Desolate winds blew through the barren wasteland. Dirt and dust was picked up due to the breeze. Rivers and oceans were devoid of water, denoting a place once teeming with life. An endless rocky plain was all that was left. Two different groups could be seen on this red planet.
The first group revealed a bunch of gigantic red demons. Each of them wore broken pieces of armor, rage evident on their identical faces. Blood dripped down their bodies and fed the planet. They were in a much worse condition than the group they surrounded.
The second group was composed of a bunch of titanic black knights. A darklight humanoid was in the middle, his features unable to be seen. There was a glowing coat hanging from his shoulders.
In his hands was a glowing greatsword that shined with an ethereal radiance. It was as if the universe resided in the blade. This could now be referred to as his holy blade. A star saber. Coated in his divinity, a beautiful phenomena was created through the weapon.
Sparks were flying as tons and tons of planetary crust were blown to space. Each movement was destructive. Every exchange of attacks sent pressure through the void. It was a dirty fight.
Sora's divinity was running low. This was due to the constant use. The rest of it had been channeled into his blade. With no aura to shield his body from Trigon's divinity, things had gotten dicey. The celestial being now had to finish this fight without being touched.
"Phoooo…" He released a powerful breath.
He'd been working like a machine, exchanging move after move with replicas and the original elder god. It had changed from a duel to a war.
SLASH
The black knights cleaved through limbs, utilizing their divine speed. Beaming from place to place. A one-sided battle…but it wasn't quick. Trigon and his replicas fought back like fierce beasts. They clawed through bodies, slammed their staffs, and bit through limbs in order to live. But would it be enough?
Sora finally met with Trigon once again. In the eye of the self-created storm. Their battle changed the weather, drowning the surroundings with acid rain. The light humanoid sidestepped a downward hand chop which split the ground in half. He cleaved at the demon god's legs.
Trigon leapt over the attack, the blade pressure slicing multiple clones in two. His leg kicked toward Sora's face. This was a fatal mistake. Switching to offense when barely able to defend was a bad move. The celestial being accelerated to hyperspeed, his divine greatsword flashing across the demon's knee.
"Aaaaah!"
This left the injured fighter without balance. Before he could fall to the floor, he jumped as hard as he could. The strength behind his leap sent him far across the planet. He turned his head and opened his mouth.
"ROAAARR!"
A powerful grey hyper beam burst from his angry shout and headed straight toward the battlefield. It was like an armageddon falling from the sky. The entire sky changed colors as Sora watched the approaching energy beam. Filling his divine greatsword with light, he accelerated his swing.
The world changed colors once again as a deadly slash cut right through the beam. It immediately found its way to the retreating demon, cutting off another leg and arm. Unfortunately, Trigon couldn't regenerate his wounds. The dark flames spread from wherever the blade had touched.
He could feel his strength declining. His muscles were getting thinner, his god level physical prowess diminishing. It was the opposite for Sora. The twilight flames transferred that strength over to him. His physical power grew stronger by the second.
Trigon finally landed on the ground, resulting in another crater. Ignoring the lava that had begun washing over the planet, the light humanoid stabbed his blade into the ground. The replicas finally disappeared. Each surviving black knight materialized around the fallen demon.
"To think my death would be today…Such a thing was impossible to predict." Trigon commented with a calm voice. He only gazed at the sky and space beyond.
"...This was my first time fighting this hard. I may not have struggled, but I did use a lot of energy." Sora answered.
"Are you an adjudicator? Who are you? Someone like you must definitely be well known across the universe. Where is your domain?"
Sora thought for a moment before allowing his light to dim. His features were finally revealed to the dying elder god. A horrified expression instantly adorned his four eyed face. It was soon replaced with shame.
"I was slain by…a human? A human. A HUMAN?! HAHAHAHA!" He laughed in despair.
It was a pitiful sight. Regardless, Sora could give a damn. His lips raised into a slight smile.
"...You gave me a pretty hard time. You need to reflect on your actions." He spoke slowly.
With those words, the surrounding knights closed the circle until they were directly over Trigon. Their feets raised up into the air…then they stomped down. It was a nasty curbstomp. A gangbang beatdown.
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM
Sora heaved a sigh of relief as the divine knights pummeled the elder god. The red skinned demon found his face going deeper and deeper into the planet's crust. It was the first time he'd ever gotten so intimate with the bottom of a foot.
The sleepy man sat down and leaned against his greatsword. With his eyes focused on the sky, he reveled in the feeling of destroying a powerful being. It felt much better than when he took down Darkseid. This feeling didn't compare.
