There was a silence, Sui Yi glanced at him, "Thank you for letting me know."
"It's nothing... Actually, it's just last night, thank you for... saving me," the young man said awkwardly, scratching his head, his speech halting. The black T-shirt he wore bore stains that seemed like they could never be washed off.
"It's nothing, it was due to my fault as well..." Sui Yi remembered that this young man was the one who had tried to harass her that night, but had inadvertently been hit by a lethal counterattack from her. She hadn't expected him to come over to personally say thanks.
Not inherently bad, after all.
"I didn't know where you had gone before, I thought if nothing had happened to you, you must have come to class... I was waiting outside the campus, luckily I waited... Do you want to come back with us? We could all talk it over, figure out a place to go, or at least, we could help you move. Also, I was drunk that night... a bit messed up..."
