Curing the Villains 4

"Dr. Otto Octavius, we've come here to cure you. The chip that allows you to control your mechanical arms is also driving you insane. When we place the device we created on top of this chip, you will return to normal," Jack said.

"Battle Sage, you have always been a powerful enemy. I heard that you have become even more powerful recently. I didn't expect a hero like you to believe in something like a cure for what we have. What if someone ever thought of curing you?" Doctor Octopus replied.

"They can try. I've already studied myself. I have no mutations, no different DNA. All I could see in an exam is that my body is much stronger than an ordinary person's. Now you know that you're sick," Jack said.

"I'm also normal. If you do the same exams that you did, it will also show that I'm a normal human being and that I don't have any disease," Doctor Octopus said.

"I know that, but I'm not a maniac like you are now. You've stolen and killed people because something is messing with your head. I don't do any of that. That's the difference," Jack said.

"I heard about Max. He's right. You think you're gods taking people's powers away. You're going to take my arms away because you think it's making me sick, but it's just to control me," Doctor Octopus said.

"You can't use that speech, Dr. Otto Octavius. As I said, the problem you have is different from Max's, but we won't talk about it anymore. I already have government authorization," Jack said.

Jack held Doctor Octopus with his hands and didn't even need to use telekinesis. Doctor Octopus hit him and tried to escape, but it was impossible. Jack held his head and placed the device they had created on top of the chip on Doctor Octavius's neck.

Dr. Otto Octavius seemed to have passed out. Jack had been waiting for this and carefully placed him in a corner of his cell. After waiting for a while, Peter and the psychologist who was analyzing everything that was happening saw Dr. Otto Octavius wake up.

"What's happening? My mind is confused, but it's all so calm and quiet in my mind, the voices... they're gone," said Dr. Otto Octavius.

Jack and Peter knew that Dr. Otto Octavius was cured, and the psychologist immediately noticed the complete change in his personality and thinking. After further research, he could confirm that Dr. Otto Octavius had been suffering from a mental problem before.

"Dr. Otto Octavius, you must remember everything that has happened in the last few years. The chip that was supposed to help you control your arms malfunctioned, and the arms controlled your mind. Now we've fixed the chip," said Jack.

"I remember all the horrible things I did. I had no control over my mind and body. It felt like I was trapped. It must have been difficult to fix that chip. Thank you for saving me despite everything I did," said Otto.

"We have a psychologist with us today. We know that you were suffering from a mental problem when you did those things because of the chip. We'll declare that you can be released, but you may still have to spend a few years in prison," said Jack.

"Thank you. I heard what I said before, what you guys are doing, healing people, there may be more people like me who don't want to do evil. You have to keep doing this," said Otto.

"We will. Fortunately, there aren't many people left to heal after you. I hope you can be free soon, Dr. Otto Octavius," said Jack, and he left the prison with the others.

Jack found it amusing how excited Peter was this time when Otto said they were right after being cured. The next cure would be something easier. Peter had already created a cure in the past for the Lizard.

The problem was that the cure was not perfect, and various factors such as radiation, rage, and magic could cause the Lizard to relapse multiple times. In the comics, this led to the death of Curt Connors. So Jack told Peter that Dr. Connors' cure was not complete.

Thus Jack asked Peter to create the serum with the cure again and they researched and soon found the problem that this cure had: it only made Dr. Connors return to normal, but did not remove the cause of the change, so Dr. Connors' transformation into Lizard could happen again.

They quickly fixed this problem and Jack even decided to use the reality stone to ensure that Dr. Connors would not turn again. Peter called Dr. Connors to the laboratory and said that Spider-Man had talked to him about his problem, but that the cure was not definitive.

Dr. Connors did not want to become Lizard again and agreed to take the serum, and Jack took the opportunity to use the reality stone on him, so he was cured this time. Dr. Connors did not see anything different but had heard that Peter's laboratory had cured Electro and Dr. Octavius, so he trusted them.

After all these cured villains, Jack thought that there was only one important one left, Sandman. Of course, other people also became villains by gaining powers, but Jack did not intend to cure all of them.

After all, he was still designing a special prison capable of holding all the villains that Peter was almost finishing, and the remaining villains would be in this special prison. Peter was also busy taking care of all the work in the laboratory.

The cure for Sandman was complicated because it involved genetics and physics, as Sandman was affected even in the molecules of his body. In addition, EVE could not help, but Jack and Peter had experience in curing others.

Jack was also much better in physics than Peter, as he learned from thousands of books and from the knowledge he stole from Reed Richards. Peter was one of the best in genetics from studying his own DNA, so they didn't take long to create a cure.

Unlike the other villains, Sandman was not in prison. After the Sinister Six's fight, Sandman appeared only a few times, and Jack thought that perhaps he had already regretted his life as a villain and was only thinking about his daughter.

For Jack, this was not a problem, as he could easily find Sandman using the mind stone. While Jack was thinking about doing this and how to explain it to Peter, Flint Marko arrived at their laboratory and said he wanted to talk to Peter Parker.
