In the Dome

I can't deny that I'm surprised, two elves are standing in front of us, though I don't feel hostility emanating from them, yet why? 

Was the arrow deliberately shot at us?

So much hasn't happened, it's only been a few minutes since that moment and yet they're already here. 

Lilith is being cautious with this sudden intervention. 

But before she could even answer a small sign of chaotic energy started to grow inside both Elves, but they are still bowing slightly towards us and don't seem to have noticed it. 

Suddenly the chaotic energy inside them expanded, it quickly created a water barrier in front of us and Lilith joined her body with mine, to be as close as possible. 

The elves almost instantly exploded on the spot, blood scattered in the surroundings, visors and parts of her body began to crash against the walls of the structures leaving the blood behind. 

-Lilith? Is that normal?

I turned my gaze to Lilith who has her scarlet eyes wide open in surprise.

I removed the water barrier in front of us. 

-I really... I have no idea.

If Lilith doesn't know, that makes it more complicated, neither Anastasia and Aisha are present even more than that where are they? 

We didn't get too far from that kind of marketplace Should we go back? 

As I thought to myself 

A great deal of murderous intent is emanating from Lilith. 

-They... 

Lilith closed her eyes her body was trembling slightly and her fists were clenched tightly.

After saying that, Lilith kicked the ground and moved to the roof of the house next to us, I quickly followed her worriedly. 

-Hey, what's wrong?

The landscape in front of us could not be described in any other way than "This is a massacre" near the center of the city the collapsed buildings were more common, but, what caught my attention the most was the amount of blood that infested the surroundings, mutilated bodies, skeletons, crucified elves strung together as if they were on display, as if it was a threat to anyone who thought of entering that area, however Lilith was staring at the horizon as if she was trying to perceive the slightest change.

She was angry, her expression was serious but cold, I could see small water droplets forming around her. 

As I watched Lilith closely, the lily on my left forearm manifested with a slight purple glow, Lilith who was silent so far turned her gaze towards me, the lily on her forearm also had a slight glow, her unique beauty, her black hair, her scarlet eyes staring at me Are we resonating? I don't understand.

-Can you tell me what's going on?

-I found a trace, probably who blew up those elves.

Lilith was angrier than before. 

-Did you plan to go alone?

I asked sounding exasperated 

Lilith shakes her head 

-I just didn't want to lose the trail that had

I sighed and answered

She suddenly started to behave strangely.

Lilith said as she pointed towards the collapsed buildings. 

-Are you sure?

Suddenly a massive amount of energy began to pour from the surroundings, pillars of green energy rose up surrounding 3/4 of the city, leaving the market outside the dome that was beginning to form.

-This is bad

I said while looking at the whole panorama, after a few seconds the dome closed completely.

-Several energy signals are starting to emerge.

Lilith, who is particularly sensitive to energy, detects several presences that were beginning to emerge.

-Aaah...

It makes sense... 

-What's going on?

Lilith asks 

-Part of the city is not destroyed, right?

Lilith nods her head 

-This dome, it's a barrier, Anastasia said that a Succession War was in progress, it's a preventive measure.

Otherwise the city would end up totally destroyed, but even so, I don't find any reason for the arrow.

-Ooh I see, we're locked in 

Lilith seemed disinterested in the problem.

Lilith turns her gaze to me

  While I was talking to Lilith a big explosion was heard followed by a shockwave.

*Boom* *Boom* *Boom* 

Pillars of fire rose from the center of the city, buildings shook and a ferrous air reached my nose. 

Thousands of elves appeared, they had spears, swords, bows, big shields, each and every one of them started fighting 

-It's the first time I've seen this

I knew that wars are common in this new world, but I didn't expect to see one so soon.

-It's a small scale one

I looked back at Lilith in confusion.

-Small?

-Wars commonly affect the whole planet and attacks like that are just games.

Unbelievable 

I turned my gaze towards the place where the confrontation was happening, all kinds of powers were shooting in all directions, arrows of fire, great waves of water, blades of wind, all kinds of abilities were being thrown, the elves that could not stop or dodge, were mutilated or reduced to nothing. 

-I know a little about the magnitude of Luna's power but....

-My mother could flood an entire continent with a great wave if she wanted to, though of course, comparing you to my mother is simply absurd, you are the pinnacle of power.

Lilith puffs out her chest with pride. 

-Well... What do we do?

-Well... I've already lost the trail, so... let's wait a bit before we move on.

I nodded then we sat on the roof of the house as we watched the confrontation happening a few miles in front of us.

The ground began to turn red, the buildings disappeared, more and more destruction filled the surroundings.

An elf about 10 feet tall appeared from the sky in the center of the battlefield. 

-Look! He made a Hero's entrance 

I said while looking curiously 

Lilith who had her head resting on my chest, turned her gaze towards the elf. 

He had black leather armor and long green hair. 

-He should be the commander

-How do you know?

- The color of the armor

The elves were divided into two camps Elves with brown armor and elves with blue armor. 

-Ooh they run that system

I started stroking Lilith's hair and she smiled in satisfaction. 

When the green-haired elf stood up, he unleashed a gale of wind around him, blowing the blue-armored elves around him to pieces. 

He had an arrogant look on his face, the kind of person I do the worst with. 

I really wish I could avoid any possible interaction with him

A few minutes have already passed and it doesn't seem to be about to end, as more elves die, more elves appear.

Like an endless cycle, of death and replenishment. 

-How boring this is 

It's been 3 hours and they are still trying to kill each other, the only positive thing is that Lilith is sleeping on my chest and no attack has come in our direction, it seems that they haven't detected us yet.

But nothing can be that good, nor last forever.

-They were taking too long 

Fireballs, wind blades, earth balls, ice dates, all kinds of attacks are being fired at me. 

They feel the same as the time Anastasia used her ability on that pig prince, though those attacks are not powerful, it would be a nuisance if they raise Lilith. 

Without hesitation

I extended my hand in the air and a massive tornado of water was generated from my hand, destroying all the attacks coming towards me 

I felt several gazes on me, but I was still sitting in the same place without moving, a few seconds later, another batch of attacks shot towards me.

-They don't understand

I extended my hand again and again a massive tornado of water was formed from my hand destroying each one of the attacks. 

A few more seconds passed, a large amount of energy began to concentrate in one place. 

-Did they join?

A large fire arrow began to generate in the air pointing towards me, in response I began to generate a water arrow using the same amount of power, at the moment the fire arrow shot out I did the same with my water arrow.

Both arrows collided creating a great cloud of steam in the surroundings. 

Lilith was frowning so I began to stroke her hair softly, almost instantly her face relaxed and she was sleeping peacefully as if nothing could interrupt her. 

After a few seconds I felt a presence begin to approach me. 

When it broke through the cloud of steam it was the elf in black armor and green hair, he was staring at me and I could feel a slight hostility directed towards me 

He jumped up to the roof of the house in front of me. 

-Who are you? 

asked the elf with an authoritative voice

-...

I just watched without saying a single word. 

-Do you want to die?

The elf began to look at me with arrogance. 

-You should be careful with the way you address me.

I said as I released a little of my [King's Pressure]. 

The elf's body shuddered and all the arrogant attitude around him disappeared. 

-Understood

-What do you want?

I stopped using my [King's Pressure] on the elf so that he could speak normally.

I am the commander-in-chief of Lord Hervast's official army, my name is Zen, I wish to know if you will be a supporter of any faction? 

-I have no interest whatsoever, I'm simply looking at the scenery.
