Game of Thrones: Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken

This is just me scribbling nonsense, don't take it too seriously... Basically, MC is a Martell, he was born before the war of the usurper and right after the war of the nine penny kings. he would lead the Dornish to the road of independence, with guns and cannons... MC x Ashara, not a harem. This is more of an idea rather than a full story, you can tell by the way I wrote it, so I probably won't update this at all. also, it's an IDEA, don't complain about short chapters, I'll turn it into a full story once my other fanfic is finished, assuming that nobody wants to pick it up. lots of cringy sentences, illogical events, etc. you have been warned lol. if anyone wants to refine it or rewrite it entirely, feel free to do so. I don't own anything, including the cover.

A Journey to Remember

It was the middle of the year 282 AC, the Rebellion was slowly gathering its forces. Lord Jon Arryn had taken over Gulltown, securing the Rebellion's foothold in the Vale,, and Robert Baratheon was marching his army to Summerhall to ambush the loyalist forces there.

Meanwhile, it was a quiet afternoon in Sunspear. The sounds of clanking metal were heard echoing throughout the place, the smell of smoke and the sea filled the air, and servants and smallfolk alike were busy with their tasks.

It was a calm day that day, everyone was minding their business, and no one was making a scene or disturbing the masses.

Until it wasn't.

Suddenly, shouts came from the castle, it was the shouts of a woman and a man, seemingly arguing between themselves. Their shouting was so loud that the entire palace could hear it.

It was Prince Morian, wearing the Dornish yellow battle armour, a red cloak wrapping his body, and a turban wrapping around his head

"I told you Ashara, I'm not going to do anything to your brother!" shouted the prince.

"Then why are you bringing a rifle with you?!" questioned Ashara.

"Well. he's with the other Kingsguard! And this is the Dornish lands we're talking about!"

"Where are you going anyway?!" shouted Ashara once again.

Morian calmed down, and looked at Ashara calmly. "That is a secret."

Ashara then stared at him with her haunting purple eyes, and said. "My prince, I'm coming with you."

Morian was surprised. "Ashara, you're pregnant! And it's dangerous!"

"I do not care if it's dangerous, I can defend myself, you taught me how to shoot a gun, and as for the pregnancy, I believe the baby's stronger than you think." she said insistently.

Morian shook his head in refusal. "I refused to bring you with me."

"And I refuse your refusal." denied Ashara, glaring at Morian.

The Prince was gobsmacked at the logic. "Ashara, I'm your husband, I order you to stay here, you're pregnant with our child!"

"Morian, this is my brother we're talking about! It is not that I don't believe your persuasive skills, but he is a headstrong man, and I believe only I can convince him to go home."

Morian sighed. "Ashara, even if I allow you to come, we have no time to set up a carriage and the bodyguards for that. I must hurry."

"Then I can ride with you on Athena, just like we used to." said Ashara shamelessly.

"We are not children anymore Ashara! I cannot guarantee the safety of the baby if that's the case." argued Morian to his wife.

"I trust you Morian, please, let me see my brother." pleaded Ashara.

Morian stared at her eyes, seemingly genuine at the pleading. He then sighed, and looked at the servant who was standing awkwardly behind Ashara.

"Prepare her clothes for travels, pack me some more food, the nutritious ones if possible." he said to the servant, making Ashara gleaming in happiness.

"My prince, Lady Mellario advised that-"

"Yes, I know, but I'll make sure the baby is safe." cut Morian off. The servants just nodded hurriedly and walked towards the palace, bringing some more supplies.

Morian then looked at Ashara. "Go change to something more nimble and lighter, wear a headscarf, and don't wear something that is too tight at the belly."

Ashara nodded. "Thank you Morian, I'll follow your words, I promise."

She then ran off to the castle to get dressed, while Morian waited outside with Athena. He realigned the things on her to make Ashara fit, and dropped a couple of non-essential things so Athena won't be overburdened, like he's old bow that he kept for good luck charm, and his collection of books to entertain him in the journey.

Not a moment later, Ashara had come with his bag of supplies, it wasn't much, only the necessity like Morian said. Morian then arranged the new things Ashara brought and put it on Athena.

Morian then took off a holster from his waist and gave it to Ashara, it was a custom-made revolver that Morian ordered for himself. "Use this for emergencies," he said to her.

"What's this? It's a lot shorter than those rifles…" questioned her.

"It's a revolver, same principle, I'll teach you how to use it on the way."

"Again, where are we going?" questioned Ashara.

"Prince's pass." said Morian. "Don't ask anything more."

Ashara just nodded. And both of them hop onto Athena. Ashara wrapped her arms around Morian, and the two rode off from Sunspear, towards the Prince's pass.

"It's been a while since we've ridden like this." commented Ashara casually.

"I believe the last time was at Starfall, my lady." nodded Morian.

"You were less… strict then." commented Ashara again.

Morian was amused. "Meaning?"

"Not that it's bad or anything… I certainly like this side of you… but I miss our childhood."

Morian hummed. "Childhood is a time of innocence, where everything is much simpler and fun, you have a reason to miss it, as now, we have responsibilities to take care of."

"You're right…" nodded Ashara, putting her head on Morian's shoulder. "What do you think is going to happen from now on?"

"We are mere mortals, Ashara, we do not know what fate will bring us, but, I might have some clues about the future."

"What?"

Prince Morian then continued to explain a story, but alas, Lady Ashara didn't write about what he had actually said, and he brought that secret to her grave.
