Elements in Marvel: Marvel x Avatar LoK

Spider-man quickly swings up to dodge the car flying towards him. After sticking to a nearby wall, he looks to the side to see an angry Doctor Octopus snapping her tentacles at Ghost-spider. Behind him, he could see the civilian quickly run for cover, as rubble flew all around them. Both heroes managed to pull Doc Oc from the bank and drag her into the open streets. Still, today was a weekend and there was a large crowd gathered on the streets. 

'Hey Gwen', whispers Miles into his communicator. 'Lots of people today. We gotta make this quick'.

'You think', Gwen replies. 'This was not how I planned my holidays to start. Why do super villains always pop up when I want to relax'.

Both heroes leap towards the villain, dodging between her robotic tentacles. 'Hey doc, looks like you haven't gotten enough sleep. You need some coffee'. Spider-man snaps his web at a nearby coffee cart and slings it at the villain. Doc Oc blocks it with her tentacles before giving the hero a growl. 

'Nah. Coffee doesn't really help in this kinda situation. The doc needs some shut eye'. Ghost-spider quickly throws some web which lands on the doctor's face. Doc Oc grunts as she rips the sticky stuff of her face but just as she manages to pull it out, she sees two fists flying towards her before finally being knocked out. 

'Nice', both heroes say as they give each other a high five.

Suddenly, they both feel a strange sensation, their spidey-senses, before a loud explosion went off behind them. During the fight, some of the rubble thrown by Doctor Octopus crashed into an empty restaurant, breaking the gas pipes. Enough chaos and the gas eventually ignited. 

Both heroes quickly inspected the area, swinging towards the people close to the explosion and pulling them to safety. Their spidey-senses keep telling them that another explosion would erupt any second now. Spidey looks around for anyone else they need to save. Then, he sees Ghost running inside the burning restaurant. Just as he was about to warn her, the burning restaurant erupts into a larger explosion. 

'Gwen', he screams as he runs towards the fire. But to his surprise, he finds Ghost leaning behind a wall of solid dirt that didn't look like it was part of the building's design. Before he could inspect it further, he notices her covered in slight burns. 'What the hell were you thinking?'

Just as he was about to go off on a tirade, he sees Ghost hugging a cat and he just sighs. 

As they exit the burning building, Spidey's senses went off again. He looks around the crowd and notices a woman watching them with a strange look. In the crowd of panicked people, she stands there, calm and composed. Then she slowly blends into the crowd and disappears. 

'Hey, tough guy. You alright', says Ghost.

Spidey nods at her. 'Yeah. I just- No, I'm fine'.

Both heroes snap out their webs and swing away.
