Chapter Seventeen: Sparks with the ambassador.

They had nothing to settle but Liza thought she might as well speak to him since he decided to lie about his identity and then suddenly , anger rose in her chest and she started towards the car in such fast steps that Greg and Alex decided not to interfer since they didn't know what was happening.

Only James followed from behind, and him too didn't understand what was going on.

* He sure has some explanations to do girl.*

* Oh you said it all.*

Why was she so angry and fuming. She had clearly turned him down and now she was still angry that he had not told her the truth from the start.

She was at the door of the car and when she reached for the doorknob, it opened to let her access. A gush of wind came out from the car and hit her bare legs sending shivers straight to her spine.

She was suddenly hesitant to enter and James was confused. In two seconds, she was walking like a wild untamable leopardess as if she was ready to kick some ass but now she suddenly stopped there as if afraid to enter the car. What is this with women. One second she's in a foul mood then the next, she is nervous. It's not his business after all. He didn't know Thier relationship well and their connection so he won't do any speculation.

" Is there a problem Ms?" James asked in a soft but proffessional voice trying hard not to laugh at her sudden change.

She shook her head and then entered. She didn't have time to adjust comfortably in her seat that strong arms caught hold of her from the side and she felt a familiar feeling of tenderness. She didn't see the face but the scent of this person was just so toxic in its own unique form. It was definitely Denis.

She leaned in and said naught because the air was soothing around her and felt kind. She didn't try to fight it at all because she felt like she had missed this feeling of safety and why not get a hold on it for the time being before she could get the interrogations going. Surprisingly she reached out to try to get hold of the person too as she held him by the arms.

They stayed so for something like a few minutes like people who missed each other. Lovers who had been put apart and be reunited by destiny like the way water parts when coursing through a water source and meets a stone or and obstacle, it joins back later on. They had nothing going on but it just felt right to stay the way they were.

Well after all, all good things has its own ending. Consequently she broke away and he didn't try to restrain her.

She looked deep into Denis' eyes and tried to see through but she met a wall full of zen and before she could utter a word, he spoke in a quiet tone.

" I'm sorry." Pause. " Maybe I should've told you the truth and come out clean and maybe..."

What happened next was unexpected. Liza just  kissed him to shut him up. She didn't have the intention to linger for long but as she set her lips on his, she didn't want to part with his lips. She was over the moon just by the simple contact and it made her belly flutter in appreciation.

They both felt a kind of longing which they found interesting and which they didn't quite understand. Was it the fact that their bodies both remembered each other from their last intimate encounter and had engraved the feel of each other which made the contact not one bit awkward?

None the less, she moved her lips over his and he took in her cue and rested his left palm on her cheeks. The sparks she felt shooting from her palm made her feel like on a merry go round. The intimacy was nothing rough nor raw, it was one of content and joy. The joy of reuniting with a lost one, they will have to sort out this feeling in each other, that is if only he still felt the way he did at first. It's not like she was proposing something to him or expecting something from him. And her mind went back to the way he had proposed Thier stay together. They just needed to talk. Period.

She sucked on his bottom lip very slowly in a way he found quite arousing and he did same with her upper lip, grazing it softly with his teeth.

The action sent waves of pleasure in her whole being and she gave out a soft moan. Her heart beat had raced against her own will but she couldn't blame her treacherous body for reacting so responsively to this good looking man whom she had seen as her professor and was now savoring in the kiss she had ignited as an ambassador.

She moaned again but much more slower and longer when he brought his other hand to the small of her back did a cunny flip in an area he knew too well on ladies. He couldn't help it, he was a passionate man who loved for his passion to be shared and most of all to his object of interest. He smiled when he got her response because that fed his manly ago which meant he had his way in his own kind of way.

They didn't get aggressive and all and understood the need to be sensual but yet loving. Loving, It was a strong word for both of them for the stage at which they were right now but they didn't care and wouldn't at the time being.

Denis pulled away regretting the lost of her feel on him but he didn't take his hands off her. He let her catch her breathe and adjust back to a normal sitting position since he too was trying to do same and it's just when he noticed the way his trousses felt very uncomfortable and he shifted in an awkward attempt to adjust himself which just didn't got to do anything intended.

After a few gulps of air, thanks to the air conditioner in the car that she wasn't that flushed, she managed to straighten herself and talked to him rather in a straight manner.

''Why didn't you tell me the truth? Why did you have to hide? Why did you lie on your identity?" Liza asked disappointed that he didn't trust her well enough to handle such simple secret.

" So straight huh? Bold to the extend of getting to business just after kissing me senseless." He grinned at what he said. He had intended it to be a joke so that the tense air won't fall over them and prevent effective communication. But to the peril of his joke, it made her look indignant as she tried to fire at him something he knew he didn't want to hear, so he cut in straight so that she won't get angered for no reason.

"How dare you..."

"Sorry it wasn't my intention to use the wrong kind of joke on you let alone in this situation. It was just to lighten the atmosphere." He reassured her.

He looked at her and when he saw that her facial axpression was getting back to normal, he continued.

" I'm sorry. So so sorry for all the misunderstanding and firstly, I felt it was more secure to keep things that way. Secondly, I wouldn't have hid it any longer to you if you had let me accompany you through your recovery which you obviously didn't need me as it shows on the glow of your skin." He paused, hoping she would reason with him , he added " And lastly, I didn't lie to you. I just didn't tell you anything. You saw me for who I was at the moment, and back in the states, I sometimes give lectures and seminars which means apart from a business guy,  I'm kind of a part time proffessor."

He smiled at her and was released she didn't pursue in her attacks because he would've let her have it after all he still burnt for her and what she did just a while ago was now playing on him as he got really really uncomfortable in his trousers. But she still didn't end up by smiling. She was just blank.

She was about to ask about something but her cell rang and she saw Alex. She contemplated on ignoring it but still she knew why Alex was calling. She didn't answer the call but just told Denis she had to leave and then exited the car leaving no way for him to ask her to stay.

Liza looked over and saw Alex and Greg standing near Greg's car and walked over to them. She just hoped she didn't look disheveled or else she was in for it with Alex nagging her about it. She flashed a smile to show them that she was very okay at their worried and protectiveexpressions.

Thank goodness Alex said nothing but led her to her car asking her if she would follow them to their apartment or a restaurant for some celebration. She decided on the former. She prefered to be in a private space at the moment even if it wasn't hers at least not somewhere public.

They reached the apartment and entered with Alex giving again an excuse about Greg needing to fetching something before returning.