Eventually, Sora raised his hand, prompting the knights to back off. Trigon was halfway into the grave. Only a few more breaths before his consciousness went dark.
"To think my daughter's champion…was so formidable." He croaked softly.
"Your life was on a timer once I met her. It's too bad you were such a horrible father."
"She is my child. It was our destiny to be together."
"Sure…It's a good thing I'm her daddy now. She'll be asking me for all sorts of things. Like a true father." Sora mocked.
"Primitive insult-"
SLASH
Trigon's head left his shoulders. With his death, Sora finally acquired the rest of the elder god's physical strength. A slight smile adorned his lips when he looked at his knights. They were kneeling without orders. It was unknown how they were able to make such an action. He'd think about it some other time.
Once they disappeared, the young Lockhart stretched his limbs. It was time to find his way home. He couldn't even predict how long it would take.
"A god is dead by my hands. Does that make me a god too?" He mumbled.
Without any more words, the celestial figure beamed into space. It felt like Earth was an infinite distance away. After raising his arm in the right direction, he flicked the space in front of him. The void shattered like glass and revealed a small opening.
Sora grabbed the edges and pulled, allowing the hole to grow wider. Only then did he go through. Instantly, the distance between him and his destination became finite. He was once again in the correct universe. He finally took a step and disappeared.
DING
…
…
…
It was unknown how long he'd been traveling, but it felt like years. Sora's messy hair now curled past his golden eyes. It was annoying but he'd gotten used to it. He was finally 18, as if this made a difference in his life.
'Almost there.' He thought.
The young man had been moving at hyperspeed nonstop. He needed time to rest and recover. Sora was praying that barely any time had passed since he left Earth. A certain yandere would break if he was gone for too long. After a few more moments, he let go of the gas.
Hyperspace travel slowed to normal movements, the white tunnel disappearing. Earth finally appeared before him. The sleepy man allowed gravity to pull him in. Exhaustion hit him like a ton of bricks and he struggled to stay awake.
Once he reached the clouds, he flashed to the ground. A young kid could be seen eating an ice cream cone while playing on his phone. Sora quickly approached.
"Excuse me, sorry."
He snatched the phone and checked the date. The kid immediately frowned and jumped up and down, trying to reach his height. He wasn't happy.
"Hey! Give it back!" Before he could continue, he stopped.
Sora's expression made him quiet. It was an expression of fear. A month had gone by. Just like that. He quickly tossed the kid his phone and beamed toward the manor. What he saw made his heart stop.
The entire manor was messy. The maids were hiding. Broken vases and elegant materials laid across the floor. Gash marks covered the walls, showing signs of a knife attack. Sora realized he'd have to visit Raven later. It was because of Alice. When he saw her, his face fell.
Alice wore an oversized shirt and nothing else. Her ankle bracelet was still pulsing due to him tracking it to get home. She sat on the floor with her back to the wall. Her gaze was pointed right at the front doors. Her eyes looked soulless, like those of an empty husk. It was as if she was dead.
Sora immediately entered through the front doors. Even as the outside light washed over her, she showed no response. It was as if the doors were still closed. The worried Lockhart kneeled before her. His hand gently caressed her cheek.
"Alice…I'm home…Are you there? Come to bed with me. I'm very tired."
There was no response. She was like a doll that lost her battery. Her eyes were glazed. Sora didn't give up. He gently placed a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"Alice…please come back to me…Forgive me. I shouldn't have been gone that long."
He stared into her eyes for a good five minutes. She was unresponsive. Even then, Sora didn't quit. He soothed her for another ten minutes while being as patient as he could. Ten minutes turned into thirty. Then an hour. Eventually, he lowered his head and rested it on her shoulder.
'What have I…......fuck.'
As he fell deep into his subconscious, a weak hand touched his face. Sora looked up to see his mistress. She was back in the real world.
"S….Sora…" She hummed weakly.
He immediately picked her up, and she slowly wrapped around him like a koala. She was much lighter than he remembered. Her body was malnourished and frail…she hadn't been eating for an extended amount of time.
With her still in his arms, he brought her to the kitchen and fed her. It was a difficult endeavor. She didn't want to move at all. Her head barely left his neck.
'If I was gone for a moment longer, she would've killed herself. I barely made it.' He thought.
After feeding her, they returned to his room. There was no damage done to the bedroom when compared to the rest of the estate. Her clothes were strewn across the floor, but that was common.
Alice hadn't left his embrace for a single moment. As he undressed and fell in the bed…even when he fell asleep, she hadn't let go of him. She didn't say a single word.
