The flaming arrow disappeared without a trace, was it intentional? Although the arrow as such does not have that much destructive power and I don't think it would have done any damage when it was hit, but the fact that it shot towards us is worrying.

-The first spells lost

Anastasia had a tired expression as she looked towards the city. 

-Does that happen regularly?

Aisha, like Anastasia, looked tired.

-Yes

Anastasia nodded in response to Aisha's words. 

On the other hand Lilith who was above me was looking with curiosity towards the city, despite of not having a reason as such this kind of situations call my attention, being in a war zone. 

-Let's go

Lilith whispered in my ear and I started to walk towards the city, the walls that surround it are high but they are not a problem for me to jump over them, I don't have something like an ID and I don't think you will let me pass being a demon, I'm not sure how the Kingdoms handle this kind of situations but it must not be pleasant.

-Are you sure?

asked Anastasia who started walking behind me followed by Aisha. 

-It looks interesting

I answered without looking back, I wanted to keep every little detail of the city that I could see in my mind, Lilith is probably doing the same since she was staring as well as me, is this Luna's work? 

-You just got out of one problem in hell but you already want to go to another!

Aisha looked exasperated even though she was complaining she followed us smoothly, her long pink hair swaying from side to side with every step she took forward.

On the other hand Anastasia had her white hair pulled back in a ponytail that reached to her hips, I hadn't noticed it until now but all 3 women have beautiful long hair. 

However Lilith's jet black hair was particularly lovely even more so if I looked into her red eyes it was as if they were swallowing me up in themselves, as if an abyss was staring back at me 

There are more things I can see now compared to a year ago, I can feel more things I couldn't before, I can feel Lilith more clearly, even though she tries to hide it she has a great possessive desire for me, it's not annoying, it's tender and pleasant I know she has Yandere tendencies I got over it early on in our first interactions, but I can see it now

It doesn't bother me, nor does it worry me, the Yandere are... A national treasure that should be cared for and appreciated by all, eternal, in fact if you take away the possible Lethal factor, they are the best option that could exist. 

After walking for a few minutes, we arrived at the city walls, it seems to be a little guarded part as there was no guard in sight.

Maybe it is because of the ongoing internal war?

I wasn't going to waste any more time and I was about to jump over the wall but I was stopped by Anastasia. 

-Lucas, wait

I turned my eyes to Anastasia 

-Yes?

-There is only one rule, don't attack the members of the houses, the elves that have an emblem in any part of their clothing, you must not touch them.

I was confused for a moment before Anastasia's sudden words.

-Any special reason?

-If you touch one, they'll all come after you.

If I think about it for a moment, I'm with three beautiful women no matter how you look at it or try to change it, one of them will try to overdo it. 

If I see that happen I can't promise I won't react, it's just impossible. 

-We'll see

I answered before jumping over the wall. 

-What do you think? 

I asked Lilith who was above me, thinking about it, it seems that she has an even stronger desire of possession than before.

-It will be annoying but interesting, although in the worst case scenario, one of these families will go after our head.

It is the most accurate assumption if I think about it carefully, although if possible I would prefer to avoid it and not make a bigger fuss. 

When I crossed the wall what appeared before my eyes was the image of a half destroyed city but that manages to maintain its autonomy, there were markets every few meters although the buildings looked old they were not in bad condition and maintained their structure although if I compare it with Earth its architecture is similar to the medieval but with a contemporary touch. 

Are all cities like this? I remember that city in hell had a similar architecture, after the brief glance I fell gently to the ground a few seconds later Anastasia and Aisha crossed the wall. 

We are in a kind of alley that seems to go out to the main street of the city thanks to Anastasia we don't have to worry about the features that can differentiate us from the rest of the elves, I know I haven't thought it through but I'm very curious about the kind of power that Anastasia handles 

However now is not the time to think about that... We have to go sightseeing! Although it's really questionable sightseeing 

-Can you get off? 

I said towards Lilith sincerely if possible I would prefer to draw as little attention as possible and avoid strange looks towards us.

Although she seemed reluctant to do it she did it easily 

On the other hand Aisha and Anastasia were talking to each other but I couldn't understand what they were saying. 

But Lilith decided to ignore her and taking my hand we went out of the alley. 

What I saw before my eyes, just as I saw before, the image of a half destroyed city, but that still seemed alive as if everything that was happening was something natural, the elves were walking in all directions their hair had unusual colors seen on earth, green, purple, light blue, they looked androgynous but I could still distinguish between men and women but I could not see children anywhere.

