Unfilial Son in Law

Two powerful entities floated in the vast recess of space. Red stars were all around them, giving the void a red hue. It was as if they were under another sky. One entity was shrouded in light, his features unable to be seen. A glowing coat hung on his shoulders and flowed like a cape.

The other was a red skinned demon. Grey aura rose from his body. Space was distorted wherever the aura passed. All of the civilizations in the current star system were unaware of the danger coming to them. A fight between god level beings wasn't pretty.

Trigon's face was solemn. He finally remembered the aura that was crashing down onto him. The demon was battle ready. Both of them were.

"You grew to my size…Does that make you confident? Your arrogance. It will be your undoing." Trigon transmitted.

Those were the last words before his figure disappeared. A fist was almost touching Sora's nose the next moment. Speeding up his perception to the max, the celestial being swerved around the attack, stopping behind the demon god.

VRRMMMM

Just that fist alone was deadly. The force shot out in a straight line, puncturing right through a distant star. If there was life on that planet it was definitely extinguished. The star would explode soon.

Time had slowed to a standstill. Sora gazed at Trigon's back while slowly raising his leg. In reality, this movement was extremely fast.

"You don't understand just who you are fighting. Take this kick from me." The light humanoid transmitted.

By the time this demon could even comprehend the words being transmitted, it was too late. Every fiber of Sora's base speed was being utilized in this blow. The dark god hadn't even pulled back his fist yet. The celestial being's leg swept across, crashing into Trigon's waist. His eyes widened in slow motion.

DIIIIING

Trigon's body turned into a beam of light, flashing through space at untold speeds. He crashed through a planet and that didn't slow his momentum at all. Two planets. Three planets. It finally came to an end when he crashed onto the surface of the fourth planet.

His eyes were wide in disbelief. Only now did he finally realize that he needed to give his all. His aura shot out in all directions, setting traps that would alert him when Sora was in proximity. It would give him just enough time to react to the sheer speed.

Unfortunately, time was money. Sora wasn't going to wait for the man to finish his preparations. He was already beside Trigon, another leg careening toward his four eyed face. Another clean hit.

DIIIIING

The force of his kick shattered the space behind him, annihilating the planet they were on. It was unfortunate for the sentient lifeforms to have been under a demon god's rule. At least they wouldn't even feel their deaths.

Sora flashed after the demon once more. This time, he appeared upside down. Another kick was hurtling down toward Trigon's neck. It was too bad that the ruler of the Under-Realms had finally completed his alarm system. He could finally react to the speed.

Trigon opened his arms and caught the light humanoid's leg. Hellfire rose from his fist. He couldn't help but grin.

"Here's a gift from me." The red skinned man transmitted.

The celestial being raised his arms to block. The flaming fist slammed into his guard and broke through. It smashed right onto Sora's chest. His body was sent through space, and he found himself closer to the sun.

'His bodily strength is immense. I have to be smart when I use my speed.' He thought.

Trigon materialized in front of Sora with hellflames dancing across his body. He charged toward the light human, grey aura wrapping around the flames. Space was being ripped apart wherever it passed.

The shining entity flashed behind Trigon but suddenly stopped. Raven had suddenly appeared. Her arms wrapped around his neck.

"Sora…please stop." She pleaded with a sad expression. Sora frowned.

"Raven? How did you-"

BOOOM (Muted)

The destructive fist slammed into his stomach, almost going through his back. Sora actually felt this one. The grey aura was erasing his light and dealing actual damage. His vision grew blurry for a moment. Once everything cleared up, he found himself on an empty moon.

Sora rose to his feet and made another mental note. Illusions. It seems that Trigon needed to use tricks to beat him. It made the celestial being feel a bit flattered. From the start of the battle until now, only a few seconds had passed.

Trigon materialized in the air above him. He looked down at the shining humanoid as if victory was certain. Sora wanted to roll his eyes. All that over a lucky hit?

"Naive. You haven't fought enough battles. Even though your battle prowess is high, you are still too green."

"...The good thing about me is that I adapt."

"Oh? Then adapt to this."

