Chapter 34. Go to Mrs. Lin's Shop

When Nana leaves with the jewelries, Linda calls Kevin in a hurry.

Thinking about what Nana talked to her, she could not help but mutter: "You say I value sex over friends, who do I have sex with? There is no sex."

Linda says loudly: "I said that it is not dangerous. The painting you gave my mom was stolen. We can't find the thief right now, only with the surveillance video on hand. Can you help find this man and retrieve the painting? "

"Who's so bold as to steal my mother-in-law's painting? " 

"My mother said she really likes the painting, and now that it's gone, she's very sad. She didn't even tell my dad or my brother about the missing painting, so could you help to find it quietly?"

"Don't worry, honey, let me take care of this. Don't worry, I will find the thief and find my mother-in-law's painting."

"Can I ask my mom to send you the surveillance video?" 

Kevin wants to see Linda: "Then can you accompany me to my mother-in-law's shop? Let me get this straight. I want to see you too."

All things are coming together. Audition tomorrow is the first important thing to do. But I get Mom's painting to deal with too. Fortunately, I have been studying the script well and I have confidence for myself. OK, just go with Mom's painting first.

She promises: "All right. When will you be free today? I'll go with you."

In fact, when receiving Linda's phone call, Kevin is having staff meeting. After receiving Linda's phone call, he directly leaves all the employees in the conference room and goes to his private office to answer the phone.

The employees in the conference room are whispering to each other.

After Kevin finishes the phone, he comes back to the conference room and announces: "Today's meeting is over."

The employees are all happy, the company's recent project is not going well, everyone thought they would be severely criticized by the boss, but a phone call, a lovely angel, saves them in fire and water. After a while, Assistant Chen has driven with Kevin and reached Linda's villa.

Kevin opens his mouth: "Chen, you wait for me. I'll be right back."

"Yes, boss."

Kevin knocks and the door opens.

Assistant Chen sees Kevin into the door, and then a hug to Linda. Afraid that Linda will see him in an embarrassment, Assistant Chen quickly closes the car window and turns his head to the other side to see the scenery.

Seeing Kevin comes so timely, Linda responds to him with a happy hug.

Kevin begins the talk: "Then we hurry to aunt's shop."

She hands the coat to Kevin: "Your coat, take it well, remember to take your personal belongings next time, so as not to make me be misunderstood?"

"Who misunderstood my fiancee?"

"It's Nana. She thought you and me spent the night together."

Kevin laughs in his sleeves: "It will be soon."

She hasn't found the little box in my pocket, or she's just acting like she doesn't know.

"What did you say? "Linda's eyes widen.

"It's all right, let's go now. " Kevin pushes Linda out of the door.

Mrs. Lin is usually in the shop at this time in the morning, so they do not make an appointment with her, they go to Mrs. Lin's shop directly.

When they appear in Mrs. Lin's shop, Mrs. Lin is shocked.

"Why didn't you two tell me in advance? Come in and have a seat."

"Mommy, it's a surprise for you. We'll talk inside."

Mrs. Lin hangs a sign directly on the door that says "The most distinguished guest". Then she closes the door and leads them to the tearoom.

Mrs. Lin pours a cup of good Pu-erh tea for her daughter and son-in-law.

"Kevin, try the new tea that just arrived, it tastes great." 

Kevin takes a sip: "Aunt's taste in tea is really professional, really good tea." 

Mrs. Lin looks at her son-in-law in front of her. He is so handsome and his mouth is so sweet. The more she looks at him, the more she likes him.

Linda opens her mouth: "Mom, I told Kevin about your lost painting, and he comes to help you find the painting. Will you blame me for it?"

Speaking of paintings, the smile on Mrs. Lin's face disappears immediately.

"Blame it all on me, I was too imprudent to lose such a valuable painting. It's my baby. Kevin, thanks for helping me. But you're going to keep it a secret for me, OK? I don't want too many people to know about it. Don't even tell Mr. Lin or Jacky."

Kevin pacifies Mrs. Lin quickly: "Aunt, don't be sad. Even if it needs to dig three feet of ground, I will help you find this thief. I'm sure I'll find your painting. You can rest assured."

Linda reminds quickly: "Mom, where is the surveillance record? Bring it up and let Kevin see it."
