Library & Lake

(Ima change my style of writing, it'll make the chapters longer and I can get them done faster. Also i'm going to change the main character's name sorry for the inconvenience lmao, I just don't like writing the name in the new style it flows weirdly in my opinion. Enjoy!)

Getting to the library, Ren checks his notes. ¨I got everything.¨ Going to a different section, he finds a few charm books. Grabbing them and walking to his seat, he notices Hermione on the opposite side of the table with a book.

¨Hey.¨ Sitting down, he opens one of his new charms books. Peeking at Hermione, he starts asking her questions.

¨Any reason why you were with Ron the other day?¨Having an interest in the recent fight, he looks at Hermione with expectant eyes. Blankly looking up from her book. Her eyes focus on him.

¨I didn't have any reason to be with him because I saw him alone. If you want to figure out what happen, how about you go ask him?¨

Responding in her usual tone, they sit there, flipping through their books. Maintaining a sense of silence. Hermione puts down her book to look at Ren. Seeing him pull out his wand.

¨What are you doing?¨ Interested in what he is doing, she pays attention to his every move.

¨I am performing a spell currently.¨

Getting excited, she moves right beside him.

Looking at the book he is reading. Hermione asks him about the spell. ¨It's just a simple spell called ¨Accio.¨

Getting an understanding of the charm. Pulling out her wand, she reads the incantation. Performing the spell together now. They both focus.

Saying the spell and practicing the right wand movements. They spend the next hour getting used to it.

Getting a successful cast. Hermione does it first, ¨Accio notes.¨ Teleporting Ren notes to her. She cheers silently. After 30 more tries, Ren does it too. ¨Accio, book.¨ Teleporting Hermione's book, Ren falls. ¨I finally did it.¨ Rubbing his back suddenly, ¨Maybe you're bad at charms.¨ Getting told that, he just silently stares at her.

¨I am Even though I performed Leviosa in class, I practiced that spell for at least a month. I am not talented one bit.¨ Putting up her book, ¨Come with me real quick.¨ Listening to her, they both leave the library.

¨Where are we going?¨ ¨Somewhere I like to go to think.¨ Sneaking past some teachers and students, we go through a corridor. Through the corridor is a door that leads outside.

Getting outside, we walk towards the forbidden forest.

¨I found this place when we got here.¨ Still walking, ¨Interesting.¨ With that being the only word he says, they keep going. Entering the woods, they avoid branches while going further in.

Coming close to a lake, she finds a rock. Sitting down on it, she pats it to tell Ren to sit by her.

Taking a seat by her, they both stare at the lake. ¨You seem different compared to how I first met you.¨

¨I was just excited.¨ Continuing the conversation, ¨You think animals live down here?¨

¨I don't know, you should check.¨ Replying with a snarky comment, Hermione takes it to heart.

Pulling out her wand while smiling, she points it at the lake.

¨Accio fish!¨ Using the spell, nothing happens. Both of them try this time, but nothing works. ¨Well, we can safely assume it can't be used on living beings." Laughing at that, they both sit back down.

Sitting in silence, Hermione breaks it.

¨Don't you think Magic can bring you everything you ever wanted?" Seeing her reach her hand into the sky, Ren stays silent.¨Magic has many possibilities, like making someone come back to life.¨

¨I don't think Magic is that powerful or at least something we can reach.¨ Taking her hand, Ren moves his face from her. ¨Listen, this world is filled with plenty of Magic." Feeling a surge of Magic, Ren waves his hand. Levitating the fish and water surrounding it, he smiles at Hermione.

Smiling back at him, ¨What kind of Magic is this?" Walking around the lake, getting immersed in his Magic. They both spend a little bit more time together.

¨We should get back Hermione.¨ Snapping back into reality, they both run out of the forest. They get past all the trees and back into the view of the castle.

Getting to a path, they pass by silently. Maintaining a sense of silence, they finally get back to the door they sneaked out from. Looking at each other, they make a run to their respective houses.