Trigon pointed his fist in Sora's direction. Immediately, an invisible force shot out with deadly precision. The light human's eyes widened as he beamed away from the attack.

RIIIIP

Instead of just destroying the moon, it was more like he'd erased it. As if it never existed in the first place. That wasn't power…that was divinity. He could erase matter. Divinity huh? Two could play that game.

Sora raised his shining hand, sending a massive hyper beam. It lit up space with its luminescence. This was nothing for Trigon. He cut through the beam as if it was paper, but it was only a distraction. The demon god frowned upon seeing the celestial being again.

The glowing radiance had turned dark. Black ghastly flames rose from his body. It was like the glowing humanoid had coated his light in negative energy. The overbearing shine had become calm and deep.

Still, his features couldn't be seen. Trigon had no idea what Sora actually looked like. The color change made him wary.

"You changed color palettes. How delightful. That brazen light was starting to get on my nerves."

"...Hmm. I'm glad you like it. It'll be the last thing you see."

"Mighty words. You are surely strong but you lack experience. As a veteran, I will teach you what this means."

Sora couldn't help but chuckle. Experience meant nothing to him due to the innate skill and mastery that God had given him. Trigon had no idea what was about to happen. The celestial being wanted to catch him off guard. For this reason, he wasn't going to hit max speed yet.

"When you think you've won, you've probably lost." Sora responded.

With a flash of light, the humanoid accelerated toward Trigon at a speed that was only a bit faster than his base. The demon god could still react. A divine fist was launched at Sora's chest.

He ducked below the punch and swept toward the demon's legs. Trigon leapt over the sweep and bended space and time. A divine staff appeared in his hands as he swung it down onto Sora.

The celestial being jumped backward and kicked an explosive beam at the evil god's face. Trigon tilted his head to the side, avoiding it. He didn't expect it to explode right behind him. The force sent him flying toward Sora. It was time.

Hyperspeed. In an instant, the light humanoid appeared behind Trigon. He grabbed the red skinned man and they instantly teleported in front of the sun. Sora resonated with the sunlight and coated it with divinity. Immediately, thousands of divine light rays were feasting on the demon god's body.

"AAAAHHHHH!" He roared in pain.

The sun had never bothered him before. Why the fuck did it hurt now?! With a heavy stomp on space, the burnt demon flew as far away as he could. His skin was melting. When he finally got far enough away, he heaved a sigh of relief. Unfortunately, it wasn't over.

Sora accelerated at hyperspeed again. A sick grin adorned his lips. His palm slammed down on top of Trigon's head.

"Surprise!"

CRASH

The space around them shattered like glass, its shards glowing with every color of the rainbow. That blow had sent them into another dimension. Before Trigon's body could beam away due to the force, Sora grabbed onto him.

Another punch to the liver sent them to a realm full of green clouds. Another punch to the face sent them to a realm full of building blocks. With blood spilling out of his mouth and ears, Trigon grabbed Sora's wrist.

"Damn Mongrel!" He roared with rage. His eyes shined with energy.

Still, it stopped nothing. Sora phased through his grasp and kicked him with the full force of the cosmos. At hyperspeed. The demon god was launched through dimensions. The celestial being didn't follow this time. Using his divinity like this was tiring. As he caught his breath, a divine voice spoke to him.

'Sora, end this quickly. You are making a few universes unstable. Many eyes are now watching this fight.' It was God.

'Understood.' He responded.

After taking another deep breath, he searched for Trigon. It took a while to find him. The demon god was clutching his wounds as he rose from a planet sized crater. He stood in a red wasteland with a similarly red sky. A fitting burial ground for this demon god.

His face was contorted with rage. As soon as he felt Sora's arrival, he slammed his staff into the ground. The planet shook.

"Damn mortal! I am an elder god! You will submit or die by my hand!" He roared at the top of his lungs. He couldn't believe he'd been wounded to this extent.

Several copies of Trigon materialized around Sora. He was surrounded. The light humanoid dropped to the ground with full concentration.

'This is the final stretch.' He thought.

A darklight greatsword appeared in his hand. Several divine knights in dark armor appeared beside him. Getting into his most comfortable battle stance, he charged forward.
