24. My nice talk with Loki.

As I arrived to my tower.

Jarvis: "Sir, I've turned off the Arc Reactor. But the device is already self-sustaining."

"Shut it down Dr. Selvig." - "It's to late! She can't stop now. She wants to show us something! A new universe."

Okay. It's time for you to wake up. I fired a blast at it expecting it to bounce back, so I put up a shield at the same time. After recentering myself after the hit I landed on the roof to make sure he's okay, then I made a clone/illusion of myself, then put my suit on it.

"You know what to do?" - "Yes. But hurry up. You know I can't distract him for long."

Tony Illusion POV.

I flew up and away from my main body , then descended to my landing platform while staring at Loki under me.

Jarvis: "Sir. Are you sure you want to use the mark 76?" - "I made sure it was finished for this moment." - "Of course."

I walked inside and my suit flowed into the housing unit.

Loki: "I won't be tricked. I know you can reform that suit in a instant."

I took off the reactor and sat it on the banister.

Loki: "Are you going to try and appeal to my humanity?" - "Actually. I was going for threatening. Is it not working?" - "You Should've left your armor on for that."

I made my way down the stairs to my bar as I spoke. "Yeah, maybe. But it's not up to the task. And you've got that shiny glowing stick… want a drink?" - "Stalling me won't change anything." - "No. remember. I'm threatening you. I really thought it was working. Darn. You sure you don't want a drink? Fine, more for me me. I'm thirsty." - "The Chitauri are coming. nothing will change that. What have I to fear?" - "The Avengers. I know. A little lame. But it's what we call ourselves. we are sort of a team. Earth mightiest heroes and all that." - "Yes. I've met them." - "Yeah. I give it to you. It takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that. But when we do, I bet we can really be something. Because let's do a head count, here. your brother, The demigod, A super soldier, a living legend who unfortunately lives up to that legend. A man with breathtaking anger management issues, a couple of master assassins, and you, did the worst thing. You've managed to piss every single one of them off." - "That was the plan." - "Not a great one. Trust me, I've seen it work till now, but that's stops soon." I sat down the full drink I poured and walked around towards Loki. "Because when they come. And they will. They will come for you." - "I have a army." - "We have a Hulk." I've always wanted to say that.

Loki: "I thought The beast had wandered off." - "You're not seeing the point. Get off the high your on and really look. There's no throne. You won't win. But let's say you do. Let's say you're army is to much for us to handle, and we can't protect the earth, you can be damn sure we'll avenge it." - "How will your friends Have time fighting me. When they are busy fighting you?"

I smiled as he came closer and closer to me. When he put the scepter to my chest expecting it to brainwash me it just went straight through.

Loki: "What's this?" - "What? The God of Mischief can't see a illusion when it's right in front of them." - "You. How?" - "I'm not just my armors. I have my own tricks. Have fun. Like I said. You'll lose, I can't wait." Then I faded away.

Few minutes ago, main body POV.

I watched him fly up and down to Loki. I opened a portal under me that leads to my lab. I quickly change and put on my new reactor and my clothes light up indicating it's operational.

I ran to my work bench and screens popped up and I check to make sure my safe areas are where I think they are.

When I was done I smiled as my Illustration was about to vanish. I made a portal in front of me that comes out right in front of Loki in the sky and I formed my suit as I waked through.

I hovered in front of him with my helmet off. "And there's one more person you pissed off. His name was Phil."

A repulser cannon formed around my right hand and I shot loki in the chest sending him flying back.

At that moment a beam got sent into the air and formed a portal.

My helmet formed. "Here comes the army."
