Birth Of The Crafts-God

Lucas Yohan, originally born in a world filled with magic and mana, gets transmigrated for the second time into an advanced interstellar world that blends strange magic and technology in ways he never thought could be possible. Upon awakening, he discovers that his transmigrations were no coincidences and is now in possession of the Crafts-God System, a system dedicated to creating a new successor to the deceased Crafts-God, who is an existence with the ability to create anything and everything. Lucas decides to fulfill the goal of the system and become the new Crafts-God, but he's faced with an incredulous challenge; he can't learn magic. @@@@@@@@@ Special Note: The system might appear as controling in the first few chapters, but don't let this get to you. I've attached a few explanations for this in the comment section. In celebration of the Christmas festival, there will be massive slashes to privilege for December: Tier 1 Aperture Opener (2 chapters) would be 5 coins instead of 20 coins (a 75% slash). Tier 2 Moon Walker (5 chapters) would be 100 coins instead of 250 coins (a 60% slash). Tier 3 Star-Lord (8 chapters) would be 199 coins instead of 399 coins (50% slash). Tier 4 Paragon (12 chapters) is now 399 coins instead of 799 coins (a 50% slash) with a 5% discount on chapters. Tier 5 Unknown (15 chapters) would be 699 coins instead of 999 coins (a 30% slash) with a 10% discount on chapters. There would be at least one chapter daily at either: 11pm-12am GMT 6pm-7pm EST (Eastern Standard Time) 12am-1am WAT and CEST (West African Time and Central European Time) 6am-7am ICT (IndoChina Time) 8:30am-9:30am ACT (Australian Central Time) or 4pm GMT 5pm WAT and CEST (West African Time and Central European Time) 11am EST (Eastern Standard Time) 11pm ICT (IndoChina Time) 1:30am ACT (Australian Central Time) If there are extra/bonus chapters, it would also be uploaded during these times. Building a Business Empire with my Technological System

Michael Reyes is your typical college student, caught in the relentless cycle of balancing studies and part-time work. I've read up to ch. 600 Initially takes places in the Universe of the Kepler Empire where the MC is reincarnated into the baby of a drug addicted looney mother with amnesia of his previous life that he slowly regains with time. The pacing for the prologue of the story from the mc's birth and until he's graduated the military academy as a crusader mecha pilot leading his own company is lightning fast which is great as nothing gets stale during that section. During his time at the academy he becomes unspoken friends or battle buddies with the female lead due to them being their only rivals and similar A-rank system compatibly. The novel take heavy inspirations from WH40K mecha classifications and design, infantry being fodder, commissars, inquisitors, and emperor. With the WH40K style of military it gives the early engagements with the mc a gritty vibe. From the academy and till now him and the female lead have been through it all together every step of the way with some flirting here and there that now seeing them finally hit 3rd base felt very special. The only negative of this novel is that it's getting boring that the interesting mecha combat and strategizing is being interspersed with 3 dozen chapters of introducing various new tech and socializing with characters you don't need to remember the name of(envoy's aren't even given a name lol how lazy). Once the advent of the colony ship arc the story has taken a steep downturn in effort and it appears that the author has become lazy and greedy, as the recent chapters as of late have been full of useless chatter and dialogue with the purpose of padding out the chapter with otherwise microscopic level of substance. It's take 3 or more chapters to get the same substance of a regular chapter. This author needs to shape up or I'm dropping this novel.

I liked this story... up to a point. If you are interested in mechs, mech battles and upgrades, this is a story you'll definitely like. This story painted the lifestyle so well it almost made me go out and purchase the latest Mechwarrior game out on Steam! The world background makes sense, the character backgrounds are interesting and a bit mysterious, and their progression makes sense and is consistent. The only thing that was off for me was their emotional states. Most of the time, the emotional reactions of the characters are within human norms and are believable. Kids get frustrated with their parents, or are wary about their teachers, or have a love of mechs because they are "cool". It's later on in the story that I have some issues. When a big loss hits our main character, he doesn't seem sad per se. He just stays around to do what he can then moves on to complete his task. There is little to no reflection of him mourning that loss or that loss affecting him emotionally or inhibiting him. Later, he finds what he has lost but there is no sense of real relief from him. It's just another day, it seems, and life goes on. The same thing happens to the other characters around him. They encounter losses but don't really feel the loss. It's almost like they are brainwashed or on drugs. Or it is just a tragic story that happened on the news. It doesn't affect how they live their lives (even though it happened to them or people they knew). So while overall I'd rate the story as a 4, I am dropping reading this story because of the lack of emotional development of the characters. If you don't really care about that sort of thing and love mech stories, it's worth a read.
