While everyone was discussing their future plans, Alex returned to the private room he had paid for on the ship he was sailing and with a thought opened the random casket of gold he received for completing the quest he was given.

A small golden casket appeared in front of him and slowly opened letting out an intense light, but for some reason, it didn't bother the eyes, it just didn't allow the shining object to be seen.

Seconds later the light dimmed and a floating card appeared in front of him. Alex reached out and reached for the card. After seeing it for a while, the emotion on his face could not be hidden because he had received something very good, but before he could celebrate, he noticed that the screen in the sky was notified.

As Alex tested his new Haki the flaming screen in the sky lit up and sent out a message.

Everyone was stunned. It was a simple quest and there was no mention of what the rewards would be, so they didn't know whether to accept it or not. Those were the thoughts of the novices or stupid because everyone who knew what Haki was, knew how big Alex's reward was, so they wasted no time and organized to fish.

Everyone cheered excitedly for the competition, except for Teach. This man was cunning and had only one target, the devil fruit of darkness, which had been obtained by Thatch the commander of the 4th division of the Whitebeard pirates, and was planning to steal it.

Whitebeard's crew was not the only ones preparing to compete in this mission. Pretty much everyone with a bit of knowledge would take part in this mission.

Even rookie pirates like Luffy's crew, Buggy, and even Arlong prepared to participate because although they didn't know what was the Haki that Alex had received, they knew that in the mission they had participated in, they received a strange serum that helped them improve their strength.

Although Arlong failed to get a reward in that event, he knew how extraordinary the serum was and regretted not getting it, so he was determined to win a reward this time.

For a competition like this, the fish-men should have an advantage, but the mission was fair, nothing could be used apart from the fishing rod, so their advantages were nullified, but they couldn't do anything and try because they had some advantages like the 6 arms of Hachi.

Time passed quickly and soon 24 hours passed, ending the fishing event and everyone was expecting what would happen, but while everyone was excited the Whitebeard crew was furious and worried.