We continued walking while I was being pulled by Lilith who was holding my hand, however several glances began to be directed towards her, both men and women were looking at her with a certain greedy light in their eyes. 

If Claire were here, would it be the same?  Claire is Lilith's servant even though it has been over a year since I last saw her. 

When I looked back the figures of Aisha and Anastasia were nowhere to be seen. 

Maybe they didn't notice that we were gone? No, I don't think that was possible Did they deliberately leave us alone? Or maybe Aisha is following us with that strange ability she has? 

I turned my eyes to Lilith who was looking around curiously, her eyes were shining brightly when she saw something she didn't know, but she never let go of my hand. 

-Look!

Lilith pointed towards a street that seemed particularly crowded, there was an even greater flow of elves than before, I walked next to Lilith, although it seemed more like I was being dragged by her unilaterally. 

When we arrived to that street, a market appeared before us, objects we had never seen before, strange animals among other things, Lilith was excited and her smile was proof of it.

We didn't have any money so buying anything was impossible, but we could still see what this market had to offer. 

-Waooo- 

Something that looked like a pig was hanging on one of the stalls on display, it was hairy and black and three big horns were coming out of its head. 

Fruits vegetables, all kinds of things were being sold in the section of this place, but in spite of everything, none of the vendors were shouting and offering their products, they were silent waiting for the buyers to approach and ask to buy their product, it seems a bit strange to me Are they being cautious?

After spending a few minutes going from stall to stall, Lilith decided to walk slowly next to me. 

-It's a strange place

I couldn't deny her words as I had the same impression of this place. 

-It's strange that everyone is silent, almost as if they don't want to be heard.

-Maybe it's because of the succession war that's in progress as Anastasia said.

It certainly could be one of the reasons, still, it's strange.

After a few seconds I spoke 

-We could ask, but... I don't think we'll get an answer.

After all, we have been walking for a while and black-haired elves are very strange, I have seen elves with every type of hair except for black and white. 

And while we were walking they looked at us with a strange expression, maybe it's just a misunderstanding but that's the impression I got so far.

-You are right

Apparently Lilith had come to the same conclusion as I had.

This city seems to be particularly large and I have not felt strong movements of energy in the surroundings, it is strange, considering the fire arrow that shot towards us. 

As I was immersed in my thoughts Lilith spoke. 

-Perhaps the fire date you stopped was a signal rather than an attack? 

-What do you mean?

-Think about it, an arrow at us, we walked into this place practically plain and simple, everyone looks at us like we're a zoo animal and the elves are silent which is odd considering this is a market place.

I understand your point 

-That means?

-Maybe the elves don't want to be noticed and they know everyone who usually hangs around these places and us being new faces we break all that, maybe they think we are part of some family and that we are here as infiltrators, remember that even though they see us, none of them talk to us or make any noise when we are near them.

Although you are certainly right, I don't think that's all there is to it.

-You could be right, but we are still in the outskirts of the city and we only know this area. 

Although I don't think his reasoning is incorrect, it is a bit hasty.

Lilith thinks carefully while walking beside me.

As I nodded my head at Lilith's words, we reached the end of the market, beyond this point, there were only half-destroyed houses and alleys scattered all over the place.

I turned my eyes to Lilith 

-What do you want to do? 

I asked

-Let's go around this place some more

Lilith answered

Holding hands, we walked through the alleys of the area, it didn't seem to be a crowded area, there were no elves lying on the ground like vagabonds, everything was abnormally clean even though it is a somewhat destroyed city, the more time passed the stranger it got. 

But while we were looking around, a slight signal caught my attention. 

-Lilith- 

-I know.

Two presences began to follow us as we walked quietly through the alleys, we increased our pace and turned a couple of times through the alleys until they finally appeared. 

Two elves with marks on their faces appeared in front of us. 

-Can I help you with anything? 

I asked staring at the two of them. 

-Is that him? 

The elf on the left looks at me for a few seconds and asks the elf on the right.

-Yes 

The elf on the right answers

The elf on the left turns his gaze to me and walks forward but stops two steps short of facing me. 

Both elves were tall, maybe two meters each, however something happened that I did not expect. 

-Please, we ask for your help

The elf on the left leans slightly towards me after saying that, followed by the elf on the right. 

-Eh? 

What the hell is he saying?

I turned my gaze to Lilith however she also looked confused and didn't understand what was going on either.
