them as compensation, obviously, all this without them realizing it. "Leaving that aside, we are here." Taylor blinked and noticed that they were really in front of her building where her apartment was "let's go." I got out of the car, Taylor followed me quickly.

Her place was a small place, just two rooms with a kitchen and bathroom, Taylor didn't have many belongings beyond clothes, some textbooks and novels, her study materials, a laptop and some small terrariums, nothing that we couldn't take out in half an hour between the two of us.

"Are… are you sure this is okay?" Taylor asked cautiously. "Isn't that like… too fast?" I hummed softly.

"Oh, it's definitely quick." Taylor made a face, I chuckled, "But that doesn't mean it's bad." I shrugged, "Nothing has to happen if you don't want it to, really, we're just 'engaged' for a joke and if it's not what either of us wants in a few weeks or months, it'll be fine." Taylor looked unsure, I smiled softly at her, "Seriously, if you don't want it we can just put everything back in the apartment and pretend nothing happened, I'll take care of my mom."

"No... it's okay." She nodded as she gathered her determination "I'm not... against trying." She blushed slightly, I smiled wider at her.

"Okay, let's go home" I hit the accelerator.

"Home," Taylor murmured with a slight smile, mine growing wider.
